Wednesday Warmup
As we head down to the weekend, what things do you have to do to prepare?
Like an athlete going into a big game, we need to warmup before hitting our stride so easy stretches and routines will help us prepare for the heavy lifting of weekends.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
Today is relatively clear for me. Just choir at 1 and then a grocery run to the stores 15 minutes from here (either north or south I haven't decided) but aside that I'm at home.
My weekend is chock-full so I need to hit it running at full speed.
My temperature is still up a degree but I have more energy this morning and the weather may be raining at our walk time so I'm on the treadmill. I managed to walk 3 miles yesterday (to the church to turn on the heat and then back to the church and general store.) Harriet: There were several age 80+ people who needed drives home and the rest of the group didn't live anywhere near me (and I don't know them because they are from other churches in the other village - those from our village walked) so I didn't ask for a drive. Dh was going to walk me home (just over 1/2 mile) but then the fresh air felt good for my headache so I decided to push myself and walk the extra mile to the store. Slowly, hanging on to dh, but I made it.
Paperwork organization will be focus for the day. I need to get it organized so I break it down into bite sized pieces.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
Hmmm... warm-ups...
Well... I really need to do laundry. We'll be in college-town this weekend -- and I'm sorta looking forward to it. It'll be (most likely) the last win we'll have for the year, and they're honoring our first Heisman trophy winner, (Pat Sullivan) who is -- IMHO -- our symbol for all that is good & right in the world of sports... (and who just happens to be the coach of the opposing team).
But before that, I'm wondering when/if I need to go out to dmom's to help out a little there... and when am I going to finish grading papers... and when I am going to find time to start my Christmas shopping... and... well, my head's beginning to spin a little bit now. I better go s2s. (Obviously, I'm back-sliding today. Sitting here before s2s. * sigh * )

Re: Wednesday Warmup
Good Morning!
I woke up this morning feeling great! What a relief!
LO woke me up around 3am asking for sippy cup. I gave him some more 7up and he kept it down. His fever stayed down all through the night so I am hopefully the worst of this "bug" is over.
As soon as i know whether LO is back to normal, I'll make decision about today's doings. I don't want to be around other people if there is any chance of us being contagious. Library story time, time with DParents, time with DGS14, DGS16, GF, and attending church (including teaching the little ones) are all up to be cancelled today if LO shows any signs of being sick.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
LucyLee - Thank you for mentioning Christmas prep! It spurred me to pull down the box I have been collecting Christmas gifts in and going through what I have bought for whom. I ordered another gift from Amazon (one day gold box deal) yesterday and now I think I am in fairly good shape on gift buying. I am NO WHERE close to being finished, but I have ideas for the rest of them.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
I ended up with a good work-out, including almost all my floor exercises and I'm s2s. And still feel like I have energy so this is a good thing!
I'm having my tea and doing my light therapy now.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
It appears things are looking up in the village so that's good. OKay, I'm glad that bug doesn't seem to be a long one. I'm getting twinges of something even though I was sure I was over it. Suspecting it isn't a bug, but my own troubles I get if my fiber etc. isn't just what I need. I've been doing good with this for a long while, used to have more difficulties along this line. However, it's difficult staying active with a low-level cramping all the time. Drinking the apple/grape juice I'd gotten for DBaby started me down this path. And I knew better.
My Wed. warmup was to putter around doing basic cleanups mostly in the kitchen. I tend to think my puttering around isn't important, but sure makes a difference if I don't do it!
I have 1 gift bought for Christmas, and 1 gift in mind. I'm a long way from being ready!
Going to sew some today. In answer to Harriet's question yesterday, I haven't been able to sew at all because I've been busy and my hands are all dried up and peeling. Had to get that under control somewhat before starting.

Re: Wednesday Warmup
I'm slowly warming up for the rest of the week. Just finished breakfast so next up is to do the dishes. Want to clean out the car before going to lunch with dgd13 and dsisil. Promised dgd a lunch date at O G a r d e n. Her favorite. So far we're doing okay. (2 days in)
DH has gone to the flea market with dbil. Need to get moving here -been wasting too much time today with fewer responsibilities.
