Ooooooh, I like OKay's motivator! Determination!

Between what the cleaning lady will do and what I've done, once I s2s I will have finished a.m. routine. Most of dailies will be done as well, thanks to dcleaning lady.

This round:
-email temple bookkeeper regarding transfer I just made (in addition to the matters listed on PODA)
-get up stuff on front stairwell that I moved there from straightening downstairs
-bring down iPad & sync to computer
-take bag upstairs now and unpack
-write ck for cleaning lady

My 82 yo aunt called last night to invite me to a party She's having for her two cousins and my dad's 80th bd in a few weeks. A family reuion of sorts. Wanted to know if we could make it but I declined. h. does not travel very well and cars both need tires.

I called my dsis on my new phone it was raining and she did not have good reception in the town she was in and about every other word was cutting out that was frustrating. The guy at the phone store said our old phones had bigger speaker on them and we might notice a difference so I've had to have the volume turned up more.

This motivated me read on
Something got tweaked on my pc programs links are showing up in the text on some posts for example if I type a work you could shop for a dress for example will have a link for it; very irritating and distracting had to figure out where it came from so tossed two apps I put on yesterday. Yahoo has some new stuff going on with their groups as well. Yahoo is doing some modifications and changes in there groups calendars and other stuff as well I notice an announcement on the top of one of my group home pages. Glad that's off!

Is there a way to look up stuff like is on ancestry.com only w/out having to pay like at a library or public records some where? Suddenly I've gotten interested / sucked in to that! Ack the morning has disappeared on me. *poofers*

Good morning to all!
My motivator? Hmmm... the scales were very motivating after all our travel of the past week.
Otherwise... I guess knowing the sense of satisfaction (and relief!) I'll have when everything is done!

Today's PODA:
[x] exercise/walk
* walked 3 miles outdoors
[x] talked to dcousin re: dggaunt, who may have her feelings hurt re: baby shower * sigh *
[x] s2s
[x] ironing lady
[x] car tags
[x] post office
[x] Wmart
[ ] talk to dmil about buying swing rather than baby monitor
* I talked to daunt last night, and she said neither of my dcousins used one -- both w/children under age 5. She agreed that with ds/ddil's house so tiny, they didn't need one.
[ ] see new ultrasound of dgbaby
[ ] go to movie w/dh -- we're planning to see For Greater Glory tonight -- I think that's the title -- it's a true story about the persecution of the Catholic church by the Mexican govt, back in the 1800s, I think -- supposed to be VERY good, according to reviews.

I couldn't sleep last night b/c I started worrying about how on earth ds and ddil think they can afford a baby! LOL -- I KNOW -- it's just a little late for THAT concern, isn't it? And it's really none of my business at all.
The night before, I couldn't sleep b/c I was worrying about how we can juggle dh's desire to GO all the time w/our need to help w/babysitting when ddil is working and ds is out of town.
I am also worrying about the baby shower, etc... and Father's Day weekend...
I think I'm approaching PMS week. Maybe that's it.

I hope you ALL have a great day! I'll be back when I have some progress to report!

Our motivation today is to rest. To that end we are having a very relaxing morning. So far I have filled the meds containers, eaten breakfast and cut my hair (haven't put the stuff away yet). I'm still in my night gown and plan to stay that way until I change into my swim suit at 1 pm to go swimming.

DH is making a list as he has to go to hardware store for some glue - part of the counter fell off on a rough stretch of road construction. It looks like it was glued before so we will re-do it.

I feel very lazy -but it also feels good to relax. Back to my book!!

We all KNOW it always happens......

When we least are ready for company it always arrives. DH brought DFriend home with him to pick up some extra tires we have in barn (tires will be used on DFriend spray rig). Thank goodness for VDFriends who don't care if the house isn't at its best!!

Seems like I'm not making much progress. Received phone calls from DDIL, DMIL and DMom. each call last 20-30 minutes while they tell me about their happenings.

It is raining with thunder and lightning so LO is stuck indoors and needing some extra attention.

I was able to finally get 100 each water sample bottles ordered for MPB. It is time to take water sample to the lab and they have stopped providing bottles. I searched several websites without finding what I needed before it :!: dawned on me :!: that I was searching for the wrong thing. I then did a search for urine sample bottles and found what I needed.....4 oz sterile plastic bottles with wide-mouth tight-fitting lid. Success!!

Where OH Where in this list is anything to do with cleaning our home?????

next up is dining room

My motivation is to keep everything going at an even keel, that I'm not embarrassed if someone comes in, I like the peace I feel when things are tidy. I don't like the frustration when things go undone, bills unpaid, when I can't find things (that's a biggy). I have to keep on top of DH's things too or the business suffers.

Doing things timely saves time and money, don't you think? No late fees. No hunting for stuff. Motivation!

Today to keep everything going, I hung up one LOL, paid a couple bills, ran out and bought a birthday gift for DGS who turns 2 today, came home and wrapped, went back out to post office. See, if I'd been more on top of the calendar, I'd have seen his birthday and his gift wouldn't be late. Dailies done, dishes, bed made. Not a bad start to the day.

I'm also motivated, if I get necessary stuff done I'll have time for sewing!

I took a break while the cleaning lady finished up the downstairs. Now need to get restarted. Have printed out the PODA from earlier to keep by my side.

-phone call to dr office re cancelling dkids appt
-deal with work email -appears we will need more information from client anyway.
-send emails regarding two of four temple issues
-call the blind lady to set up appt

Today is dd14's math final exam; it is across 2 days, but she is choosing to finish it after school today, since she has a Dr. appt. tomorrow right in the middle of math class. I'm thinking of her. Math is one of her strengths, but still. . . . .

We're set with an appt. with the oboe technician tomorrow before dd14's oboe lesson.

x coffee with dh
x a.m. routine
x settled on date for ds' grad party - June 30 works better after all! The kids are in Haiti until June 27.
x created invitation on snapfish; may not use
x created invitation on evite - sent out.
x made meal plan for this week; not sure what will happen Wednesday, ds' graduation day. He is there early to rehearse the graduation ceremony, and then to rehearse with the band, which will be playing. Graduation starts at 6 pm, right during dinner time anyway. . . . ..
x made a li&t for the week

Next:
-devo time
-finalize groc. list
-groc. store

Helia - DDIL uses evite too. Glad you were able to find a better date for DS graduation celebration.

CI -
** ordered 3 of DH medications (90 day supply)
** cooked mashed potatoes, green beans and fish sticks. This is one of LO favorite meals so he thought Lunch was extra good. :D
** supervised LO vacuuming the dining room floor while I cooked lunch. He does a good job......for a 3 year old. :)
** kitchen cleaned up (again). DW unloaded/loaded/running (again)

I am fascinated with amazon shipping. How do they do it???? Saturday at 4:07pm I ordered a new rain gauge. It was just delivered by the rural mail carrier.....which means the amazon package had to arrive at our little town post office early this morning before the one-an-only mail carrier left to make rural deliveries. I find this amazing. Especially since shipping is "free" (prime subscription).
