THOROUGLY THURSDAY

Post by DeeClutter »

I want to thoroughly clean/declutter the lower cabinets in our hutch today. Think that's about as 'thorough' as I'll get for today. Yesterday I overslept until 8:15 -today I was wide awake at 5. DH has already gone to do some puttering work this morning. Left his phone though and someone called before 7 to see how he was doing. Glad I was already awake.

It's cool here this morning but supposed to reach 80's rather quickly. DH asked if I wanted the heater on. Opted for putting on my fuzzy robe -trying to make our electric be less than it was last year.

DH is going to go watch one of our friend's daughters play in a softball tournament this afternoon. I'm going to meet them later and dh and I are going out to dinner.

LucyLee, hope your last school days of the year pass quickly for you.

So good to see Indiana back home IRL & most of all -here! We've missed you and are so glad you're feeling better. Please stay that way!

Aaaaah, Dee, yeah. It borders on frightening because I don't know what I want! And it's permanent and expensive, LOL.

Happy birthday to Dee!

Oh it is good to be home.

I like the hospital. Everyone is so nice and they take good care of me and know me from before.

I went in on 4 liters of oxygen. ER put me on 6 liters and I came home on 2 liters. I am working on getting ogg oxygen or at least staying on 2 liters.

They have the coolest new toy. I wish they had it last time when I had to have so many blood draws and IVs. It is a machine that when you shine the light on you arm or back of your hand shows the veins. I knew where one was and I could feel it. The nurse couldn't feel it so when the light was on it she could see it.

They are glad that I know where good veins are and where to draw blood and where to insert IVs. My black and blue areas are reduced.

They couldn't find any internal bleeding to cause my anemia. So they think is it from March's 6 pints of blood and my cut last month. So it caused my breathing to decrease and the increase of pollen turned on my congestive heart failure (CHF). I haven't had serious CHF in years.

What would we do without Indiana? Happy Birthday, Dee!!!!

I'm standing on the treadmill trying to get a quick post in. I might be disappearing for the day in order to stay away from my computer. It is just a thought at this point, not a plan.

I did get the CDs made up for my friend last night so hope to go visit her. We had invited her down to the Seaway on Sunday but she was too depressed to make such a long (45 minutes) drive. So she is my top priority for today.

As well, I have to write two children's times for church, Pentecost and our 150th anniversary. I'm still debating baking a cake during service and the others are working that into celebration so I need to commit today. Honestly, sometimes I think I need to be committed since this does sound like a crazy idea. What does it say about my church family that they are willing to enable me when I have such ideas?!

Excited for Twins too! Will we get to see photos of the new house? :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEE!!

I am running out the door. Moms group end-of-the-year picnic is this morning. Since I'm the steering committee chair, I get to be there early and set up.

I am getting my hair cut this morning. You still can't see that it is growing out. It is amazing how well my old stylist matched my natural hair color with the base color of my high and low lights.

I'll go to lunch here and then get Jake.
