I am moving slow and going to the basement to do duds one stiff leg and I can do it
but it's very slow! No hurry today I suppose.

Did more pages for the planner to repunch after washing tape trying to use
the older up first.

Just puttering type of stuff between loads of laundry.
Next load going sheets are in the dryer.
I did reach out to dson for help with flipping the mattress.

It feels like a step or two backwards today but such is life some times.

worked in dh's bathroom and got the staining in the sink cleaned (used CLR and electric brush) - looks much better -
dh got toilet cleaner bc the bleach wasn't enough.
went through dd older's fancy hair conditioner and shampoos. She is really nice beauty products. I don't use that but once in a while I will try her products - luxurious. She works hard and it's nice to see her do things for herself.

mom slept all morning (lol except at 4:30 am), she had furosemide yesterday so it figures that she would sleep.
I thought mom waking up. it's 11:18 she is asleep
mom woke at 11:30 am - she was not happy with myself or the helper - first mom called me to complain about helper getting her up - she wasn't thrilled with my positive - good morning - "it's great to get up" She called me a name - I told her she could call me that name and I will still love you 100% - she was not thrilled with that either - she said we were nuts. She was soaking wet bc of her furosemide.
breakfast is ready for her, pills are ready, her boost is ready -

flip flopped laundry - ate a salad
flip flopped laundry again
took extra large dog crate to basement - dd had it in her room for Gracie - her dog has a big one in her room already.

life is a celebration! my goal - doing something fun!

I have done as much as I can for today in dd youngers room.
worked in upstairs hall closet - separated the bin that had christmas paper and bags as well as birthday bags - it is now nicely organized.
worked in upstairs hall bathroom I need to make a project out of the room
worked in dh's bathroom - this is already a project. I need to sand things and paint - without dh getting overwhelmed by it.
had mom walk with walker - she is weaker today.

what I am looking at that needs addressing: the kitchen surfaces are messy- dishes are clean but 2 loads of clean laundry are on the chair, stuff is on the counters, stove and kitchen table
I have the front chest full of clean sheets that need to be put away.
the next right thing: fold the laundry, put it away.

Finally back in the house.

The business meeting is at 10:30 so I hustled to get there, even so was nearly late. The issue at hand was not brought up until the end - apparently "they" had been passing out info to some members as they came in? Anyway the prez made a statement correcting some of the info, and asked for a motion to postpone the discussion until October because the meeting had run so long. So one of the ladies with this motion read the motion and started informing members of purpose and history and, and, and, so I (the Hero) called the question. Normally the chair is to call the vote on "calling the motion" if that passes, the the vote on the motion is taken immediately. Anyway, the president went immediately to the vote on the motion, which passed easily, that the discussion be postponed until October.

Someone else would have called for it soon if I hadn't but I know the prez was glad to hear it. After the meeting I had two returns near the mall and purchased another top that is appropriate for the HHD. After it was way across to the vet's office, then Michaels (glue gun) and post office, and finally Target and now home. And I'm tired.

Dcleaning lady is coming in the a.m. so need to be ready for her. I'm also going to go ahead today and make the brownies for temple for Friday night now.

OY vey. The sidewalk issue won't die. One resident emailed our prez with questions which he answered, Some of those answers should have been "talk to Dr. Pain-in-the-neck who started this. These aren't HOA questions."

my white lilac tree is blooming - crazy.
flip more laundry - folded my laundry and put it away - I have dd youngers clean laundry on the front chest thingy and will take care of it tomorrow- I have more work to do in that room.
I got a huge water bill this month - it actually shocked me. I hope there isn't a leak somewhere.
washing mom's dirty laundry - her towels are drying now.
helper showed mom some of her photos which was very sweet.
I should be having mom help me with things but I really wanted to get things done. mom is a bit wiped out from the furosemide.

next: clean off counters -

Sitting in waiting room while dd15 is with counselor.

We arrive in the city 30 minutes before appt and made good use of that time. Gas tank filled up. Prescriptions picked up. 3 boxes filled with declutteree items dropped off at our favorite charity thrift store.

After we leave here we will make 2 more stops before heading home. Dd15 has chosen whataburger and requested a shopping trip to Walmart.

Nancy - glad she is okay! ((((DD and totalled vehicle))))

A level must have clicked ON somewhere in dd15 brain. She picked out a dozen or so tops and several bottoms tonight. It has been impossible to get her to pick out new clothes until tonight. Plus some clothes are arriving in mail tomorrow that we ordered a couple days ago. WOW! Now I'm wondering if this is a one time event or if she will be willing to purchase clothes when needed. I wonder if she will be willing to go shoe shopping? She still is dead-set on only wearing the same pair of shoes. I ordered another pair of shoes EXACTLY like the one that she wears every single day and she did switch to wearing the new shoes.

I'm ready to call it a day. I switched the furniture in our bedroom around this morning. I am interested in seeing how the change affects my sleep.
