Back from the store got my pills and other Rx's forgot to get the pens I wanted to get it was SO busy I forgot I was trying to hurry bc h. was hurting from working today. Did not make it to the thrift store this time.

Off to bed early. Did get a list of hymns typed up for the musician. It is our congregation's 150th anniversary this year and she got into her head to only do hymns from that era. So we are going through the hymnbook looking for ones that fit. One of hymnbooks from the Free Methodist church is about 50% from that era so my list (I'm to do 1/3 of the hymns from the index) is quite long.

Harmony, every entity that can scrutinize food plants does scrutinize them. There are local, state and federal inspections that can get a plant shut down if things aren't right. The scary recent events in products having to be pulled off shelves, and deaths because of cleanliness issues, etc., are changing the inspections and making them tougher. Especially federal, where the inspector can be disgraced or prosecuted if he/she passes a plant and somebody dies from something that should have been caught.

But the really rough inspections are the industry ones and the customer ones. If your plant doesn't get good numbers from your own industry's inspectors, you have no leverage to try to win customer contracts. But then when you have contracts with big outfits like the military or a large store chain, they have the right to come in and inspect too, and can be very tough. A plant can lose a contract that is their lifeblood even if their recent government inspections went fine, because they blew it when the grocery chain's inspectors surprised them. And then, if it's a multi-plant business, there are the days the corporate guys show up - they may barely know what they are doing, but if they catch something going wrong they make a reputation.

That was definitely more info than you asked for. We live with this kind of discussion, though. When I purchased at a deli counter recently and was walking away, dd said, "That guy wasn't wearing a beard guard - their sanitation rating could get cut."

I've exercised and the Evening Daily Card is done well. Today I made a master schedule for laundry - main loads, regular mini loads and seasonal mini loads. Happy Weekend everyone!

I bet you thought you would never hear this, but the house is ready for pictures. I have 2 monitors, 3 computer towers, a VCR and 2 outdated D ish boxes to take to recycling next week. Everything is still on the walls. I had intended to leave it until the house sells, but have decided to take it all down and drag it over here. I have a small pile of stuff in the garage to bring over. Dd2 is going to take pictures this weekend.

When dd2 bought this house, there was a huge chest freezer that the lady left. When we decided to buy it, they didn't want to move the freezer, so we were going to give them our upright. Dd2 told me tonight that her dh wants to buy a chest freezer. So now we need to decide if we want to move it, sell it with the house, ask dd1 if she needs it, sell it or donate it. I think dh is leaning towards leaving it, unless dd1 needs it.

We are planning to have an open house next Sunday. Dd2 has really been watching the local real estate. She said there is only 1 house in our price range and it has been for sale for months. Plus, there is nothing that can begin to compare to dhs garage. I am hoping the right person comes along so we can put this behind us.

I am wore out, so better head to bed.

I've got the lawn mown which is nice. Its stopped raining here, but the floods elsewhere are devistating to many. The west is awash.
