Re: Tuesday Updates
I am in countdown trying to get things caught up before tomorrow surgery.
Yard work - Yesterday I spent 4 hours mowing, raking and hauling wet grass clippings. It was too wet to mow but I did it anyway because of the time table i'm working with. Today I will weed eat and hopefully that will keep the yard looking good until the first part of next week.
Paperwork - spent 4 hours yesterday focusing on paperwork (LO went with DH to do some errands). I was able to process to completion all but 2 pieces of paper. Those 2 will require a couple hours of effort each to finish. All-in-all I'm pleased with the status of paperwork.
DParents - I spent extra time at DMom/DDad's home yesterday and feel comfortable they will be fine with no visits from us for a couple of days.
House - it is what it is. It is 99% picked up but the floors are way dirtier than normal. It is a never ending task to keep the floors because we track in so much so often. Tonight DMIL will spend the night with us so she will be here & ready to take care of LO tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 6am so we will be leaving home while he is still asleep. Three other generations will come later in the day and stay at our home because LO constant activity is a physical challenge for any 80+ year old....no matter how awesome they are.
Meals - planned but not all prep'd. I'll make a big pressure cooker of beans today and also plan to make meatballs to have on hand and for the freezer. If we don't get rained out I want to go fishing today, so will make chicken salad to take with us for a picnic.
LO and I have completed 9 of his 18 lessons for this month so we are in good shape to take a few days off.
Staying up with the eye drops needs constant monitoring during the day. I forgot to check the chart before going to bed last night and discovered this morning that I missed doing one of the drops yesterday.
BBL with an update.

Re: Tuesday Updates
Good morning. Sounds like you and your family are well prepared, OKay. All best wishes. No more weed-eating for you for a while!!! That can be a heavy-lifting chore for sure.
Weed-eating chore - speaking of this reminds me to suggest mosquito repellent any time someone is weed-eating at or near mosquito season. Mosquitos can bite a person useing a weed-whack or weed-eat type machine without alerting them, because the shaking of the machine keeps the person from feeling individual sensations on the body as they normally do. But the machine doesn't deter the mosquito, in fact some people believe it attracts them. I wouldn't have believed it until I experienced it myself - yikes.
Dd has a math test, missed while she was sick, to take today. Scary parabolas, vertexes, roots, arcs, lions, tigers and bears. So she must arrive early, at the teacher's tutoring time.

Re: Tuesday Updates
What are the beans you make, Okay? And what is your recipe for meatballs. I haven't made any in sooooo long! But need to for the spaghetti sauce recipe I'm going to try. That was to be today, but 'someone' left chicken out and it thawed so is a must cook for today.
I've been up for a while and have been 'messing' with the "don't break the chain" that Sherinjoy spoke about yesterday. Downloaded an app to my phone but there's no place to 'write' anything -just the calendar to put an "X" on. I need about 3 of them (at least
)
I, too, have been doing a 30-minute stint on paperwork every day for quite a few days now. Some days I've done an hour or an hour & a half, so I'm really seeing results now. A lot of that time has been spent shredding. Want to have less to take back & forth every 6 months.
Can't wait to get back to my own 'house' so I can keep it the way I like. Just noticed that everything of gd's that was hung on the coat rack was either thrown in a chair or on the floor this morning. Not hard to pick them up but oh so aggravating for me as it's just a 'statement'. Yesterday I really cleaned the kitchen and dining area floors and mopped. Murphy's law
: gd opened a new bottle of cherry soda and off it went. She did wipe it up some....dd did it over several times later to get up the stickiness.
Have a meeting at 9:30 this morning so better get moving. (I actually was VERY early for this one -I arrived one week ago, but no one else did!
Will be thinking about you, Okay.
Always feels like 'coming home' when I've been out of the village for a few days. Love it here! It's so comfortable and loving!
Oh my! is right, Harriet. I hardly recognize those terms and I had a 99-100 average in all my math courses! Have I forgotten that much????

Re: Tuesday Updates
Update on Zoe's Memorial Garden. Here I thought it was just a small circle with perhaps a tree planted and a bench. Not so....it's going to be a beauty. DS-A sent another picture later last night of our dgks working on it. Will try to do a series as it comes to fruition. Know the dedication is planned for May 12th (so glad they did that because now both dd and I will be there -at least that's the plan).

Re: Tuesday Updates
OKay it is so nice to read about all your preparations. You do like I do is to get everything done ahead to make things easier.
Dee I can't wait to see the pictures of Zoe's memorial garden.
Aw shucks Harriet. Thank you.
I'm puttering today. I am waiting on a call from the manager of the oxygen company. They have the contract here for oxygen in the manor and assisted living so I may have someone from here call him if I don't get a response. I just have to think through if it will make him angrier than he is.
I'm going to work on email address's for everyone it is slow going.

So on Update Tuesday, everybody make Indiana a congratulations present
of letting her know your email is correct in your profile (or that it has been updated)
by posting to her in her thread about this at the top of PWYC forum.

Re: Tuesday Updates
Good morning ladies.
I haven't posted in ages but I do fly here and there in the village.
I would like to visit everyone in the next 3 days.
Do you have anything you would like me to do while I'm visiting or do you just want to visit?
I'm so excited.
