FOCUS - Bathroom - 4/2/2012 - Second Round

Checking in for accountability -

Working on the bathrooms this week. Let's see how much can be decluttered, organized, improved & cleaned! I'll check in at the end of the week and report accomplishements

My goal this week is to wash the wood work in the powder room - I would love to paint it.

I actually did some decluttering in the bathroom and linen closet today! Five minutes of work, and I had a grocery bag half full of donates, and another one two-thirds full of trash!

The outer shower curtains need to be washed in both our bathrooms. Also I was noticing how many dust-catching places I've been letting go since our last round here. Waving to my sister bathroom focus-ers!

By Friday evening: in master bath I've detail-dusted-vacuumed, washed and re-hung outer shower curtain, cleaned tub/shower surround, and switched this bathroom's hanging shampoo shelves/holder with the one in the front bath. (And both of them are cleaned) Now HRH and I have more room in the holder for shampoos up off ledges, so everything is neater and easier to keep nice.

mondays are normally my bathroom days but I have added a couple things
dejunking under the sinks will be this week, add toilet paper to each bathroom (no more getting it out of one place)
dejunking meds start a new year

Repairs by dstepson to our master bathroom have meant some extra cleaning there, so I'm happy about that. (After all, I couldn't have him working on a toilet when his surroundings weren't clean! So glad to have a sink faucet that is mended correctly and a toilet that flushes quietly and efficiently!
