Did you set your clocks ahead Sunday

It's that time of year again for lots of us. DH said he'd set ours all ahead. NOT. The one I was looking at said 7:13 but it was really an hour later. Now we're pushing to get ready for church. So -posting and running. BBL

Good morning! My iPad, which I use as a bedside clock, reset itself automatically - the issue is with all the other things that don't reset. DH has gone out to play tennis, so I'm going to hunt up the paper and read it first.

Today I need to do laundry and spiff up the house, and hopefully catch a nap. We got in at 11 (old time) last night from the party - had a lovely time. I felt okay about what I wore - some were even more dressed down. Got a glowing report from a friend who knows the director of the K-town Hillel saying that dd is wonderful - attending Shabbat services and responsible and involved with Hillel and working with programming.

On to the newspaper - this always seems like such a short day!

Quiet morning in the village. I'm going to get some breakfast and get going:
-breakfast and meds
-clear kitchen counters
-start dishwasher
-start a lol
-straighten family room

AH!! the joy of living in AZ. Our clocks don't change - BUT - we have to add and subtract in our heads for all the other time zones.

I'm not sure what we are going to do today. Our friends are back living in their RV in our driveway. We sat around and talked a lot yesterday until I got antsy and decided to use the Rhino to pull out a small agave plant. The problem is that I didn't pull it out but off. It broke at the ground so now I have to figure out how to get the root out.

I think we are going up the hill to church - so first job is to get this old bod ready. So I'm off to the shower. TTFN

Good morning!

I came up short on time this morning and didn't make it to church. I am listening online to previous church services since I am missing group worship this morning (I will listen to it later). DH and LO were able to make it out the door on time with their hands full. They took 2 dozen of the cinnamon rolls to give to a VDFriend. I've also packaged the last 2 dozen to take to my DParents and DMIL later today That leaves 2 cinnamon rolls for us to finish off today. That is the last of DH birthday celebration food.

I've been up since the normal sunshine/old time since my ddad was. HRH has just crawled out of bed - we were up quite a bit in the night and he's obviously still sleepy. I've set all the clocks. I need to think about my own breakfast. Church is not an option for us today because the household will have to prove to us that it is settled before either HRH or I leave the other, but I have found the local Presbyterian broadcast.

Twins Mom, tell what Hillel is? It's great dd is now able to be an asset to her new community at college. Editing to say it was a given that she was going to put her effort into it and that report speaks well of her. Both blessedw2 and I have had a daughter have to throw her hands up at a community surrounding a college (Wash DC for my dd32), then later find a beneficial community at another campus. So happy for dd that your family obviously hit on the right choice for her from the start.

I will emphasize getting dd13 ready for school week today. Laundry of darks will help her. Her room may need an in-depth evaluation. smiling but it's not worth an emoticon, I'm too tired. Eventually I will have to nap.

Oh, OKay is working. Maybe I can join her and feel a little inspiration. I will not move fast enough to see difference in 3 minutes, though. That will get me to a room with time to blink at it.

Re: Yesterday funeral home visitation - Yes, we were the only ones at funeral home. I'm not sure what it is like in other countries/areas, but the funeral homes around here open the doors for about 16 hours daily and anyone can come/go. Being alone at funeral home allows us to say our private good-bye to DH DAunt without any social interaction. I have attended some funeral visitation with a set time that the family will be present to greet the visitors, but many don't since close families and small town friends see each other frequently anyway. DH family was together a week ago for other DAunt funeral and will all be together again most of the day on Tuesday for meal, funeral and grave site services.

I slept in and it looks like my meals are going to be off schedule today sigh oh well.
I woke up way early but had a head ache so went back to bed. ~sigh~ But at least my head is better sinus stuffy a bit we have clouds and rain here today day. H. set the clocks ahead, except for my watch I need it on the old time one more day so I can tweak my p/m dose of meds. I'll change it tomorrow. I did not manage to get it in the adjustment phase early like I have done in the year's past oh well!

It's raining outside God is watering my new roses for me today. I put some on them yesterday
by hand as the hoses are not out yet. We have more God watering in the forecast for the rest of the week here.

I've been enjoying reading your post ladies! Waiting a week on church as we were there last week and I'll be among those of you watching a service on TV. Sigh drat I can't get the live one to load. Got it yea just in time!

Crocheting in hand for the white puppet I am working on I've been reading posts.

Moved the patio stuff in outta the rain.
Breakfast is done just in time for lunch.

Well, I had barely finished those five small tasks when dh suggested we go to the house because he needed to meet with a client later - so we went off to the new house. He's been by there pretty often but it's interesting to me to see the progress week by week. I think they will be pouring the slab this week.

When I got back, my momentum was gone and I wanted a nap, and just now woke up. At least two hours of lovely napping.

Harriet, Hillel is the organization for college Jewish life. It's non denominational and exists on many campuses. Small chapter at K-town a Jewish population at school is small.

I'm going to make an iced coffee - right now feeling so sluggish I'm having trouble typing - both my mind and my fingers. Then....back to work...

Wow, the village is quiet today! Still on first page.

I am still feeling sluggish. There's plenty to do here but I am going to put on my walking shoes and take the boys for a short walk.

Back from walk and not wanting to post a SHEM. Going to cool off for a minute, then:
-put away a large basket of clean laundry
-straighten up in MBR and bath
-reboot laundry (start a load of delicates)
-get the beast (Macs) outside for a brushing
-(maybe) sweep garage
