Re: Super Saturday
Good Morning!
I am up and going strong. Had my bath & D2B, LOL going, early morning kitchen cards done. I've also enjoyed some quiet time with DGS14 and have him wrapped in a afghan in front of the TV with the Christmas tree (he decorated) lite up next to him. I know at 14 years old he doesn't NEED his Nana to wrap him up......but who doesn't like to be appreciated and fussed over just a little.
Now I've stopped to sip a cup of coffee and do some desk work (before LO wakes up). Of course, my fingers just migrate to this website first.
Back on task.....going to check and see what my next card is *POOF*

Re: Super Saturday
I'm up. Dh woke naturally after 8 hours. It took me 30 minutes to get out of bed after him but I'm on the treadmill now (and struggling along, I'm really stiff) and have a load of laundry on. The sun is out for the first time in ages so the sheets can get hung out to dry.
Today's projects:
Clean church (we are the caretakers for this month, yay no snow yet!)
Paperwork
Drive over to the Farmer's market and pick up a gift for dd.

Re: Super Saturday
I'm up, and will probably be at 'em after a cup of coffee or two. Meds are taken, kittens are busy annoying bigger cats (a couple of the foster kittens are out of the room at the moment), and I'm gearing up for another day at payroll. This is day five of five, and I'm really looking forward to my two days off. Aside from the usual housework and critter concerns, I need to get some serious organizing of Christmas presents done for the grandkids! The buying is all done....now I need to get it together and wrapped (before DGS comes over on Monday and sees it!)
And now that Mum called (yes, at 6:45am!) to confirm that a friend request on facebook was indeed someone from exh's family, I'd better go deal with my critters and get myself out the door!

Re: Super Saturday
bittersweet, your day at work yesterday sounded stellar.
Lynlee, great shopping day.
We are up and 1) morning routines are done incl for my ddad. 2) Outdoor chores next. 3) Morning Daily Card next.
Making notes for projects to follow - we have a bunch going on.
Progress from yesterday was that at WMart sure enough I had to redo part of photo order but lady was very efficient and smart and did it right away. In addition to WMart trip, dd and I hit Subway and did more shopping to net 4 presents, 2 of which are the ones due by 17th.

Re: Super Saturday
I'm up and S2BF. Today we will go to breakfast at the Activities Center and then go exploring. We don't know where we will go - just take a map and GPS and pick a road.
Yesterday, I was able to shelve all my books. I have 2 boxes for the library here - either duplicates or some I don't want.
Then we went to friend's house for dinner and played games. Neither DH nor I really like games but it was fun. Then another guest and I showed the hostess some things on her new Kindle Fire.
Time to find my shoes and sox and take my meds before we head out for breakfast.

MT - did you see the zits comic for today? It reminded me of a recent experience you had.

Re: Super Saturday
Gorgeous day here - I've been relaxing this morning! Later dh and I are going to a downtown festival; I'm supposed to meet him downtown in a couple of hours.
I think we have finally decided against making an offer on or pursuing the house we've been looking at. Both of us are hesitating and it's just not feeling right - at least not right now.
-clear kitchen counters
-reboot laundry
-make the bed
-do some more clean up in upstairs playroom

Re: Super Saturday
This is a super Sat. for me b/c I smiled when I clicked on the link Okay thanks for sharing that funny!
I think today is the day for the Santa parade down town at dusk br-r just glad we do not have to go to that!
Got good rest and my bs is great today so it's a super Sat. for me! KFC has a sale $10 for a small bucket and we can get several meals out of one. Told H. I"d been wanting some so we will stop next time we are out and about.
Remembered to give h. a back rub before I got up and started my day & I remembered to do some arm movements before I got up. Cereal day for me.
Once a week I get cereal and once a week h. gets eggs for breakfast!
My grats:
It's frosty out this morning here today glad the house is cozy and warm feeling grateful for the small things like hot coffee and heat in the house! Cookie dough in the freezer. Sun is in the forecast all week.

Re: Super Saturday
The day is sunny here (I think I already mentioned it but it is worth mentioning again!)
I put the laundry on the line and told dh that he had to put up the sensors for the new weather station while the weather was mild and fine. So we just finished that job (I had to spot the ladder.) While the ladder was out he checked the eavestroughs one last time. And we swapped the bbq tank for the freshly filled one so that we'll hopefully not have to swap out in the cold winter. The extra tank is in the shed and that is often iced shut.
Before all that, I ran out over to the Christmas market to get dd a gift. So that is done too.
Lunch time!
