I'm up feeling better I slept in it's rained in the night I did not hear any thunder. I'm SO glad I mowed in the back yesterday.

It's raining out I have granny duty this afternoon.
breakfast x

I need to
start laundry
clear/wipe kitchen counters

Knitting Daily show is on. Poofers!

Granny duty has begun dd was out of sorts this morning we rocked for 20 min. or so and she's fine now, had some juice feeling better. She did not want to do pj day with us I we're dressed I made it before noon! tunes are on.

H. made the bed.
I spiffed up the kitchen
did my qt & journaling
The job h. interviewed for is weekends with days off in the middle of the week sigh will not know for a week if he is up for the next round of interviews or now. nearly 200 apps. for that roto rooter job!

I've been avoiding duck dynasty show h. said he likes it.
Speaking of ducks it's great weather for them and fish too rain rain and more rain flooding in the forecast around us. County fair weekend begins today as well.

Written earlier but not posted; Gardening galoshes that's what I need. Rain is coming down in sheets; considering a rain walk to splash in mud puddles that would be fun but dgd will be here and do not have those for her so we will see if she's wearing 'em. She's just getting
over a bug so it might not be a good idea we shall see.

Later:
Rains have slacked off a bit; and the sky is lighter in the west it's some what windy but looks
like today will be inproving shortly.

Glad I found a coupld of kiddie toys dgd had not played with yet. These were for Easter go figure that I just found 'em today. Perfect timing actually with the weather the way it is!

Hello everyone.

I've not accomplished much today yet. I have laundry going though. Been spending the time mostly thinking and worrying about business problems. I called a friend at church and it turned out she needed to talk with me as much as I needed to talk with her. Funny how that works out sometimes.

Updating calendar from email stuff today. I'll probably be tied up Sat. helping fix car; I've been stuck at home here until the overheating problem gets fixed.

LOL, Harmony. I was just thinking last evening that we should discuss D uck D ynastyhere! You have no idea how glad I am that you said they reminded you of in-laws first, before I said it! Except for the million-dollar idea, they ARE my in-laws!!! (And a couple of my own folks) LOL I feel I almost know Willie (except for the MBA degree). Si is my father-in-law, just skinnier and with a beard. I'm still trying to figure Jace out (and Kay's cooking). I certainly don't mind if I miss the show, but HRH is just amazed by it - stares at the tv as if it is a puzzle to figure out and can't hear us talk while he watches.

Today I have cut my ddad's toenails. I now exempt myself from... ... just about everything.

But there's a load of laundry in the dryer and mail to go through.

We had a terrible thunderstorm and I called dd32 and warned her that it was headed her way. It may or may not fizzle out before reaching her, but was wide and awfully colorful on the radar here. The sky turned the shade/tint of dusk. at mid-day, which was decidedly spooky.

Checking radar, the first wave just passed over dd and the second is about to hit her. Notice Twins Mom is having her fair share today, too.

I feel like I am making huge headway on desk type task, however the paperwork stack isn't visibly showing a difference.

DH brought home Grapefruit Seed Extract nasal spray for LO to get some relief from allergies. The nasal spray was recommended by the nurse that gives DH his allergy shots each week. LO instantly liked the results and exclaimed "I can smell now!!". :)

Today is EOB day here. Explanation of Benefits - matching bills/primary insurance/secondary insurance and paying those we have documentation for.

I have spent about 2 hours at it . . . and only have 4 bills that can be paid.

At least it is done until I get the mail again.

Now it is time to do something fun. Like open the new printer that Brown brought yesterday.

Then I will contemplate my eyelids.

Tummy is rumbling - I gave it a rest yesterday but took one of my new Uncle Arthur pills today to see if I get the same result as Tues. I think I will. YUCK!!

Bet I could win if this were a contest, Harmony! I am a complete slug today. Good thing I accomplished so much yesterday. Guess I've rested on my laurels. :? I've dozed more than anything else. Think just the thought of making the trip home is exhausting me.

It is another day of a little bit of this and that.

The temperature has dropped and it is partly cloudy.

MT I hope you can find something for relief.

I am going to make a mug of tea I got chilled outside.

I've finished and electronically filed the taxes. I still have to file all the papers from this year. Pulled 2005 & 2006 out of the filing cabinet and found a box for them and for the 2008/09 trading account papers. I can't file 2011 until I get the binder cleared out of the older years.

I'm figuring I have 60 minutes of filing ahead of me. I could do that in front of a tv show so need to pull something up on my computer.

Dh is contemplating a walk to the store for the mail but there's rain on its way. I don't need to exercise any more today so I might pass on the walk if it will be wet.

Tonight's dinner is leftovers for me and Chinese for dh. I was going over iron content of food and wondering how I'm going to up my iron intake when I'm dieting. Eggs don't have near as much as I thought they did although I cooked them in my cast iron pan today to help up their content. I used to do that when dd was little and would only eat McDonald's hamburgs for meat (so only got beef once a week.)

Hello dear ladies,

Very sunny and hot day here. Cooked hamburgers on the grill for lunch. Starting to cloud up now.

Slept in a little today after going to bed early. Was just really wore out.

After today I will work three 8 hour days at WM. So house and exercise will not get done.

Going to have a short nap then head to work.

Yesterday I had dinner at church and picked up meds for DCat18. XDH came over and tried to turn on the swamp cooler, but had to get a part. So the cooler was blowing air, but not chilled air. However, this morning it was blowing no air and making a humming noise, so I turned it off. After he and DD10 left, I balanced the checkbook and worked with DFosterCat. She still hisses to greet me, but likes getting petted.

Today, I have ordered some shore excursions for the cruise in July, had lunch with a friend, and got XDH's name off my car title. Tonight is art class, so nothing will be done in the house except preparation for tomorrow. I need to fix my lunch for tomorrow, that is all.

lucylee: The reason I feel hopeless after 504 meetings is that it reminds me that DD has a problem and it does not seem to be getting better. Her main problem is frustration brought about by dyslexia. Dyslexia cannot be cured. I worry about her in school. XDH and some of his family have dyslexia and came out fine, but they didn't have the temper tantrums DD does.
