LOL, Elizabeth, the tax department is pooling money for the lottery twice a week now. I've also been meaning to tell you that Dh did the Russian visa thing last spring and visited Russia last summer.

OH WOW! What a joy to see Indiana posting again!

This morning I stayed on schedule and CCC = 105. During our outside time, LO and I finished planting all the flowers - 2 kinds of caladiums, Hollyhocks, 3 kinds of canna's, 3 kinds of dahlia's gladiolus, cosmos, goldilocks rocks (??), and a slew of snapdragons. I lost count but I know there was over 100 bulbs and plants we got into the ground this morning. The bulbs took extra time to put out because I put hail screen wire underneath/around each individual bulb in an effort to keep the moles from eating them. I also put 1"x1" wire on top of them in an effort to keep the dogs from digging them up. It took MUCH more time & effort to "plant" the wire than it did the flowers, but I am hopeful this will allow the critters and flowers to co-exist.

While DH and LO ate lunch I stayed outside and unpacked new table/chairs. I have been looking for outdoor furniture forever but haven't been able to find anything that fit on the east porch and/or was suitable. Yesterday i found the perfect table/chairs for that area at Sam's. After getting it in place and arraigned, I couldn't be more pleased with it.

This afternoon I did the colon scope prep so I am all ready for tomorrows test. I'm thankful this test only happens once every 5 years!

One yr. ago glad I took a look back
After my bs took a dive last night I came to with hubby putting candy in my hand
my b.s. it is up this morning, I'm not surprised about that. What I had around midnight
will count for my breakfast this morning. I'd been ill fighting a bug.
I've had to go with less tight control on my bs and have had a much better time of it since that post last March!
You will never guess what I left out for the open house this morning ~ pans on the stove top forgot to put those away only a few so that's good!

Hubby is trying to study for pest control application permit thingie that our dson does; so it's a vocab lesson for h. about every 5 words I"m typing up some thing to look up on here! LOL!
We have an increased appreciation for what dson and those guys know!

Dd showed us the house they are nearly done with and it's lovely they will be having an open house soon as the garage door is on and the front grass is in. She had some cheese crackers and sweet spicy raspberry spread for h's bday. I had a couple bites of cheese.

Way to go every one!

Not sure what's for dinner but left over chili and 1/4 th of sub. type san. for lunch was great!

No progress to report except ds cut another 10 friends from his Facebook and I managed to make it past this cut so can still see his posts!

I need to get the dinner dishes washed up. Dh is off with a friend and I'm so overtired, it is all I can do to stay awake.

I read back at last year's posts and for some reason can't remember what I said that day! Something about DH struggling with mobility or something. It must have been from his hip. Not much has changed. Still struggling with mobility, just not as bad.

Indiana, your arms sound like they're all colored for Easter (like easter eggs!) but I'm sure it wasn't nearly as much fun.

MT, I really hope your DH getting stents and being on a diet at least leaves him feeling better.

Today was busy. My church friend was here and we wrote out 19 cards together for our ministry, had conversation and prayer. Soon after she left DH's brother and wife arrived to have dinner with us. DH made us burgers on the grill and I had potato salad and brownies. Easy Peasy dinner, and DH did the shopping on the way home.

They stayed for a long while, we sat out back at the fire pit. It was a nice visit. We only get to see them every year or two.

Typed proposal and emailed to customer.
Handled several phone calls.
Got an ok from one guy to do his job, yay, we have work again!

DH got his wiring problem fixed on the truck. Might look strange using my quilt pins like that, but it does work! The 3 Stooges are favorites of his, but I assure you I did not bop him on the head!
