Dh called from Modena while I was eating dinner. He is at the hotel he'll be staying at this week but decided not to pay 7 euros for internet since he's only going to be in the hotel 4 hours over the next 24 hours and intends to use that time to sleep.
He missed that last train from Bologna to Modena but there was a bus that ran from the airport at Bologna to Modena so he took a bus instead.
He's not selling me on the idea that I should be traveling with him!

Re: Memorial Day Monday
Kathryn I used apple cider vinegar as a rinse for my hair too for many years. It brought the red out in it. I had to stop when I started coloring it because they react very badly. I also used lemon juice in the summer to bring the highlights out.
Sadie I hope your co-worker will report the guy. She could have gotten badly hurt. The next person he does it to may not be so lucky and get badly hurt.
((OKay)) not right, not fair not....

Re: Memorial Day Monday
Good afternoon everyone. I also am honoring the memory of those who have given of themselves for our freedoms. I am proud of those in my and dh's families who have served their country.
We're spending another quiet day, no company and staying home. I've finished straightening up the house and done a lol, but that's all. I still don't have all my energy back. Dh is about the same as yesterday, no energy and still coughing. I'm taking him to the dr. tomorrow.
Indiana, 98* --- wow that's hot no matter where in the country, but I think it's harder on people who are not used to that kind of heat all the time. How's Jake, is he still clinging to you?
Dee, we don't subscribe to our local paper anymore to save the $$, but it's $195./yr all week; $65./yr Sunday only; $130./yr Thur thru Sun. When we pick up the Sun. paper it's $1.00. Of course prices are more for 13 or 26 weeks.
Sadie, I agree that the employee needs to be fired. No excuse for letting him treat a fellow associate like that. Hope she didn't get hurt in the fall and I hope mgmt. follows up on this issue. And I meant to tell you that one of our stores is going to have a make over this summer and they will be bringing back a full sewing dept., material and all!
Lilac, I hope dd2 gets her business going without too many more "pauses".
Norma, dinner out sounds good. Hope all goes smoothly with upcoming appointments.
((OKay and dgs17)). How wonderful for dgs17 that you care so much for him. It's so not fair to play with his feelings like that at such a young impressionable age. Those negative feeling he will remember for a long, long time.
((Harriet)), so sorry your family had tragedy in their history. It's good that dd13 not have to know about such things at this time in her life!
Helia, it's so nice that you have a true day of rest! Good luck on your upcoming race!
MT, you sure get to see a lot of different wildlife. I enjoy seeing the pictures you post about your part of the country.
((Harmony)), I wish you could get away for a while. It's hard being stuck in a rut with no time for rejuvenation. Your work with the church is such a blessing.
Hope Twins and family are having a nice time without the bad weather.
Hope I'm not forgetting anyone.

Way cool I caught an A-fib episode on my pulse-ox. I don't usually catch it on it. My heart rate was 121 beats per minute just sitting. I was waiting to see how high it would go. It dropped from there to my normal of 76 right away.
Way cool.

Indiana....that very interesting! Can you feel it when your heart beats like that? When dh was in hosp and they asked him he said he could not feel it. Nurse said some people can't tell when it is happening.

Sunny, I wish we could get away too. I don't usually want to travel, I'm such a homebody. But recently, the responsibilities and daily grind seem a bit much. By the time DH finally retires, and we get rid of responsibilities, he may need to have something done with his hip, so I don't know if I will ever get my wish. I guess for now I must just pray for contentment. I hope your DH is ok. Let us know what the dr. says. His cold hasn't settled in his lungs, has it?
Indiana, yes, that is cool, and very smart of you to understand what you're seeing. I wonder what mine's doing when I feel it racing? I'm glad it doesn't happen very often. Mine feels like a butterfly in there.

Re: Memorial Day Monday
I'm happy at home. One of the church families has had a late-teen child in a car accident so I'm here to take over their tasks for the 150th Anniversary. Couldn't do that if I was away.
Choir practice was fun but I showed up too early (Friday is 6:30, Monday at 7) so I helped feed the kids dinner and made sure our musician sat down and ate too.
I found a missing cheque when I sorted through some paperwork tonight.
I have a very busy day tomorrow. On the plus side, my senior friend called for me to take her out shopping, so that means she is feeling a bit stronger.

Lots of posting and questions right now by some of our newest members in the Organization and Simplification forum area.
Twins' Mom, in your current vacation location everyone should be quite excited tonight as the local men's group just made a huge splash on America's Got Talent. Wow. Their group's name is "All That" and I must say I was very impressed.
