(OKay) thinking about you giving up your smart phone.... we certainly could have more technology around here. But we fear that might keep us from doing actual work. We don't even text. My phone receives but doesn't send because key pad doesn't work well. DH's does work and people are starting to get him that way.

I just don't know about all this technology. I have some relationships that because of technology there is no personal contact or very little. A couple of us have problems keeping up with others on our committee who live their lives by their Ipads. I really wish life wasn't so complicated.

I'm struggling to keep going around here. Deep cleaned 1 bathroom, still a few things to do in there. Sheets aren't dry yet, I'll give them another half hour. I got up on 6' ladder and cleaned outside ceiling fan on back porch. Yuck that was bad. I don't feel 100% steady on ladders any more so I usually put that job off.

Got DH out the door to his county meeting. Poor guy came dragging in and off to a 3-hour meeting. I hope he doesn't fall asleep there. No time to eat so he went on his way with travel mug of ice water and p b sandwich in a bag. He really is struggling to keep going these days. We are such different people than we were a few years ago. We're both shocked and dismayed at how hard life is at this age. :(

Everyone seem to have had Positive things happening today. Mine....I got an email last night from a former coworker saying she had a folder that belonged to me and did I still want it. (It had a couple of emails to me and a few pictures in it that I had brought to work to show someone. As I set it on our counter it slipped in the crevice between two cabinets, in 2006!) She said I could pick it up or she could bring it to me, so I emailed her back saying we would be shopping there in a couple of days and would pick it up. We took a ride this afternoon and I'm glad to have it back. The company had done an extensive remodel in the whole store last year and had changed the counters, etc. in the photo lab. She wasn't there at the time so I just sent her another email thanking her for keeping it for me.

Nancy, you always see interesting things on your walks.

Harriet, hope your family is able to get more rest tonight. I told dh about the British label and he said "...isn't that the way it's supposed to be???" He was kidding, of course; he does his own laundry most of the time. I told him not to stop doing his laundry!

OKay, sorry to hear about your dh's daunt. Now seems like a good time to change your phone capabilities. You can always add those extra things back in if you need them.

Harmony, most folks are slowing down and thinking retirement, not trying to keep going! Hope you both get some good rest tonight! As well as others here who haven't been sleeping too well lately!

Dh just brought us each a loaded baked potato from Wendy's for supper. I'm going to make a pot of tea to go with, and we'll have no sugar added apple pie for dessert.

This was supposed to have posted hours ago!

Today was Errand Day and dd and I left with a master list of 5 locations, sorted by closing times and perishables. We were very efficient. Bank (inside teller), Pharmacy 2, P.O.(3 chores there), library (2 chores there), grocery.

Right, Sunny, here HRH had similar quips!

G'night, all!
