It feels magical here to have ds home again. I think he was actually excited to get home - texted me a couple of times to check in while I was on the road. And was quite talkative for first 30 minutes or so. Round trip about 5 hours on the road. Glad I don't have to pick up dd.
Also glad to see Indiana's fingers coming around!

I am just too exhausted to post much tonight.
Dmom is STILL having a LOT of pain, and is dealing w/stomach upset, too. Virus? Maybe... too much pain meds, etc? Maybe... Who knows? She has doctor's appt tomorrow w/family doctor.
Last night we got a bunch of groceries for them...
Today's PODA:
* Drug store
* W*lmart
* Back to drug store, dfil's caretaker had forgotten he needed test strips for blood sugar
* Home, unload groceries
* CVS for dmom
* Supper @ home (chicken noodle soup)
* Out to dmom's... delivered meds, etc... printed check on computer for her... unloaded dishwasher/reloaded
* Post office for dmom
* HOME *
I am just past going. I think I'll get in the bed.

Nancy I'm glad magically your lights came back on!
Happy for you, Twins Mom.

Elizabeth, we've got to get you some frozen meals stocked up! My favs are Amy's brand because I have the feeling they are a little healthier.
I did my exercises, though I had to wait a long time for that chance because of extra care for my ddad. A second load of laundry was accomplished today. I need to firm up a vitamin order and get that in to take advantage of a sale.

Me too!
The house looks great!
Now to just keep it that way until Thurs.
Granny duty tomorrow afternoon.
Dgd fell asleep here after 4:30 here when we settled in the rocker and it was peaceful and restful!.

Re: Magical Monday
Yesterday the friend of dsonil who does drywall finally made it to the house to check the mold situation. He said that he can smell mold and that if it is present, he has trouble with his eyes and nose. He didn't have those reactions. He pressed on the ceiling and it didn't move. He said that if mold had penetrated the sheetrock, his finger would go through the ceiling. He suggested that dsonil go up in the attic and look. Dsonil did that today and took a camera. The drywall is the blue waterproof kind. There was no sign of mold. Meantime, I had called the loan officer and told her this. She suggested that dh should go up with dsonil. When I called dd2 about it, he had already done it. I had already talked to dh and he had agreed to do it. When he came home from work and I told him what dsonil had found, he said that he trusted him and did not feel the need to look for himself. Dh has finally decided that it is a go. Dh decided that we will gut that bathroom later this winter and redo the whole thing. He wants to have a bathtub size walk-in shower that he will tile. He will also tile the floor. We are buying a new vanity, top for it, mirror and wall cabinet to match plus a new toilet.
The bad thing is that starting Jan. 11, the plant will start a 6 week outage for repairs. Then testing will take a week or two after that. It will be almost spring by then. Dh will be working long hours and weekends. He has already warned me that I will have to be patient because everything we want done will take time. I will have to remind myself daily.
I am just hoping that we can get our house for sale within the next 3 weeks and that it will sell quick.
I am hoping with this move that I can get as organized and decluttered as Okay has gotten in the last year.
