I have accomplished very little on my list today but that is OK.

Every where I went I was stopped by someone to see how I was, why I went to the hospital and tell me their news. I enjoyed their news but I wish I could have done a CALL ALL with why I went and how I am doing.

A CALL ALL is a recorded message we get about a code gray, or black or if something is happening in the lounge or somewhere in the facility as a reminder. If I could have done a call all it would have given me more time to get their news. A friend of mine here and I had lunch so we could catch up and then went to get Jake. I found a plug in the garage for another friend to plug in her scooter so she can leave it there. It is where I park my car so I know it eill be out of the way and protected by the alcove.

I got a lot of compliments on my hair cut so I stopped and told the stylist about the compliments. She cut our hair a while ago and then they got someone that was to be full time and they quit so she is doing it again. She does a wonderful job.

I sent my winter coat out to be cleaned.

One of my neighbors had back surgery on Monday and was walking in the hall. Jake cried when he saw her and was very gentle. He just nudged her leg with his nose and for some reason knew she couldn't pet him.

I chatted with one of the maintenance guys. He wanted to catch up on a meeting I went to before the hospital for residence. He is the one that found the plug for me. He is the one that has the trash can where I put my boxes and papers I have shredded.

He drives a pick up truck and I told him today that every time I go by his truck to walk Jake I want to close the lock on his gate. His comment was he knows that bugs me and he is just waiting until I close it. He is the one I told tht he needs to build a crate to put the hoses in and other things. He knows I like things just so.

WE were talking at lunch - I never realized that pudding is not low sodium. I keep mhearing neat things abolut coconut oil like the high cooking temp but it isn't healthy for your heart.

Kathryn I could be way off base but I don't think you are too young for a bone density test.

Because of the amount of weight I carried for so many years that is one thing my doctor says I will not have trouble with,.

Indiana: not quite yet. I'm not post-menopausal and don't have any other indicators.

Didn't get anything done today. Am heading off to bed so I reboot tomorrow, nice and fresh.

Congratulations CoWinkie!

(I'm still up by accident. Dd's godbrother wrote to ask for our family's sugar cookie recipe - and to let us know that he's out of rez now and in an apartment so has a kitchen.)

Mowing is done now it's supposed to be pretty windy here tomorrow so I decided to get it done while it was calm outside instead of a longer walk this evening.

I believe I've heard that it's good to get a bone density test early so they have a gauge to go by as the years progress.

Hello, villagers ~
Happy birthday, Dee!
Nice to meet you, Ellyphant.

I've been picking away at the sewing group newsletter. I would really like to take it to the printer tomorrow. Tonight I need to get it to the point that I can relax enough to be able to sleep.

Oh speaking of relaxing ...
Last night I ran into this video about an old-time toy maker:

Now I want to find a book to learn how to make these toys.
They are so cool!

Well, I'm another "lucky" one who is already singing "School's Out for Summer!!!"
Hooray!!!

Too much to reply too, but I wanted to be sure to say --

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEE!!!

and
WELCOME, Ellyphant...

and
CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement, Cowinkie!!!

Long day, but I got everything packed away & cleaned up for summer. Even had time to finish some paper work (computer Personal Development Plan) that I thought I'd have do here at home.

Graduation was nice, very hot, but didn't last too long -- about an hour.
Party @ dh's cousin's house was nice, just family & people her daughter & sil go to church with. (Dcousin's sil is a preacher.)

We're pretty well packed up, and we'll be getting on the road in the morning. I'm not sure I'll have time to check in before we leave. If not -- I'll see y'all Tuesday! Have a great weekend!
Tomorrow is another day.
