Confident Friday

"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours" - Henry David Thoreau

May you all have a confident conga Friday.

I still need to CUOP. I'm confident that I can come back later and reply to you all.

I am advancing confidently in the direction of Atlanta this morning! I need to get moving as I have to drop off at cleaners and go by the temple to pick up the hand cart.

Kathryn, I still owe you a response and will do so later today, I hope!

I am planning to s2s after I get back from the trip today - yesterday was sweaty business and I hope to go to temple tonight.

Twin's: No rush.

Confidence. I seem to have put mine with my energy, motivation, and attention span.

I have to gain confidence that I can complete the goal of being totally ready for trip north (Wed) WITHOUT having to scurry at the last minute. Today & Monday are shot I'm afraid. Fid finish wrapping all the gifts for the baby shower yesterday.

I'm up but that's about it. Have to be to church in about 90 minutes. Then I'm going to DSisIL's till about 2:30. Picking up gd at that point but I don't have to bring her home. I'm taking her to dd (who has Relay for Life tonight). Guess DsonIL is picking up gd around 10 tonight (or perhaps earlier depending on her behavior). DD is really looking forward to having a few days off minus child.

Monday DSisIL and I are going to the clothing outlet store so famous in FL. Going to lunch and now also have to go find a nice fan for their dining room. DH put a gorgeous one in for them a few years ago but the fan all of a sudden (of course after dh, the electrical engineer, went home) started only doing one speed -fast. So dbil tried to fix it yesterday and couldn't. When he put the lamp globes back on one became cross-threaded and no matter what he couldn't move it. So now it's 'hanging'. So that's our job Monday too.

Today I plan (PLAN) to go through about 6 decorative boxes of memorabilia and other "stuff". Want to sort it and perhaps take just one box home with me. I am picturing our van very full. DH has been saying he'd like to buy a car and I told him as long as he keeps 'buying' here and up there for the 'other place', there's no way. We wouldn't have room -but then perhaps that isn't such a bad idea. He-he-he!

Ok, I'm off to s2s land.
Katherine, Confidence. I seem to have put mine with my energy, motivation, and attention span.
I agree! Where IS mine?

Cool - The moon will become full Saturday at 11:35 p.m. EDT. And because this month's full moon coincides with the moon's perigee — its closest approach to Earth — it will also be the year's biggest...

I did! (The traffic reporter mentioned it this morning on the radio.)

I've finished the treadmill and s2s (although my hair is still wet.) I've eaten breakfast, had my tea and chocolate and done my devotions. Yesterday's dishes are put away as well. Still need to finish tidying the bedroom and drying my hair.

I think today will be a timer day.

Good morning! Last night I went to art class and finally got something done on my painting. I did nothing else last night except basic cat care. I found out the 3rd person for our July cruise is very ill and may not be able to go. Colon cancer. I get DD10 starting at 8:00 tonight and have her all weekend. She has a diorama on New Hampshire to make this weekend. Fortunately, she has ideas on what she wants to make. So Saturday morning we will work on that, then go to an amusement park. She wants to go to the library too. I need to check the hours. Sunday we will go to church then do more diorama. I don't know what else we will be doing. It is so hard to think of entertainment for her. I also need to get some paperwork done and sent. Back to payroll and script updating.
