Hello everyone!

We have more clouds today, but yesterday's clouds and grey skies didn't give us any rain. Hoping today's will.

I'm working on closing out the month here. I got a head start on it last night. Just submitted payroll taxes for the month. And I updated the mileage log. That takes a while. Our odometer quit working years ago and I have to look up all the mileage. I keep pages of lists, places I go to over and over. But there are always new ones and I check other things, like different places to different places along the way. Someday there will be a newer car and it will be easier.

Guess I will drive to a bank later, then stop and pick up some veggies at market stand. I need tomatoes for the sandwiches, and some for here. I think I finally got caught up on sleep! About time, I'd say.

Good Morning All

We are headed out for PT for me and Chiro for DH. Then back here to did out the kitchen and DH to work more on garage.

Then we will walk after dinner when it cools off. Have to get moving this morning for appointments so can't do the morning walk.

Happy Birthday Cowinkie. And many more. How many days till retirement? At work they used to make a paper clip chain of the days and then take one off each day. Made for an easy visual and a great conversation starter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COWINKIE!

It's raining out and has been for a while the ground is wet. This is good news for the things I transplanted this weekend. I slept in with the rain figured that dd would not be helping sil with roofing today I was right. Dgson is ill & home today so it's just as well.

I do have it tomorrow pick her up from pre-school; I need to do a store run any way as I forgot eggs last time I was at the store.

H. is still sleeping.
My bs was up today so I've had meds. and coffee so far this morning.

Does any one celebrate Cinco de Mayo? One of dson's friends asked if we were going to our son's celebration that they had been invited to. We had not heard about it awkward!

Hi everyone! Laundry is spinning, dinner is planned, & I’m enjoying a cup of tea while visiting the village. Some random thoughts after cuop:

Wanted to tell ((Lynlee)) how sorry I am that your guinea pig passed away. Pets are such a big part of the family & so missed when they are gone.

OKay, I’m glad your ddad was alright after his fall.

Smiling when I read Lucylee & Cowinkie doing their summer countdown.

Indi, when you wrote about your stealth garbage drop offs instead of the song you mentioned I kept hearing the theme from the Pink Panther playing in my head!

Loved the story about how your dgrandsons became part of the entertainment at the festival, Harriet! :)

((Kathryn)), so glad you are setting up a dr appt. I had the same problem last year & know how miserable you feel. The solution for my body, after Rx only did not work, ended up being a D&C and progesterone-only birth control pills. From day one GYN put me on iron supplements, too, & kept me on them for weeks until blood tests showed I was back in normal range.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Cowinkie!

I'm still chipping away at an Off My Mind list I wrote last week. Also need to do some pick up & put away in several rooms, & make some phone calls after lunch. Feeling guilty that this is the last day of April & my plan to work in the attic this month just did not work out. Must make some time to get up there before it gets too hot.

Tea is long gone, & dryer buzzed a few minutes ago. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! :)

Happy Birthday Cowinkie!!!

I survived the weekend without DD10. Unfortunately, she had a 'cast off' party (in which one celebrates the removal of an arm cast) on Friday and XDH did not mention it to me. He now agrees that he will inform me of DD events, but used the excuse that since he organized the party, he did not have to tell me. That is ridiculous because what 10 year old organizes a party? I found out about it from a friend that went. He suggested we start having two parties for things, I thought that was ridiculous. During the party I was crocheting at a yarn store, I could have easily made it. Saturday, I slept in, had lunch with friends, crocheted at the yarn shop with a friend, and had dinner with different friends. Sunday, I went to church, came home and napped, had lunch by myself, then went to the Fur Bowl (a fundraiser for an animal org), then had dinner with friends.

Next weekend, I have DD10 all weekend. I have to find some way to entertain her. The church picnic I was going to take her to has been cancelled. Maybe the amusement park on Saturday and children's museum on sunday?

Tonight I need to do at least one LOL and work with foster cat. At payroll I need to install and verify some software.

Taking a break. I've veered off regularly scheduled tasks to focus on some time sensitive project steps.

** called about DH partial that is a week late arriving. They had to track it down and called back saying it is suppose to be delivered at dentist office on Wednesday so have him an appt set up for late Wednesday
** called ISP and discussed network configuration & port forwarding options for MPB. Afterwards, sent email with all the addresses (IP, netmask, gateway, DNS) to person doing the configuration at MPB. He will troubleshoot it tonight.
** looked for and found the next-up date of LO legal proceedings. I knew it was in May, but didn't remember when. If it was the first week of May, then I needed to call today and get particulars of our involvement. It's not so I put a reminder to myself to check with lawyer later.
** Scratched the plan for automatic gate on the fence project. The gate automation has become a drag on this project and I want it done ASAP! Pulled up markers for previous designed fence line & driveway gate, then put new markers in place for current design. It took me over an hour of moving the markers to get them in where they will work best. Fence guy is suppose to be here later today to give us an estimate.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DF COWINKIE. WISH WE WERE THERE!
Indiana, just found your message. I saw you moved it and that is AOK. :D
Today is another Dr. appointment - just for DH today. We did not have great news at our eye doctor last week. I'm still reeling. He has me coming back in 2 weeks for more tests to see if the damage to the optic nerve is from my Graves Disease or Glaucoma. AAACCCKKK! He will also remove my cataracts if I decide for sure I want that. I think so. DH has the beginning of Macular Degeneration. Tuesday next week I have a colonoscopy. I wanted to come home, see all my doctors and be given the clean bill. Oh well!
But - on the happier side. We made our reservations to visit friends in Indianapolis in September. These are friends from the park we stay in in AZ and they came to see us last September. We promised then we would come see them. I am anxious.

Have a great day everyone. :D
I go to nature to be soothed and healed , and to have my senses put in order. John Burroughs

Norma please remind me in August you will be in Indy in September. It is 2 hours southeast from here straight down I-65. Depending on how I'm feeling maybe we can meet.
