Coming back through.

Yes, Thankful that Indiana is posting with us - dressed or not! (ducking and running...)

I am thankful that I have a job that covers my expenses! There are many other things I am thankful for, but right now, that is the top of the list.

I got everything on my list done last night. Tonight is Girls' Night Out with DD9. I made rice in case she wants to eat in. I will pick up egg drop soup at a restaurant and we can have her usual, only cheaper. Her previous favorite restaurant has fallen out of favor because she discovered pepper in the egg drop soup (it was always there). I don't know what she is going to want to do after dinner. I will suggest library. I absolutely need to remember to put the trash out to the curb. I forgot last week and it is getting full. Maybe I can find more stuff to put in it!

Peeking in to say hello. It's been a few days since I've visited here. Saturday we spent most of the day with dfam#2, Sunday was quiet, no company. Monday we had an early Thanksgiving with dfam#2 as they are going out of town to be with ddil's dparents. She brought the turkey and mashed potatoes, we made the rest of the meal. It was a nice afternoon.

I'm going back to cuop. Hope all is well with everyone! bbl

I am feeling kind of unproductive and at loose ends today, when I had hoped to get a lot done. We are in the middle of a thunderstorm and rain is pouring down, with Macs right under my feet. Just game him a Tramadol - we have a good supply for him because of his two surgeries and arthritis in his back legs, so I don't mind using one today if it helps him get through the storms easier.

A little worried about dd riding home with fellow student in the storms and rain.

Okay, now I am writing some procedures for making Paypal payments to the temple.

I went grocery shopping today before the big crowds tomorrow. I'm glad to get that done. We're going to our church Thanksgiving potluck on Thursday afternoon, so I have my items planned to cook tomorrow - baked goods- easy to bring and no last minute cooking involved. My DH will be cooking hot items on Thursday morning, so I'll be out of his way in the kitchen.

Waving hi to everyone. So good to see Indiana posting again - be well!

I finished that email and another matter, and synced my passwords, which are on my iPad and laptop computer. I'm updating software on my iPhone now also. Great mystery is that I'm not getting a voice mail notification on my iPhone but when I opened up iTunes after a sync I can see and hear it there.

Going to work on some more routines. Update says 10 more minutes so I'll start some clean up in the "office" room. Looks like T-storms are between us and K-town right now and dd wasn't to leave until 4:30ish, so they may sweep on through ahead of her. DMacs is still distraught.

Mission accomplished! Home from town. Groceries bought and put away. WM was packed and many of the shelves were showing signs of empty space! Many of the grocery aisles were so full that I edged in far enough to reeeeeeeached for the item I needed them backed out. Thankful to have a list in hand so I knew exactly what I was buying and no "shopping" was necessary. I was able to get everything except the hot rolls. No biggie. i was undecided whether I would make them from scratch or buy frozen yeast rolls - the empty shelves made that decision for me. :) I'll add mixing the dough to my Wednesday to-dos and it will be just fine.

This is my first full carb meal I have cooked in over 4 months. I am having to think about each carb dish more than usual to make sure I remember and have each ingredient to make it. Normally I keep all those type ingredients available however they were removed from the pantry inventory while we were focusing on losing weight.

Twins - hope the voice mail notification mystery clears up soon.

A couple days ago I started using Google Voice(GV) instead of Sprint voice message on my phone. I am soooo happy with GV!! Now I am wondering why I waited so long to switch over to it. I can't find any cons to it, but am enjoying a slew of pros in favor of GV.....and it is free!!

Well, I'll be dog-goned. The phone messages are there after the update. :)

Also figured out what I did that muted my phone last week. Since then it's only been vibrating. The difficulties of technology!

Syncing iPad now.

YIKES!!! Am I crazy? Since DD does not have school tomorrow and does have Girls' Night Out with me tonight, XDH suggested she stay overnight with me tonight and I deliver her to his house tomorrow morning. His house is less than a mile from mine, but I am NOT a morning person! I hope I survive this. At least I have her cereal for tomorrow and don't need to go shopping.
