Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
In spite of lollygagging too much yesterday, I'm willing to get things done today! There are at least a thousand things OMM so a thousand ways to get things done will be welcomed.
PODA not in any particular order:
-dh wants me to call regarding payment for appliance for new house
-at new house, measure to be sure refrigerator will fit
-groceries
-dr appt at 11
-meet our realtor at current house at 1 p.m.
-cleaners
-call the lady about blinds and reschedule appt
-set up temple meeting regarding roof
-post office to mail pkg
-sundry other items, as Helia mentioned yesterday
This would normally be my errand day, but I'm not sure how long the meeting here at home will be, and I don't want to set out on a big errand run too late in the afternoon. I think I can get groceries before my trip back up the mountain to meet realtor.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
OH SO TRUE!!
Twins - thank you for that reminder!
I have a willing heart today. Now if I can just keep my mind where it is suppose to be..........
CI -
** calendar synched. Noticed DD birthday is quickly approaching. Need to get gift into mail today
** Weather checked. Going to be raining a big portion of today. Outside time is going to be limited. MUD PUDDLES are on my mind as I select LO clothes for today.
he went through 2 pairs of shoes yesterday. One pair still needs to be cleaned up ....thought it would be easier to let the mud dry and chip it off.
** PODA made - Regular Wednesday schedule with a couple modifications to include traveling to get DGS17, DGS15 before church meal. Also included hour to make/bake cookies to take tonight, Need to go to cellar this morning to check if have empty plastic tub to use in sorting LO clothes during project hour. If no empty tub available - ask DH to pick one up so it will be available this afternoon.
** MPB daily gross processed - 3 days worth. Being behind in routinely is discouraging. Just keep moving forward……. On the bright side - repetition does make tasks faster. I remember when it would take me 3-4 times longer to do this task.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
I love the opening today! Thank you, Twins!
I'm up.
I've watered the plants (a Monday chore.)
I've made my tea and had some chocolate.
Dh made it to the airport just fine for his first flight and his second flight is in the air now. No word from dh so I'll assume he's on it! He gets in at 3 p.m.
I'm at lose ends. I have no time to be at lose ends, but I am.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
They have noisy birds in Kansas!! I don't know what kind it is but it woke me this morning. The bird can't tell time and realize I've crossed 2 time zones in the last few days and need all the sleep I can get.
We have a short trip today with a stop in Dodge City to make it two really short trips. We will be Wally camping tonight in Great Bend. Then we will have two nights in a real campground. That will be good as our tanks are almost full. It is nice to be self contained.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
Another great quote to start off the day!
I, like Twins, have a thousand things OMM.
K in C. You're off to a great start! Keep it up.
MT, you are in a part of the country I know well! I visited SW KS 2x/year every year growing up. My mother's family is from that area, closer to Meade. My uncle and a cousin are still in the aread. Ddad grew up in Dodge City so not too far away either. Ironically, they grew up in the same area of the country and met while they were both doing grad work at Univ. of Ill. I can't think of the birds, though. Not a sort of grackle?
Today is ds' high school graduation!
-- That about sums up my reaction.
I enjoy hearing of your involvement with your dgkids, OK.
Like Twins, I'm going to post my PODA, not in any particular order.
Already done:
-breakfast,
- emails,
-note for dd14 to get out early for Dr.'s appt.,
-drove dd14 to school,
- put out recycling,
-washed out gross recycling tub.
PODA:
- coffee with dh
- a.m. routine
- 3 oboes packed and put in the mail to send back to the vendor
- weeding?
- check on bills
- print out sports physical info. before pedi. appt.
- dd14 to pedi. appt.
- finish dd14's camp paperwork
- put camp paperwork in the mail (long story - will do separately from the oboe pkg. b/c will do after the Dr. appt.)
- take dd14 shopping for shoes - sandals for graduation and good sports shoes for field hockey (playing on turf)
- check with friend R about going to ds' graduation w/ us and possibly out to a nice restaurant afterward (S is out of town)
- leave at 5:15 for ds' graduation
- watch the graduation ceremonies!
- out to eat? This depends on dd16 who has a big science test tomorrow. Her grade is on the line in this class, so she may want to spend time later tonight studying; not sure how this will work out with graduation + restaurant -- we'll find out soon!
Maybe todos:
- get oil in van changed in prep for driving down to my parents on Friday
- set up 2nd doodle for scheduling moms group leadership team dinner out
- jog? Even a short one?
- some weeding?
I'm not sure I can fit in a jog today; I couldn't do it yesterday either. Monday was out b/c of the 5K on Sunday. It is just that kind of week. That's OK; not all weeks will be like this. Summer is coming. Summer is coming.
Off to the games!

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
Progress here. Tuesday weekly kitchen chores are done. Plus the dishes are done up so dh will come home to a clean kitchen.
Now to get to work on the rest of the main floor (the bedroom level is fine.)
