No time to think for me, today.

Got up, skipped exercising, got s2s, ate, sheets hung out on the line.

Picked up neighbour and took her to the doctor's appointment. Returned her home.

Drove back into town, had an early lunch then did my volunteering at the Resource Centre. Fixed their computer, un-jammed the printer, added 12 books to the library and read over the recommendations to be voted on at the upcoming meeting. They are to close down the library. Sigh... I could have save myself a lot of time today if I had read those first!

Picked up groceries, came home, put away groceries, started dinner.

Now I'm heading off for a walk, then having dinner, followed by a church meeting tonight.

Dgd & I have been playing in the play house today we found the Easter eggs; and the basket for collecting them so we've done our first egg hunt already!

This is a sunny afternoon here today and we are enjoying it.
H. got to pick out some ice cream this time not my fav. mocha w/ choch. in it but his bday week, dgd & I got strawberry and it only has 16 carbs. per serving in it so that was good to know and it's yummy!

How long does it take a toddler to make a house look -? 20 min or less! LOL!
Next up home work duty when dgson gets here until then story time with dgd

Thinking Tues. H. was thinking of getting up only an hour before the Realtor tour begins;
I said we needed to get up earlier than that to have time to stage first so my thinking seemed to make the most sense glad we thought about it.

Flower planting in progress. So far 42 flower planted with many many more waiting. LO need to do #2 (is that TMI???) so we are in the house on a "break".

Been cuop -actually I'm "Procrastinating" -have a project to do for dh that involves lots of typing. Really have to get it done and 'proofed' so he can take it home with him on Thursday. DH & DD have gone for a walk around the lake. See how things go with gd and me. Of course if needed, her ddad is in the shop. I need a scripture verse that I can go in our room and focus/meditate on whenever anything comes up with her. What we're supposed to be doing is ignoring behaviors which I can do unless actually 'attacked' and that's often. Either verbally or by insinuation and actions. Then it's just easier to go to our room for a while. We try hard to reward her for 'good behaviors' but that doesn't happen very often -rarely is more like it.

DSisIL's dsis asked us out for dinner tomorrow night. Hate to go this close to dh leaving but understand her wanting to do this. So we're meeting dbil/dsil for breakast and then going out for dinner (early) with dbil/dsil & her dsis. Works out okay with dd because she takes gd to Wed. night youth group at church and gets home about 8:30. We should be here before then.

Okay, I've delayed long enough -off to type dh's papers.....

Attempting to work/live to a schedule has been a help to me to change mindset.
A little play acting seemed to help.
just read that Pam of P&P pretended her home was a Park Ave Penthouse the first time she was fixing it up.

Yesterday I went to paint store to see about paint and prep. I want to start with a wall where the downpipe needs reattaching. Theres a lot needs doing though.
Nope - thats big picture looking and I need cast my eyes narrower to just do (make that DO) one next thing.

Highly unusual - I just finished an actual novel. Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Dd13 read it last quarter for a part of her goal. It's the first one I've read too since Hound of the Baskervilles. I highly recommend it, very exciting and smart adventure that's part international intrigue, part high-tech fantasy.

I did call my dcousin. That probably took 1/2 hour, but it's accomplished and I feel less guilty! I now understand there's another dcousin who is saying she must call me to talk a while, too.

Dstepson did fix the sink, thank goodness, without having to buy anything. However, he wants to work on our master toilet next, which cost me $25 so he can go get parts. My instinct is that it will actually cost more and he's not telling me, but that was the best info I could get from him. Before he left he started up the tractor and went to my ddad's and mowed there. He also worked on the Explorer a bit. He left the grass in front of the door unmowed because he said it suddenly dawned on him he might set off the alarm. I could have reassured him it is much more concentrated a beam than that, but I realize he was trying to keep me from having trouble. Unfortunately, now the very area anyone will want to walk across is the area unmowed.

Dd13 got an email from her sister, traveling in the mountains between college teaching venues. She says she is missing her "babies". She says we might expect them to visit either the first or second weekend of April.

Granny duty is over and I've been reclaiming rooms, basement is done.
Creativity room is too.
Dinner is done dishes are rinsed but need put away.
Bath room needs a bit more attn.
Bit by bit I'm making progress so there will not be so much in the morning to do.
We are supposed to have rain so don't know how much on the deck we will be able to do.
Dgd #1 & #2 called h. to wish him a happy bday during dinner so that helped him, dson called and dd chatted a bit and invited us over for a visit so tomorrow is booked.

Bittersweet, I hope you get a nice new refrigerator asap. The one time I rented an apartment my refrigerator broke and she got me a new one, but it was smaller and the freezer was lame, it had no shelves. May yours be shiny, brand new, and wonderful!

Harriet, your DSson sounds very helpful and nice to you guys.

Church mailing took 45 minutes. We will be doing that every month. Went round the gas station and filled up. Yikes! I had to go back to auto part store for DH after church because first time he forgot his coupon for 15% off. It had come in the mail, but clerk was surprised, hadn't seen any of them. Anyway, $3.00+ on new strut arms for explorer which DH installed.

I helped him with wiring difficulties on big truck. I went out there and he had my quilt pins sticking out of all his wires and was testing them with a test kit . Finally I offered to crawl underneath (he doesn't crawl around very well any more) but thankfully he peered under and found a light socket not working. Anyway, glad that's all done.

Working on my quilt tonight.
