Realized in the night  I'd typed "egg cell" yesterday instead of "egg shell", so made that edit before more than a few villagers wondered about my brain. LOL!

Routine - it would be good for me to see this "written out"....

beginning by 7:30 I handle my personal routines through to dressing, then take care of my ddad's breakfast. (Of course, he can make a change in this with his own unpredicatble schedule and I can be trying to get his breakfast in my gown and robe like this morning!) Simultaneously I'm making sure dd13 is up and into her routine well. I drink a pint of water and tip up any dishes that need to drain in the dishwasher while I'm gone, then we go on the school run. Usually back from that at 9:00 a.m.

Then it's the multi-faceted Morning Daily Card hour :) until 10:00, eating some fruit in there somewhere. It's important to note :? that the day usually falls apart by mid-morning - not that I don't have rotating routines, but for the rest of the day they're not at predictable times, so I go over to Plan B : Rotation, rotation, rotation! The "next up" that waits around is usually the rest of my breakfast! At some point, the idea is to rotate through 15 minutes of declutter and 15 minutes of focus cleaning and at least some of the things on the Tomorrow Card before the half-hour Afternoon Daily Card is due! A new routine on sunny days is 20 minutes in the sunshine somehow.

By the time HRH gets home and dd13 is almost ready for pick-up, the day seldom makes sense in terms of routine except to look back and correct omissions. But I do try to get my ddad to take a short walk, try to have his supper on the table at 5:00 and resist his requests for it earlier, so that he won't get off-routine for his night's sleep later. Again, simultaneously, dd13's routine needs monitoring, but I do stress she's the one going to school, not me. Then we start planning our own supper, but it usually works out best to eat at 7:00 after my ddad has gone to bed. I have a half-hour Evening Daily Card and I try to be lucid enough to make out the next Tomorrow Card.

I'm tired now.

Must tease LynLee a little!

I was invited to be a mature person ...

We can't stay young forever, LynLee! LOL! Hoping your ANZAC day responsibilities went well.

Have made huge progress in our room~ :D Don't have any gifts wrapped but at least they're at the ready when I get back here this afternoon. (Begun IS half done!) :)

I did get the vacuum run and that feels so good. Now to strip the bed in the morning and get that job done (washed/dried & back on the bed).

Think I'll put the keyboard in the car that dd had hidden in our room, and make a stop at the G ood will store (out of the way but it will at least be done). Already have several other things in the car ready to go. Good idea! Want to get my car washed soon and saw a new carwash down that way yesterday. Looked good to me. Suppose it's REALLY out of the way to go to Okay's.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

I am done again...also rebooted some delicates in the washer/hung to dry, and did some pretreating of other items. Dmom's doc office called back and we set up that appointment also.

On the good news side, I tried on some inexpensive capris that I picked up at Walmart on Sunday and they fit! Another article of clothing that I can wear!

This round:

-reboot laundry yet again
-s2s, including shaving legs
-make bed
-straighten up MBR/Bath

After this I will start on the car clean up. It's feeling good to actually be doing things here at home again. :)

Good morning! Once again, Girls' Night Out became Girls' Night In. DD10 is getting tired of Chuck E Cheese. She suggested library as an alternative, but didn't want to go last night. We watched Hogans Heroes for a while then played outside. I did some clean up in kitchen, but not a lot. When XDH came to pick her up, we took care of some tax stuff. Once I am paid off for that and for some stock, all divorce items are done (except paying child support, of course). I remembered to pack my lunch for today. I stayed up too late working with the new foster cat. I got her to sit on my lap and purr briefly.

This morning I ordered medicine for DCat18 and called the financial advisor about the stock. I would like to have dinner at church, but I have no idea what they are serving. If it is cheese-laden, that is not an option.

I should get better with my routines. My am / pm routines are pretty well set and keep things moving along around here, and they keep things from getting chaotic. However, I do not have a good record for the focus / zone things or even the weekly cleaning... Those things tend to get done as needed. Sometimes I must do things because we're having company and then I let paperwork, laundry, etc., go and do heavier cleaning...that happens too often.

But it all works together. I do wish I could get myself going to do it more consistently, but I'm so busy with routine dailies that I don't have the time or energy for more. Like today. I've been busy with paperwork and a huge (for me) chore for DH that was stressing me out that now I've reached a breathing spot I just want to do nothing for a while.

Today I changed purses back to my everyday. Dressier summer purse was driving me nuts with no pocket on the outside for cell and less inside pockets to keep things organized. So all that mess has been straightened out and reorganized...receipts logged, etc. Bills paid. All the companies on a list called, asking for prices, etc., emails sent..

LOL done and hanging outside. Someday I'll time that. Seems to take a long time.

Dee, that is a sad thing to find in one's driveway.
Harriet, I read your egg shell perfectly last night, wonder if my brain just changed it?
Waving to everyone, hoping all have a wonderful day.

My routine "performance" is also pretty sporadic. Now that tax season is over, I'm trying to get better. I haven't revised a.m. routine and dailies since dkids went away last August so there'a lot there that doesn't need to be done daily with just me and dh in the house. Of course, both will be home again next week - what better time for me to get started again?

Now.

I need to clean out my car, and I need to eat something. Probably need to leave in about an hour and fifteen minutes. Also can reboot laundry again.

I'm back from my walk and pulled a few weeds in the front this morning after breakfast it's nice out a few clouds but cooler and less muggy today so yea for that! QT & Journaling are done now.
Lunch is done. I put away more lawn furniture so I can mow when hubby gets back with gas for the mower. Walked around the block to get some kinks out of my back that seems to be working!

I mentioned earlier that even Jake has routines.

When we come in from outside after his training treat (tiny piece of pupperoni) he runs in the garage. That is the beginning of his routine coming in.

Next is when we get off the elevator and come to the intersection to go left or right he has to look toward the left to see if any friends are coming. Then he checks the library to see if any friends are in there and finally he will head for home.

He thought he was going on an adventure about an hour or so ago. The floor tech came in the use the carpet machine to rinse and extract the peroxide we used on the blood. The tech was leaving and my door closes very slowly. Jake decided he was going with him. The tech didn't know Jake was following him until one of the housekeeper that was in the hall told him Jake was following him.

I don't know where Jake thought he was going but he wouldn't get far before someone would send him home. With just that short jaunt when he came in he was so happy to see me he got up on my lap and wouldn't get off. He was only gone 2 minutes.

Hello dear ladies,

Sunny and hot here.

My routine starts in the morning, unload dishwasher, start coffee, make oatmeal for DH and me. Sometimes Dson16 will eat oatmeal too. Sometimes I make the steel cut oats overnight in the crock pot and it feels wonderful, like someone cooked it for me.

DH and Dson16 walk dogs, feed dogs, walk dogs. I scoop cat litter, check water for cat and their food bowl. Then I get DBrother up, other Dsons are getting up and taking care of their own breakfasts. Sit with Dbrother and talk with him. Then help him with his morning routine.

Load Dishwasher, start thing cooking for meal later on. Clean a bathroom, sweep and mop floors. Then exercise and shower.

After shower, I should work on my weeklies but I don't always. I sit in the sun for a few minutes and listen to the Bible.

I've been using the time too to work on things for our trip. I downloaded an app for my iphone for tracking expense while on the trip.

Off to work soon.

I just got back from a school conference about DD10's 504 plan. (A 504 is similar to an IEP, individual education plan, but for students who have been identified as having problems but don't qualify for special ed). I always come out of those feeling hopeless.
