THINKING TUESDAY

For me it's 'thinking' about everything I need to send home with dh. Leaving shortly for our walk, dropping dh off at his db's to work on neighbor's porch, going to church for a meeting, back to DBIL/DSIL's, take dh to H arbor F reight, pick up gd and then home. Then it will be time to drag out the suitcase etc.

Someone was burning last night and it really was bothering me. Got up about 1 and spent the rest of the night in the recliner just to be able to breathe.

Go easy on yourself, LucyLee -you've had a tough week. You didn't know that, right? So glad your ds was able to be such a large part of your dfil's funeral!

Thanks, Dee. In some ways, it seems like we have gotten through all this amazing well. But then I think, no, it's not amazing -- it's just that LOTS of people are praying for us, and that is giving us the strength to deal with the things that come up and the emotional issues everyone has at a time like this. DH is doing well, from all I can see. I think God just blessed him with acceptance in those last 24-36 hours.

Today I thinking, "How can I manage to simply stay AWAKE for the next 18 hours???" * whew *
I can manage one night of no sleep pretty well. Sunday night, I probably got about 3 1/2 -- 4 hours. Last night, maybe 5 hours... but it's beginning to wear on me now.

Good Morning!

I'm celebrating finishing up the tax prep by going FISHING today! I have such great memories of laying on the bank and soaking up the sun while listening to nature. I do know that memory probably won't be what happens today because there is always extra adventures when caring for a 3 year old near water. Whatever happens will be fine with me. Who knows.....those lazy relaxing fishing memories could be replaced with something even better! The excitement level is high as I look forward to dropping that first hook in water.

I'm staying on schedule (as much as possible) this morning until we leave so most all cards should be completed which will just increase my feelings of celebrating! I do know that having a huge stack of completed cards is always a reason to celebrate.

Thank you for good thoughts yesterday. I'm feeling better. Last evening I ended up in a headache and pouting that no one was available to take care of me, so HRH got me warm washcloths for my forehead and hot cocoa, which was very sweet but the cocoa was sickening to me so I didn't drink it but just held it close. Dd watched a bit of tv with me and replaced the washcloth once, but I went on to bed. They did the kitchen, which was a relief this a.m. Unfortunately, everyone fed Tobias. But that's not the worst thing that could happen. He does need to watch his figure, though.

I need to do some THINKING today, yes. I have been avoiding some difficult DPC/decisions/info-hunting. Also way overdue calling a cousin who probably thinks I'm awful.

Today I need to wash my ddad's linens and wash a load of darks. General pick-up is needed.

I'm up, but not really at 'em yet, even though I'm already on my second cup of coffee. This morning's "must do" (other than critter care) is to put the kitchen to rights, and clean off the top of the fridge. There's supposed to be someone coming to have a look at the fridge, but knowing these folks, I'll be calling as soon as the office opens to make sure. Assuming I get those two tasks completed before the maintenance man shows up, I'll put in a little sewing time.

Since I have three days off (and stuff to do both in and out of the house every single one of them), I'd like to get some more pictures taken of Jiggs in the hopes of putting together a 'please adopt me' package.

Alright! I'm off to clean some litter boxes, wash some dishes, and sort some papers....although I'd much rather be fishing with OKay and LO!!

Good morning. It is still cool here, we have windows open. I'm loving this extra bit of coolness we've had the past couple days. Pretty soon it will be A/C 24/7.

OKay, catch a big one! I'm working on my fish quilt. I will think of you today.

Harriet, for sure Tobias didn't meow "Oh, that's ok I've already eaten.." I hope you have an easier day.

My laundry is all caught up. Washed that is. I must put away the towels, remake 2 beds; fold 2 loads that are hanging in laundry room and in one big basket. No desk chores; I walked some checks out to the mailbox.

Trip out later on to help DH get auto parts and move a truck. He worked on the explorer yesterday and we need some sort of part installed on the rocker arm or stabilizer bar or something. I have an appointment to go to church at 1:00 to help with a mailing. We got almost 2 Million $ in pledges for our new church and that isn't enough so the campaign continues for a bit.

I'm up trash is out to the curb. H. is making excellent progress that I can see now that we are getting the empty boxes out of the storage zone! Amazing what a diff. it makes moving out
the boxes in that corner. He's been getting rid of his parents papers and some of it is even his
grand parents a difficult task [sort of explains a melt down he had the other day] of course there are some of the papers that need to be kept; we talked about it over dinner last night he grilled tuna it was good.

My bs was up a bit again today sigh so I took my meds. and am waiting to eat having my coffee while I wake up. The sun is out and looks lovely out this morning.

Yesterday I did not make much progress on the last few dreaded chores figured I was due for a rest day after the weekend. Granny duty this afternoon so if I get any done today it will have to be this morning.

I remember when I was growing up one of my friends had to play out side b/c their mom did not want them to mess up the house I'm SO glad I'm not like THAT! ROFL!

Good morning everyone! I was overambitious in my planning for last night. I completed all shopping/errands, found out the last bit of info for my visa, unclogged the usable bathtub drain, and determined the crocet project for tonight. Instead of cereal, I had soup and peanut butter crackers for dinner. I did not have time to spray for weeds and I did not update Quicken or work on desealing the bathtub. I had trouble getting to sleep. I have been volunteered to get a cat information table together for an animal event, wasn't anticipating that. Now I am going to put that last bit of info into the visa request and print it, then get back to payroll tasks.

I am NOT a happy camper!! I just called the office here to make sure the maintenance guy would be coming this morning to see about the fridge, only to find out that the phones are still forwarded to the complex down the road (she didn't know they were, as our manager didn't call to let her know), and she has no clue what's happening about the maintenance guy. An email was sent to our office yesterday, but we're not sure where the staff have gone (this isn't usual), so she's going to see if they can send their maintenance guy instead. I told her that it's NOT acceptable that I have no working fridge, and I need this dealt with asap! I'm not angry with her, but the situation is VERY frustrating!!

Since there's nothing I can do about it, I'm going back to finish my dishes...the litter boxes are cleaned, and the fridge is totally cleared off. If I don't hear anything by the time the dishes are done, I'll start on cleaning out the fridge. We took a bunch of stuff out of it yesterday, but there's more to deal with, and all the shelves, etc need wiping down.
