s2s make coffee x bs was up.
No jury duty for h. this week.
We’ve had winds and rain the snow has receded a lot in the last 24 hours. They might be having an effect on the wireless availability I’m experiencing here this morning.
36*-47* / windy for our temp. range & forecast here today.
Granny duty was until nine last night as the other granny was not available we had fun;
dgd said she wanted to stay here but went home with her parents. She is back here now for the day. Her other grandpa is going to the heart specialist with her dad on Thurs. not sure if we will watch here on Fri. yet so there is the possibility that we will need to be more available this weekend as well.
We've fed the birds & squirrels on the deck.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Good morning! I survived Girls' Night Out, we ate Chinese out then watched movies at my house. After that, I just did my nightly routine (cat care + Bible reading + get things ready for tomorrow) then went to bed. Tonight the pet sitter comes at 6, so I should clean up the toys in the living room and empty and fill the dishwasher. I also need to take in the trash cans. The check from the house may be in the mail tonight.

((Lynlee)) I hope there's no actual damage to your place, although it sounds like there is clean-up work for sure. Hope your shopping areas get back to normal quickly.
cathyy and Lilac - check to see if there is much influenza in your area and you'll have another clue as you ponder this. I think we can find it online here, but interestingly the regional newspaper had an article and says we are having a very light influenza year here. However, they mentioned that the actual peak is usually February.
Emptynester, you are not the stay-dumb-and-happy type. Is Mr. Emptynester on any supplements for the circulatory system, like Ubinquinol?
((Twins Mom)) I hope the pain eases. Good job on your presentation - bet you are an interesting speaker. Here I am trying to impress upon dd13 that one does not say "uh, um" in public speaking and would be better off pausing! Of course, age appropriate, she thinks it's worse to pause.
I have been diligently housecleaning. Played with cards.
Played with Household Notebook.
FOUND! (Thank you, office-week Focus) Delighted to report I found the DVD record, with labeled paper sleeve, of a family reunion plus images of family photos, lost for 2 years (just my copy was lost). Amazing! My desk has a sliding keyboard surface, and many times I've dusted and cleared that, and pulled it all the way out and cleaned the surface under it, which is only a foot wide on one side of the desk. Evidently, sliding ALONG WITH the surface, underneath and between, in a space less than 1/4-inch high, has been this DVD. It was sandwiched so effectively because of the cinched plastic bag my cousin had put it in when she gave it to me. It had just enough bulk and traction to be caught there and never "ejected"!
I would never have believed there was anything there - every time I looked, there wasn't! Magic trick!

I haven't caught up yet.
I just wanted to say a slid back a little and I'm working on getting back to where I was.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Always feels good to retrieve something lost, right?!
I've lost my mind over this sewing project. Completely and totally.
So sorry to read so many of you have health issues and dental issues. Wish I could send some healthy vibes into the village. We've been lucky so far. (except for the cavity in my mouth, and that would be my procrastination.....)
(OKay, LO, Lilac, Indiana, and whoever else not feeling A+ also our dental ladies..)
Went to bank then to W-M. We were out of paper products and shampoos and soaps and household cleaners to the tune of $50 bucks. I got valentine cards for 2 households and 1 for here and a birthday card and stopped at another place for a gift card. Valentines are signed by grandpa and grandma and addressed for later; birthday card is in the mail. For once I'm not going to be late.
Big pickup in the kitchen, living room, desk area. We have someone from church coming tonight. I picked up coffee creamer at the store and I've made iced tea, and bought a package of nice crackers. Sally Homemaker here

((((MT and Indiana)))) Keep fighting for answers. I know you are excellent at it!
We continue on our slow pace to feeling better. I am following cards as if they were a life line. Just do the next card....repeat...repeat

I am in the middle of generating a software verification document. The verification has been done and works, now it is just a matter of writing it up. I am in hurry up and wait mode, part of it is printing to PDF. I cannot get it to print the way I want it. Bleah.

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
We did get a walk in dgd & I enjoyed it even though it was a bit blustery here today. But at least the sun is out and it's 53* so the snow is 99% gone here now.
Went to the library w/ dgd and she had fun looking at books too I got some for her a DVD and
checked out the one I'd requested that came in.
Harriet I've been meaning to mention that I've been enjoyed "Big Bang" reruns and new shows as they come out. I did not get it until I watched some of the first ones again now it's really funny!

Re: If not now, when? Wednesday
Hello! How has it gotten to 5:15 pm already?
I'm sorry to hear several of you and loved ones are not feeling well. ((MT and Mr. MT)) I hope the heart rate evens out. ((cathyy)) Not fun! ((Indiana)) I didn't see that she had posted today, so maybe there is something from yesterday that I missed.
My Day:
-part of a.m. routine
-took my car to the garage with dh
-worked a little on Hebrew
-printed out bus schedule so I could take the bus home after class
-dh dropped me off at my class a little early, 10:50; he had been working at home
-more time for reviewing and finishing an article
-class 11:30 - 2:30
-walked to bus stop; waited 15 minutes for a bus that didn't come. Didn't see my bus number's schedule at the stop and vaguely remembered the schedule was dated 1/29/12 onward. Vaguely remembered thinking we were past 1/29/12. The pages of the schedule we had printed out did not have the dates on it.
-decided to start walking home at 3:08. I had forgotten my nice warm hat, so my ears started getting cold. Realized I was not going to make it home in time to go to dd13's synchro. swimming "meet" (show) at 3:45
-called ds at 3:30; he came and picked me up
-had a quick snack (I was starving by this time) and chatted with ds and dd16
-took ds' car - or our car that ds drives - and went to the synchro. meet late; got there at 4:05
-watched the girls exhibit their skills until about 5:00
-went home
And that was my day! Not much time for weeklies or other cleaning.
I'll be out and about tonight too.
Now, I'm going to start dinner so dd13 can eat before going to youth group tonight, which she wants to go to, even though the 2nd half of her algebra final is tomorrow. She is not stressed and felt the first half went well. We should make sure she is prepped, though.
Supper is yummy - but very caloric. Pasta in a sauce of bacon, cream, parmesan, and fresh basil. This was dh's idea for a meal this week. I'll add a salad to that and dh is picking up some dinner bread after his run. I will try hard to get in a jog at the gym tonight to offset the calories; I'll also do my best to keep portions under control.
