We had a successful trip to the city. I am greatly relieved at the response we received from our family doctor and pharmacist.
Long story short....DH is starting on epilepsy meds today. We have 2 referrals to two different neurologists in different cities. We will take who ever we can get in to see. Our pharmacist told us to expect a long delay in getting neurologist appt because they are currently scheduling appts in March 2027. (REally???!!!!!!!!!!!) ugh.
Big kudos to our pharmacist. Just ten minutes after our family doctor sent in DH’s prescriptions, they were ready for pickup. I’m so grateful we didn’t have to make an extra trip back to the city.
Bonus was the prescriptions were NO CHARGE. Not even a copay. I am astonished how much our prescriptions cost has dropped lately. Although yesterday DS18 wegovy prescription cost us $299 so it isn't completely free on every drug.

The frozen food was mostly melted by the time we got them home and unloaded. I put them in the freezer and hope for the best.

I am giving food Rx & ex. log tracking a go again for 21 days.
I need time of day Rx food intake Units of Insulin and type
Exercise time I do not need a lot of this info. as it's on my phone app.

Bs & time
Ack it's a lot!

I had skipped a page in the first week of previous attempts so I added groc. list there.
Meals and menus went on a diff. page I skipped further in it as well.
It's a health and will ness log with light great info to fill out...
I am just writing over it with a black pen for what I need.
It's very messy some days I journal about stuff food issues etc. that effects my eating.
I put weather icons on it and moon b/c that effect my b/c.

-----
I had a de-stressing power nap.
It's 81* and raining lightly outside now.
I moved the tulips in the old dish pan out to the plant cage.

I am excited about getting two new dish pans
that motivated me to get those dishes done.

Hi, I have lots to tell and also lots I could still do.

I am hopeful about tomorrow as a TOTH or BOTH day (or any other kind of get-er-done), Twins'. Not that it needs to be all housework, just a hope for consistency. Today held only a little time for things that were not social or family.

Destressing power nap - good name, Nancy. Do you mean that getting the bs info down in tracking is a lot to get planned?

LadyM, I'm happy for you two that you can have this plan, even at the times you are not part of general study about it. I'm sure the experience you have will give insight to medical folks anyway, and you will be getting the benefit.

BBL with catch-up on my day.

Very interesting chat about ovens. I wipe my hob every day and give it a "proper" clean every week. For the oven itself, I cheat. I have an oven liner that catches spills before they get burnt on. It's non stick, so everything wipes off.

Similar products are available from Amazon. I've currently got a gas oven, but I've also used it with electric.

That still leaves the door and the shelves. Again, because I'm lazy, if I think anything might overflow, I put it on a baking tray to catch any excess, which means the shelves don't get too bad - I just stick them in the dishwasher from time to time. The oven door has a glass viewing panel, but I've found a weekly wipe and polish with glass cleaner keeps that looking respectable. Sometimes it needs a scrub - usually if DH has been cooking!

hi d kitty very smart about the liner!!! what a good idea! I have to admit my oven glass gets drips in-between - I have to take the whole door apart to get to that class.
great idea about putting a baking tray underneath. lol about your dh cooking! very cute!

d harriet waving !!! self cleaning - is that a thing... really?!!! I need to look at that. great idea on adding the stove fan, filter and hood.
I no longer use any stove cleaner - I wet the stove a bit on bottom and then use dawn power wash - leave it there for a bit. I have a new scrubber just for the kitchen and cabinets. (the other one is for the bathrooms only). it rinsed right up - and it was quite a sticky spill.

d Nancy
good for you on your lag as well - I am starting this today after seeing d lady's tracking. great ideas
love that you took a de-stress nap!

d lady great that you had a successful trip to the city!!! praying the seizure meds work well for him right away! yay on no charge for your dh's meds. sorry your Ds's meds are so expensive!

d twins hello good on you for not doing the brisket today! happy timer work to you! I have my timer going as well.
it is always a joy to be here with you!
