Ooohhh... (((Indiana))) So sorry about the teapot.

Update in J&C -- praise report! :D

LOL, Lilac! You have NOT lost it yet! -- Or if you have, I'm sure I'm right there with you. I know if I had two key rings, I'd NEVER be able to keep up with any of my keys. I have to keep EVERYTHING -- school/house/car/truck -- all on one ring. It's huge, and if I lose it, I'll lose everything at once -- but I could never keep up with separate rings.
So glad your keys were right where you left them, though. I can just hear that sigh of relief!

Ditto Norma's comment:
OKAY - you are my heroine! I don't know how you do all that you do. You make me tired reading it all. You are such a great grandma to LO. He is sooooo lucky. Get home safe from your surgery.
OKay -- you ARE amazing. The fishing trip sounds like so much fun. (((BIG HUGS))) and prayers for an easy day tomorrow.

Nancy, you are such a wonderful grandmother, too! Y'all are setting such a good example for me. I hope I'm not a dud at being a grandma.

WTG, MT!

Kally, I think the house fairy might just find me taking a NAP. DH's sleepless night didn't do me any good either! We were both up & down a thousand times, I think. I bet that house fairy could find PLENTY to do around here, though. Maybe I'll take a nap, and when I wake up, the house will look like Merry Maids just left... ...

(((Harmony))) I know... I know... BTDT as a witness to dmom... (((BIG HUGS)))

(((Norma))) Hope you feel better soon! BTDT w/allergy trouble, too! I know how miserable that can be!

WTG on the weight loss, Indiana!!! And ditto -- good luck w/oxygen company!!!

(((Dee))) I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the memorial garden... and I know you are sooo looking forward to being back home.

Hope you get all the payroll stuff done, Elizabeth. Have a good night!

Hope dd had a good day and the test was okay, Harriet! Thinking of you and all your family concerns, too. (((HUGS)))

Waving to ALL!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

I'm back! I just finished the most boring training materials ever made, but it is DONE! The HouseFairy needs to come to my house after 10:00 tomorrow, when the maids finish. There are two things I need to take care of before they get here. I need to get to bed early tonight. I was falling asleep before I got into the boring stuff. I need to review my selections for the cruise shore excursions. Tomorrow, I am getting together with DFriend to determine which ones to sign up for.

lucylee that is a tall order while visiting others too.

But I am the House Fairy and I can do anything - all I need to do is wave my wand and it will be done.

I'm starting in your area tomorrow. I'll be visiting everyone east of the Mississippi river.

Thursday I'll visit every one between the Mississippi river and the Rocky mountains.

Friday west of the Rockies to the Pacific.

My magic shoes are polished and my dress is pressed. I tested my wings and they flutter. Finally my wand is ready to go.

This is going to be a fun trip.

Does the house fairy give fines? LOL! If she does then I"m probably getting one! As I've been gone today and then I walked with a friend first she has cancer and is not doing well. After that I mowed our yard and the neighbor's front when I got home. Pant pant pant!

No grand kids here today at all getting a break and enjoying it as the sun is out today.
We have a branch in the tree that needs to come out of the apple tree so I want to get to that before it blooms and is full of bees and before it leafs out b/c it's easier to see what one to cut.
Wish me luck.

Done but had a scare check J & C .

Dinner is done h. grilled for us tonight the lawn looks great!

Dd32 says her family is thinking of coming this weekend and dstepdil just can't find a time to help me work at my ddad's. HRH has an absolute away day tomorrow and also Thursday morning. I have a dr's appt Thurs afternoon. An interesting development.

A restaurant mini chain (3 locations) near us has started offering "take and bakes". One recommended specialty is a large, pretty chicken pot pie, guaranteed to serve more than 8 people, for $16. I am considering that for a supper while dd's family is here, since she loves that type of dish. Maybe it won't be so hot outside yet that it will seem to be an out-of-season dish in April. I'm sure they need some advance notice, though... ...

Sorry to hear of the loss of a china teapot!

Glad to hear Lilac's keys were right where she'd left them.

OKay, you will be on our minds tomorrow. Hope everything goes exactly as expected - very ordinary. :)

Yes, very best results, OKay.

Hmmm, house fairy comes here, I can just see the look on her face with one eyebrow up...I've been sewing, just doing minimums.

