Yes, lots of planning. But not here. I'm just hoping / planning on getting everything around here caught up.

Been working at my desk so far.

Had lots of emails to send about my friend passing. I finally called her and asked if she needed meals or anything but she didn't as she will be leaving soon for northern funeral. She had a nice story to tell me about something that had cheered her up and made her "connect" with the DH.

I better get back to it.

It is official we received 4 inches of rain late last night/early this morning.

Good morning! I had an adventure of a weekend. First off I had DD10 the entire weekend. When she arrived at 8:00 on Friday, she was in a wet bathing suit and went immediately to the shower. The shower head promptly fell off! XDH fixed it while DD went to my newly resealed shower (yeah! it's done!). We settled some financial stuff. Saturday morning she worked on her diorama for her school project, then we met a friend for lunch and a trip to see a civil war reenactment. By the time we got there the events were over so we got the schedule and decided to go Sunday. We bought popguns for the kids and let them run off some energy. We all drove back and had dinner. DD wanted them to come over but her friend wanted to go home, so we went to the park instead. The moon was beautiful, but not bright enough. I lost my car keys there! We walked home to get flashlights and spare keys and walked back. Miracle of miracles a boy found the key! Needless to say we got to bed late. Next day, we met friends for breakfast then drove to the reenactment. DD wore her union captain's outfit and i bought her a hat. The other kid dressed in blue and got a hat as well. People took their pictures. Over lunch we lost the keys to our friend's truck! They were eventually found in the trash can. The kids loved being union spies for the day. DD's archenemy was there too, and they became friends again. We will see how long that lasts. After DD went back to XDH, I updated Quicken and transferred some money.

Tonight I have to do some paperwork and adjust the sprinkler timer. My friend told me about a divorce care class at his church, but it is at the same time as my art class.

Elizabeth wow you were busy!

Snack time is done dgd had that on the go. We are back from our walk we saw the baby horse, new cows, baby goats, and banty free range chickens in a yard loosed getting bugs. Weather was great. Weather is great here today.

Now dgd is watching a Franklin segment.
Then lunch and some time this afternoon when the grass dries off we will go outside and do some side walk chalk play in the back yard. It takes longer b/c of the shade to dry off.

I've boiled and peeled eggs.
Lunch is done.
We've had story time.

H. & dd showed up to fetch rakes broom etc. I helped him find tools for this I'd moved;
some of them were mine. They are off to the dump to unload old shingles.
So dgd & dd got to have a hug and bit of a water break.

One thing about our situation is that h. has been able to work with both kids in the last
week if he had a diff. job he would not have been able to do that. Hey my attitude must be improving!

Dgd wanted to mix up muffins so they are in the oven now. I forgot to get more mix when I was at the store so will have to get some more next trip, I think there are a couple of kinds we have not done yet.

Hi everyone.

Checking in after making a container of egg salad and some deviled eggs. I'm a little frustrated with myself because I left the salt out of the deviled eggs (don't use it in the salad, so neglected to have it on the counter). But I'm sure they will be okay.

Swept and mopped the kitchen floor and Pledge-d the counter stool. Load of towels washed folded and put away.

HRH called to say he'd be able to pick up a few things on our list, which I read him over the phone. That will be helpful. He's also picking up the chicken feed.

I have a DPC to get to. Have called in a prescription today, too.

Wow, can't believe it's already 3:20. I don't feel like I have found a chair to sit in, so where has the day gone... .oh, yes I did - I browsed online some! Time wasting activity! LOL.

helia, glad to hear you are happy with the remodeling so far. I'm sure you will be happy to see it end.

My mission is the Year End Accounting. I'm plugging away and making good progress but the number of interruptions are unbelievable.

Ds did walk here today. Sort of an endurance test for Australia. He did 25.5 kilometers in 4 hours and 55 seconds. He was really pleased with himself. Now I know I live 25.5 km away from him (actually he was able to cut through parking lots and a couple of closed road allowances to shorten the distance slightly.)

Dh is taking him back right now. I took over an hour off over the lunch hour and made him something to eat and played a game with him. Then he lay out in the sun for a bit to rest.

I've also got a load of laundry washed and on the line.

Kitchen is a disaster area.

My mood is black.

Choir is in 2 hours and dh still has to come home and cook me dinner.

The Italian client, over a week late, finally confirmed he wants dh there. So then dh went to book the flights and the cheap airfare is gone. I didn't have time today to mess with that (besides, he has to fly into Berlin the day one airport closes and another opens so the airline wasn't taking online reservations.) I worked a bit of magic and got the price down to within 400 of the original quote and then left it with dh to figure out. Mainly it was thinking outside the box, don't fly to Rome, fly to Berlin first and then down to Rome - that knocked a lot of money off the price.

When the dust settles from the accounting, I'll see what dh has booked for himself.

DD went to the CVS minute clinic today and she has strep - got antibiotics so hopefully she will be on the mend soon! I'm going to make pasta - cheese tortellini with pesto - tonight for supper and that will be easy on her throat. She said she had a 101 temp when she got up this morning so it was time to get her checked out.

I am dying of boredom at work.

Dee DD must feel on top of the world with her new body and clothes. Tell her congratulations from someone that has been there.

Twins are you excited that you have a date to move?

Nancy you provide a lot of entertainment to you dgrandkids on their walks.

Lilac your trip sounds fabulous.

Your grandkids are the same ages my dnieces dkids are OKay. Those are great ages. The girls are 3 & 5 and the boy 1.

How are you doing getting caught up Harmony?

Elizabeth an adventure is an understatement.

Kathryn I wish there was some way for you to send me your data each moth and it wouldn't be so hard at the end.

I got an A on my tests and Jake got A+ on his. His trainer was here. She was amazed how far he has come. She said many people don't devote the time to train like I have and wonder why it isn't working. We went through all his new things amd new words. He loves his crate and he will accept wearing the e-collar soon. She put mvelcro on it. The clips were too hard for me to work.

Oh, no, Indiana, we don't have a firm date! It's looking like end of June, tho. Like I said, I really haven't done much here in terms of getting ready to move!

I am about to shut down and leave payroll for the night. I have my list of things to do tonight, there are 7 things on it. I did not list general pick up and cat care, so those also have to be done. Some are easy, some not so. Some take almost no time, some take more time. I also looked into some of the shore excursions for my cruise. It is fast approaching and I have a great deal to do.
