Stress Awareness Month
I need to be reminded to be "aware of stress"??

So GOOD to see you posting all over, Indiana! Can just feel the 'vibes' of your feeling better than you obviously have in months! YAY!

Been piddling around for over an hour. Some on here and getting some things sorted out. Now am going to spend 30 minutes on paper stuff (sorting/filing/shredding) and then will proceed to get ready for church.

Have a feeling DS-R & DDIL are probably getting back in port from their cruise today. Sure by now she knows of her Dad's passing. Just glad they are flying and don't have to drive all the way up north. Need to look in the paper from up home and see if his obit is in so I can help dh decide what he'll do (as far as planning his days).

Have a good morning and indeed Happy April Fool's Day! I'd forgotten it was even that until Indiana mentioned it.

What a GREAT start to the day! Thank you Indiana!

No April Food jokes planned - other than the spontaneous ones that always seem to happen during this day. :)

This morning I spent some time reviewing April calendar and rearranging. I've added another layer to the calendar because it was just so busy that I couldn't see everything. Now there are 2 layers of clear mylar that overlays the actual paper calendar. One layer has meal plan and the other layer has reoccurring events. Hopefully this will work better.

I woke up this morning with no aching muscles. They all disappeared with a good night rest.

Mother Nature has decided to play an April Fool's joke on us.

Warnings

City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park
4:36 AM MDT Sunday 01 April 2012
Snowfall warning for
City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park continued

10 to 15 cm of snow tonight into Sunday.

A low pressure system developing in Central Alberta will track northeastwards reaching north Central Saskatchewan tonight. Heavy snow is expected to fall through central and Northeastern Alberta with accumulations of 10 to 15 cm in the warning regions. This area of heavy wet snow will gradually move eastward across the province on Sunday. Snow will end late this afternoon in Edmonton and tonight over Northeastern Alberta.

It's a good thing I really didn't have great plans to go out today! In fact, I'm giving serious consideration to going back to bed, and getting up later for a 'do-over' Instead, I think I'll go find some breakfast, and sii if I can't get a few things done befoe I end up falling asleep

I'm up and about, have had breakfast and read the paper. The only plans we have for the day are to go by dh's new office so I can see it ;) and see the new house. Dh is playing tennis and I need to do some usual Sunday stuff here to get ready for the week. We're down to this week, next week, plus two more days for tax season.

First up, is along the lines of a.m. routine....
-meds/vitamins
-kitchen counters (several days of accumulation)
-start a lol
-straighten up family room
-clear kitchen table

I took out the garbage and started the dishwasher instead of clearing kitchen table.

-clear kitchen table
-s2s quickly
-make up bed

Then I think we'll be leaving...

Check out the monthly threads! You never know when you will get all inspired. ;)

Thanks to Dee for noting yesterday that ... ...

It is the beginning of the Second Quarter of the Year! Do you know where your ambition is?

I happened to notice the Holiday Grand Plan thread in The Creative Home forum, where our last post was on December 25. If anyone would like to make some notes to themselves there about their posts of what went right/wrong and things they'd like to remember for next year, that's a really good place.

Sunny, I hope your ddil feels better today.

Awww... ((Harmony's middle grandson)) I know that feeling when leaving family. :(

HRH and I had a bad night - breathing was tough, the house seemed to get so hot, high humidity. Bad dreams, too.

Oh, good grief. I was glancing at the post-it notes on top area of desk above my computer screen and reading them, and with my right hand started aiming my mouse at them. Sigh. That won't work, will it? I may need a nap.

I also thought bittersweet's post said "snowball warning". I guess one should be careful... ...

Oh, good there's lucylee back, so I can nap, knowing that if the boards actually require someone as ditzy as I've been this a.m., she can take over.

 dgd picked a face here to use.
Today we picked up dgd at her house came back here and she had "brkast" as she calls it. Then we made banana muffins. I've not had any food yet. Hoping for brunch egg and muffin. Dd & family went skiing today with dsgson. I should have stayed there and cleaned up but dgd wanted to come here and I did not seem to be in much of a mood to do that.

I watched rather listened to church on TV we were going to a diff. one today but had to change our plans.

My bs was way up again this morning so I need to be mobile as much as possible.
I had help loading the dish washer.
It's cold & windy out here today.

Oh boy April a month full of possibilities and everything blooming.

When I was up in the wee hours this morning for a drink of water I took Jake out for a walk. It is a good thing I did because right after we got in it rained.

It is bright and sunny and much warmer now.

I have been puttering this morning. This afternoon I'll do Jake's mending. He has a toy and bed that need to be mended.

We are expecting a near record high temp today. It's too early for this!

Sorry about the snow, bittersweet. It probably won't last long, but still.....

I need to get inspired by some of the other threads, Harriet. Thanks for updating them.