Lilac, I have an extra house & car key I keep in the bottom of my purse always for those times I lose my main set. Don't ask me why! But I also have a small clip on my ring and I take a second to clip it to my purse when I get out of the car, and I unclip and hold it as I leave the store so I can get in quickly & safely ... but it's a habit that took a long long time to solidify. I'm sure glad those keys were there for you when you went back. You've been so busy lately, I'm not surprised.

Short melt down...as I was talking with Sunny on my cell, it ran out of power so I plugged it into charger...had to unplug as DH had come in and was talking on his phone (pacing as usual) with his booming voice, so I had to get out of ear range...and by the time I replugged the charger it was completely dead. I couldn't get anything on the phone to show and figured I needed a new battery...but somehow I'd shut it completely off and didn't know. See, I get things all mixed up when I'm nervous..

All our electronics are old around here. This phone is probably 8 years old...computer 10 years... I just don't know how y'all afford to keep upgrading all the time.

Sigh...it was just one of those days. Tomorrow will be better. I'm sure.

Oh yeah... It's okay, House Fairy... I know I put in a tall order. I don't deserve your blessings. You'd be handing out penalties here, too. Harriet probably needs you more -- especially if dd & family come for the weekend. I understand.

We're about to go over to ds & ddil's to see the baby bed in all its glory. They have it all set up now. Still in their bedroom, w/ddog... but, whatever.
Tomorrow is another day.

My Tuesday update....
We've had some busy days lately since I last posted starting with last Friday. We went to a baseball game with dfam#1. We had been expecting dfam#3 for a visit and just as the game started I got a phone call that they had arrived at out house, and ds had the wrong house key, so they could get in till we got home. :( We didn't expect them till Sat am.
Anyway, We've been having a good visit with them. Sat. we went to the beach, Sunday dfam#1 was here also for Easter dinner. Monday we went to the Coast Guard Station to swim in their pool. Today ddil and dgd14 went shopping, ds and dgs stayed home. They gave both dogs a bath, washed our cars and swept the leaves and pine needles off our roof. Poor ds startled a wasp nest and got stung. I got some bleach/water mix and he put that on to take the pain away. He told me: I'm ok, mom, I'm tough! Tomorrow we are going to Busch Gardens and ddil#2 and dgds10 and 17 are going also. It will be a fun day!

I'll be saying a prayer for OKay tonight and thinking of her tomorrow.
Harmony, I'm glad we had a chance to talk. I'm sorry you're having a topsy-turvy time lately.
Congratulations to you Indiana on weight loss! I've been going down and up lately! Oh, I'm sorry your teapot broke.
Lilac, I'm glad you found your keys. It's a scary feeling when they are misplaced. Dh keeps an extra car key in his wallet and I keep an extra set of keys in my purse.
Ahh, Dee, ikwym, "there's no place like home"!
Harriet, hopefully you can juggle all your commitments this week without too much stress!
Oh, House Fairy is very welcome at our house anytime!

Everyone's going to bed now...that's where I'm headed too. We've got an early day tomorrow.

DS & ddil's bedroom/nursery looks very nice. It actually, somehow, looks larger now than it did before they put the baby bed in. They really didn't rearrange much, either, just somehow, it looks much better now.
The baby bedding matches their own bedspread, etc. sooo well. It just all blends together perfectly.
Of course, their house is still too tiny, no storage at all, basically, and they are NOT going to be satisfied long when they become a 3 person family + dog. And they REALLY do not need to go into debt to get a larger place.
But thinking about this is just borrowing trouble for me, I know. They'll figure it out, and they'll manage somehow.

I had a short nap earlier, but I am ready for bed. I need to get some cream on my hands -- dog makes me itch sooo badly!!! But she IS a sweet dog and it's hard to avoid petting her. Even though she sheds UNBELIEVABLY. I do not know how they stand it... but I do not know how they could bear to get rid of her, either. * sigh * They'll manage somehow.

Is it bad for me to say all this here? What if ddil is one of our "guests"? * sigh *

I'm going to put some cream on my hands, get in the bed, and read some more in Catching Fire, the 2nd of The Hunger Games trilogy.
That's the plan.
Tomorrow is another day.
