Oh What a Beautiful Morning - Wednesday

Post by Indiana »

Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Everything's going my way.

When Jake and I were on our walk this morning I thought of this song.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful morning and day and that everything is going your way.

How has it been so far?

I'm up early for the time zone. But couldn't go back to sleep.

Trying to figure out family reunion that was just arranged vs club commitment made last fall. I think family comes first.

To update as I just realized I haven't posted for a few days. Twisted my good knee on Sunday night and spent Monday with it wrapped, elevated and iced. Tuesday I could work out doors in short spurts. We got 4 agave and a palo verde tree trimmed. Trailer is now officially full and will be taken to transfer station on Friday morning with help of neighbor.

While trailer is taken to dump, I will pull the agave I pulled last week to a place where they can be loaded. But tomorrow I will pull them to where the yard is sandy (vs where there are decorative rocks) and wash the sand off the roots to make them easier to load.

DBro is coming out this weekend. DH's back is feeling better. He still can't bend over to pick up things, but if I load them into Rhino he can throw them in the trailer.

I have several huge prickly pear cacti in bloom now. They have to be removed from the yard at some future date, but I can't do it while they are blooming - it just seems too cruel. Sunday's blog will be more of yard progress and blooming cacti all over the park.

Well, back to planning this summer's trip.

8-) Sun might make an appearance here today keeping fingers crossed for that.
Today we are up early to get ready for Realtor's tour at nine.
The weather seems to be co-operating so that is good.
I've spiffed up the living room.
Got the kitchen last night.
Floors are next
bathrooms too.

Q.T. is done.
Going to work breakfast in as well.
Coffee is done.

I discovered I need to get a Rx of one of my pills so figured out what we will do this morning. Have a great day everyone.

Indiana, any morning is a beautiful morning when you can open for us! That you have regained your health radiates thru your posts.

MT, I have enjoyed your progress as you continue working your landscaping improvements. I am sure that your neighbors are enjoying the improvements also.

Hoping to get something done around here today. Yesterday between errands and 2 rounds of babysitting, my day was unproductive. I watched dgds while dd2 shopped for a dress to wear to the cheerleaders banquet. Then later I watched the 4 younger kids while dd2 and dgd15 went to the banquet. Dsonil was unable to go. He had helpers to help him preggo check cows. They were supposed to do it last Thursday and it rained. Yesterday was the only day he could have help. Dd2 spent countless hours working on a video of the jv cheerleaders year to show last night. Then she made copies for each girl.

I showed the house Sunday afternoon and they were really interested. He called Monday night and had been to the bank. He said he would have papers for me from the bank yesterday and would call. Didn't hear from him, so we'll see if that is the end of it.

Good morning! It surely is beautiful here, not a cloud in the sky. It is cool still, too.

I am doing a general pick-up around here. Nice to see Indiana opening.

My LOL is ready for hanging up. BBL

Happy Birthday, Nancy's dh!

Ouch! Emptynester, hope you heal quickly!

Laughing at Harmony checking electrical current with quilting pins. That WOULD work, though, probably well. Tell Mr. Harmony it made me think of 3 Stooges just a little bit, though!

Hope dsonil finds many on their way to healthy calving, Lilac.

I need to get a load of darks washing together! BBL to check on what we were doing a year ago!

Good morning everyone! Last night was Girls' Night Out, so not much got done other than some crochet at Chuck E Cheese. I did update Quicken and put a surge protector on the computer. Today, in addition to payroll tasks, I need to fill out yet another visa form, get a passport type photo, and call my brother.

One year ago, XDH had told me he wanted a divorce and we were in mediation on visitation issues. I guess things have improved over that!

Emptynester: Maybe you could make prickly pear wine!

Harriet: Artemis Fowl is one of my favorite series. Keep reading it, you will be glad you did.

Good morning all!

I made sure to do some things before posting this morning. That included reading PWYC yesterday (plus a year ago just for good measure - I was recovering from a cruise then, too!)

I've watered plants, set up driving a church member to the hospital next week, cleaned the bathrooms and tidied the bedroom. I also did my devotions and ate breakfast. I s2s but haven't worked out. The day started poorly for weather but is improving so I'm counting on a walk this afternoon.
