** Vacuumed dining room good and the middles of the other rooms
** LO pushed Shmop around following me. I finished up after he went outdoors (again)
** changed battery in LO jeep. Since DH removed the governor screw, LO can now go faster (maybe 5mph) but the down side is the battery has to be replaced/recharged daily.
** Dusted/decluttered dining room. Started a fresh GW bag and added several things to the bag as I put up/put away & decluttered.
Next up - LO lessons

Love the quote Twins.
It is another bright day here with cool temps.
I wonder how Norma is doing today.
I have been up and moving since 5 am. I'm hiding out in my suite today though.
I had contact with enough griping people yesterday to last me for a while.

Indiana, you'd fit right in as a temple president if you're dealing with grippy people! I've had a guy call me every day for the last three days for an extended discussion, which I finally broke down and had with him this morning.
I need to head out soon. Got all that round done, plus the long phone discussion, folding some laundry, sending a very long email, and a few other things.
Before I go:
-get grocery list
-finish cleaning up coffee grounds
-wipe out the freezer with some alcohol?

Re: Phones do any of you add. text with the voice programs in your phones?
I've not used that prog. yet as we do not surf. the web. w/ phone b/c of the extra $ it takes.
My old message for voice mail was still on the system so I was happy that I did not have to redo that! Yea!
I'm having coffee waiting for my meds. to kick in. Desk day here hoping to get some reading done today started another book have a "chicken note book" going for notes ideas plans and clippings!
So will see if I have any thing else that goes in it as well.
No rain here today and we might get a sun break or two.
I have granny duty today for most of the day so I better get off here.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
I'm getting the gripes from staff and residents. The residents about - fee increase (slight), garage door still not working (ordered the part it is here now), the food (it is good), the service (it is good). So in other words they are just griping to be griping.
The staff is one security (part time) and one guy who is the floor tech. The gripe about pay, management, work load, things keep breaking down (no more than normal), etc.
I decided they gripe and are vocal about it because they came from the mills and that is the norm.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
Good Morning! Indiana - I am doing just fine! It is a piece of cake! Next Tuesday will be the right eye.
Okay, yesterday you mentioned Crispy. I have thought of her so many times. I suppose she is on FB and I - at DH's request - don't do that. I think Cathie in Eugene is also on there. Eons ago the first SheFest was in the Tri Cities. I remember that Crispy and Cynthia (CEO) were there and I have forgotten who else attended that first one. The second was at my home in Sparks with Cathie in Eugene, Windy, Desert Donna and myself. It was so much fun getting to know each other. I miss those days. So long ago. I wonder about Sarge, Worthy and others whose names have gone from my aging memory. The friendships that have developed over the years from this forum! I love it! Especially Cowinkie and myself and our DHs.
I have to go to see my tiny little Chinese doctor this morning so he can check the eye out. It seems that everyone in Carson Valley has had his expert little hands do their cataracts.
He is the best.

Helia: I think it is a mocking bird as s/he doesn't repeat his song. It is really pretty - just that we were parked by HIS tree and the bedroom window was open.
DH and I have each had our showers - man that feels good after skipping and just "washing up" for a few days. Our tanks will be emptied tomorrow so we feel we could fill them a bit today.
Ready to get on the road. Just two hours to Dodge City and then another 1 or 1 1/2 to our night camp.

Re: Willing Heart Wednesday
We have a mocking bird out on our berm, MT. They are noisey (boisterous if you ask me!) birds. But we love listening to his/her songs. Somewhere I think he listened to a power tool as one song sounds very much like one.
But for the most part their songs are beautiful -louder and clearer than the originals. But 5am IS too early. Maybe they need a clock.
I slept poorly and finally came out to the recliner about 2:15. Got up at 5:20 and turned on the heat. It was 56 in here. Next time I got up was 9am! DH came in then to see if I wanted to try a new restaurant in town for breakfast. Another couple from camp came in and joined us.
Stopped on the way back to get some purple balloons. DH is going to blow up 5 with helium. I plan to tie them to our deck for the day and release them early this evening.
The only thing I got done earlier was to s2s and make the bed. I've picked up a little since we got back and now it's time to get serious about it.
BTW, LucyLee, I have a smart phone. Got it this winter when I was near dd so I could 'learn' it. It actually was quite easy and I love it. DD and I do text quite a bit. A kid in her class commented after Christmas: "Do you know what my Grandpa got for Christmas? He got an iPad. What's he need with an iPad, he's OLD!" DD asked him how old his Grandpa was -2 years YOUNGER than dd. So she told student that and added "I have an Ipad, and iphone, a k indle fire and I'm older than your Grandpa!
" I do manage to get pics of all the dgks this way and that's an added plus when we're so far away all winter.
