With such a wide range of experts, this could be an interesting theme. :)

Do you have some trivia questions or facts to share today?

Today is the last day of remembering to do 4 eye drops. Tomorrow starts the next week cycle which only has 3 eye drops done in AM and PM. PROGRESS! This is also the last week of the "No fishing" restriction. We will just have a picnic today and skip some rocks.

Fun opening but my mind is all trivia so pulling out one fact is overwhelming!

Today is a busy day - Presbytery volunteering (which is actually a meeting this week since I've been invited to join the meeting to decide the logistics of shutting us down.) Then lunch with dh at the chip wagon and then hair appointment. On the way home we'll stop by the jeweler I use to discuss options for my wedding rings. We are getting an income tax refund so that has helped me mind paying out money on this a bit less.

Google today also celebrates a bit of trivia - I'm ahead of Indiana for once on this one. :)

Working again today - not too hard actually as I'm waiting for some info from a client. Dee, I do the same thing this time of year that I do during tax season. Only now I'm working on extended returns, or other types of returns, or business returns with different year ends. Right now I'm doing a foundation return (exempt organization) that is due on May 15.

I don't want to seem wishy washy, but I'm thinking of cancelling the temple board meeting scheduled for tomorrow night - we really don't have much on the agenda, and I hate to hold a meeting and people feel like their time was wasted.

I was up very early but am slow getting going. DH called last evening and had finally procured a spot for DS-A's & DDIL's baby shower. Friend (the fire chief) booked a local lodge for us for Sunday afternoon, May 13th. Know that's Mother's Day, but the date couldn't be helped. So we spent last night getting invitations ready and I took them to the post office at 6:30 this morning. Doesn't give people a lot of time. We did set it for 4p.m. so people would have a chance to take Mom to lunch or whatever they do. The only one I'm a tad concerned about is DGS12 (DS-A's son). Being Mother's Day it's his Mom's day to have him. Hoping she'll decide he can go with his Dad later in the day.

I've actually had the heat on in our room this morning. It's going to be short lived though. Supposed to be back in the 80's tomorrow. Looks like it's still a bit messy up home.

Was figuring on going to DSisIl's later. She called a few minutes ago to make sure I was still meeting her & her 2 sisters for lunch.(I'd forgotten, but didn't let on -can't believe I forgot). Been fighting a headache so at least I won't have to leave quite as early. We're meeting at 1 sister's house at 11:30. Going to O back and my tummy doesn't really feel like it. I also don't relish the way they split the bill. I usually get something smaller/cheaper and only water to drink. End up always splitting the bill 4 ways.

Guess I could get the dishes done before I leave.

Chocolate Trivia...

A 1.5 oz. milk chocolate bar has only 220 calories.
A 1.75 oz. serving of potato chips has 230 calories.

When men crave food, they tend to crave fat and salt. When women crave food, they tend to desire chocolate.

One more ... An interactive trivia cleaning test. How many points did you get?

Plans have now changed and I'm driving to DSisIL's and riding with them to her 2nd DSis's and we're going from there. She wanted to know if I have to pick up gd and of course I do -especially Tuesdays. Know it's going to be somewhat of a nightmare for dd once I go north. She can get her to school -she takes her miles out of the way to someone else's house and they take her. But picking her up will be a challenge -gd has to be picked up before 3:30 at the latest and dd doesn't get out of school & after school duties until at least 3:20. School is then nearly 1/2 hour from her own school. But she'll figure it out.

Better get a move on if I'm going to be to DSIL's by 11. Takes nearly 1/2 hour to get over there. See you all later. Still fighting this 'sick' headache. :|

Good morning! I had an interesting night. One cat made some noises that sounded like an intruder in the house. After I had recovered from that, the other two started a fight over who got to steal my pillow. I got a claw to the face, so both lost. I got my errands done yesterday and used the last of the checks. I have more, but of course forgot to put them in my purse! Tonight is Girls' Night Out, I hope DD10 wants to go out rather than stay home watching movies. I worked some on the bathtub yesterday, it is almost done. I still need to book my shore excursionss, update Quicken, and balance the checkbook. GNO will probably preclude all of those.

Edited to add trivia: Seven tenths of the earths surface is covered with water.
