If not now, when? Wednesday
Some people call it anti-procrastination day. Well, it's today. Whatever it is that you have been dreading, avoiding, repressing, or forgetting - it's time to do it!
I will be calling the store where I bought my washer and dryer and asking them to come back out and level the dratted things properly, which they obviously did not do when they delivered and installed them.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
I had some ta-das from yesterday but was too tired to CUOP and post last night:
-presentation at work went quite well - I ended up presenting/leading the discussion for over an hour and got lots of comments that I had done well
-Sent off my "column" for the temple bulletin at 6:30 yesterday a.m.
-had lunch w difficult temple board member, however, nothing resolved....
-Finished two very small tax returns at work and have three more nearly finished
-picked up groceries (otherwise, would have been w/o coffee this a.m.
-quick dinner out with dh
This has been busy week since Sunday and I'm feeling behind. I probably don't have enough work for a full day at work today, so I am going in late and catching up some here at home. I have a meeting at work this afternoon (rescheduled - the one where I'm there to document what was said to the client) and a temple board meeting tonight. I also need to do some prep for the meeting tonight and can make use of the anti-procrastination initiative! Also need to go through the info from builder and write down my questions, to add to dh's input so I can email designer.
First round:
-meds + vitamins (dogs already done)
-clear kitchen counters
-clear kitchen table
-bring down laundry from upstairs
-start a lol
and another round:
-take out paper/corrugated recycling
-put away a mega-basket of clean laundry
-make the bed
-refill meds containers
-27 pieces of paper

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Well, I've got the tax thing to fix today so that will be the focus of my day. And I see in my email that the rest of the reports for the Annual Report have arrived.
Slept ok last night. With so much on my mind, the night guard wasn't intruding, it would have been a rough night even without it. I noticed it in my mouth but it didn't keep me from falling asleep. I slept fitfully but I slept. At 4:30 I decided I'd take it out and have a good solid 2 hours of sleep but I still slept fitfully after removing it so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the cause of my disrupted sleep.
My jaw feels different today. One purpose of the guard is to adjust my bite and I can imagine it has had an effect already.
I'm up, s2s, did my light therapy and devotions (catching up on the ones I missed yesterday) and eaten breakfast. I didn't exercise - I had a hard time getting out of bed today so decided to put that off until later or until another day. There's a sign my back is acting up (I feel like I should strap my ankle because it is weak - that's a back issue) so maybe staying off the treadmill for a day will be a good thing. The sun is trying to shine. If it succeeds, perhaps I'll walk for the mail today instead.

I didn't sleep well, either. I don't know if I should be worried about DH or stay dumb and happy.
More than slightly ticked that Dr. office did not call yesterday. Torn about going out of town in case they do call.
Not sure what to do.
Think we will proceed as if we were going out of town tomorrow. In other words, go get groceries, mail, etc. and start packing the pickup.
Dr. is at local hospital today and it is on the way to groceries so I could stop and try to get answers. DH's pulse was going from 120 to 68 and a lot of numbers in between as we took it yesterday. What's up with that??
Just realized that I have a whopping headache. Think I will go make breakfast and take some Tylenol.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
((MT and Mr. MT)) hope you can get some answers today.
Have been meaning to comment that I also sleep with a night guard, and have been zealous about using it since the tooth pain started. I haven't ever liked it, tho - the previous ones that I've had fit over the bottom teeth and then the top teeth fit onto the top of the guard. The current one sits in the top of the mouth and hooks over some of my upper molars much like a partial would. It extended over my front four teeth so the lowers rest up against the guard and the back can't contact as hard. It gave me fits in the beginning because I get gagged easily, and with it again the top of my mouth I felt like I was gagging all the time. Dentist has taken some off of the top back to reduce the amount of material there and I can mostly stand it now.
Wanted to comment also that filling last week did not stop the pain I was experiencing - I'm wondering now if it is a facial neuralgia. The pain has not gone away completely but has been reduced, so I'm playing wait and see.
Another round:
-call office to let them know I'm late!
-reboot laundry
-agenda for meeting tonight, start making my notes
-change out front door to valentine wreath
-hot kitchen counter clean up

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
(((MT))) and (((Mr.MT))) I hope you can get some answers soon. The unknown is so hard to deal with, especially when related to health.
Dh is still home. He's a little better, but he needs to continue to recover. It is almost like he has influenza, because he has the severe body aches along with the cold like symptoms. We had our flu shots on Sept. 29, which at the time seemed a little early.
I need to continue working on the other house. Yesterday I realized the hot water had a yellow tint to it. I am assuming it's because it hasn't been used much. So I ran it until the hot water had ran out. Later in the day, I filled my big tub with hot water and it was clear then and turned on the jets. I need to do that again and run bleach through it to clean it.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Trying to decide how to make the most of what time I have left. I would really like to take my ddogs for a little walk - the vet suggested it last week for dMacs and it's a nice day so far. I need to leave here about 11:45 and will drop off dry cleaning and get gas on the way. I'm going to take my salad lunch to eat at work, I think. Also need to s2s before I go so that pushes get ready time to 11:00ish, only about 30 minutes away.
This round:
-reboot laundry
-Throw on clothes and take ddogs out
-put together salad lunch

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Twins that would make me gag too. Mine is just moulded plastic and fits over my upper teeth. It is an open semi-circle so my tongue has full contact with the roof of my mouth. Aside from pushing my teeth slightly, it really doesn't make itself known in an intrusive manner. In fact, when I took it out in the night, I kind of missed it! The dentist says some of his clients probably don't need their guards every night but the guard is like a 'Linus blanket' for them and they can't sleep without it. I sense I'll be that sort of patient! He also said it was for night wear but if I found myself clenching in the daytime I could use if if I wanted. His wife wears hers while driving because she used to get headaches from clenching while driving.
I phoned the government and found out what I have to do. I'm trying to live by the mantra, "it is not a problem if money solves the issue" but it is a lot of money I owe. I'll have to apologize profusely to dh. Luckily, I think he made a similar sized mistake last month so we are both imperfect. Of course, he can just work harder to increase revenue. I don't generate money for our company so he'll be the one that has to work harder to overcome this error.
Our upcoming travel complicates things further. I'm going to have to guess at how much the penalty will be and send that into the government with a note because I won't get the formal bill until after I'm away.
I think I might go out to lunch today to reward myself for facing the problem head on. I should eat hard tack and water as penance but I can't because of my jaw!

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Well, it seems like the thing I had been putting off is coming down with something flu-ish. My husband has brought me tea and sympathy after I barfed my breakfast.
