(((Harriet)))) I'm sorry you are the one most affected by these posting problems. I do appreciate all you are doing to alert the provider and web hosting site while working with them so closely. Thank you!
We had a success trip to the city but now I am feeling DONE.
** We went shopping for DH a new pair of shoes that fit the requirements of diabetics shoes. He is pleased.
** Two boxes and 2 sacks filled with decluttered items were dropped off at our favorite charity thrift store.
** The 5 of us met for lunch and lingered long afterwards. I gave a very generous tip to the waitress expressing our appreciation.
** DH prescription was picked up. I continue to be astonished at prescription not costing anything. In the past, this medicine cost $1,857.30 which most was covered by insurance but we had a copay of $105.00. Now there is no copay. The medication is entirely free to us. This change in prescription medication cost is saving us thousands a year.
** $189 of cold/frozen/fresh foods purchased
** $154 of curbside items loaded.
** vehicle filled with gas.
We arrived home to quickly unload everything and had 7 minutes to spare before leaving to pick DD15 up from school.

It worked 3rd try but then received a half dozen 503 errors so not a success

Re: Who inspires you Wednesday PWYC
LadyM -- was the change in rx cost related to a change in insurance or something else? My dmom is having a terrible time getting her inhaler covered by insurance. The pulmonologist gave me a list to show the pharmacist and see if he could find any that H*mana would be willing to cover, except for the powder that requires mixing and is NOT acceptable to dmom! I am going to ask at our local, privately owned drug store and at Wmart.
The nap never took place.
Y'all -- I stopped at a local food truck I'd been noticing recently. They always are parked across the street from the post office. I thought it was one of those flavored tea and lemonade things, but it was not. It featured acai bowls, smoothies, lotus drinks, and coffees. Lotus drinks??? I had never heard of such, but it was the cheapest thing on the menu and they had a pina colada flavored that contained "white lotus, pineapple, coconut, and cream." That sounded pretty good, and asked about the lotus flavor, and she said it didn't really have a "flavor," that it was a sort of energy thing, and it did provide caffeine, and it was also mixed with carbonated water. So I bought one. 20 oz (small) for $6.
I wasn't carried away with the taste, but it sorta grew on me... and I got home, planning to read the paper and take a nap before church.
Y'all.
* I washed two loads of laundry (including my sheets)
* hung the clothes to dry and put the sheets back on the bed (after church)
* s/s the bathrooms, INCLUDING cleaning up dh's shower which had a lot of mildew built up from the leaking shower head
* discarded dh's mouthwash bottles which had been sitting in his shower for two years and five months
* checked on the shampoo that had been there just as long and decided dgs could use it just as well as he could use my rx shampoo
* folded a load of dgrands' clothes and sorted out their drawers to send some clothes home -- I was getting too many things left here
* put two pairs of sweat pants in the donation bag
* typed up the list of medications to show the pharmacists tomorrow
* and went to church at 6:00 pm
* watched a long set of videos on sexual abuse and took the quiz for MinistrySafe, a new requirement for all church workers who are in the children's program, filled out consent for background check
-- It was like I was on speed, diet pills or something!
* OH -- and I must not forget to tell y'all, in the midst of all this flurry, I was following a text message thread for my Sunday School ladies. One of them was asking for help at Special Olympics Oct. 2, as we have done this before apparently, and this year, she was getting a ton of people explaining they would be out of town, etc. I finally felt guilty about ignoring it and I VOLUNTEERED TO HELP, WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO BE THERE AT 8:00 A.M.!!!
What was I thinking??? I don't function at 8:00 a.m.! I was high on white lotus, I guess. I wasn't even thinking about my sleep habits or my IBS problem that has been going on for a week or more. I just typed: I should be able to help.
I don't know what's in that white lotus drink, but it apparently made me lose my mind, and I cannot think of a SHEM at the moment.

Re: Who inspires you Wednesday PWYC
LucyLee, if your holly has berries and you want to have them this year, either for decorating for Christmas, or for bird food, then it would be best to postpone the pruning until spring. If it doesn't produce berries, or you don't mind losing them, then autumn/ winter should be fine.
