Good Morning Dear Ladies,

Sunshine here.

Been tweaking my routines again.

This time I'm following the old nursery poem, you know the one, this is the way we wash our clothes so early Monday morning. So I've scaled back some of the dailies to weeklies and just concentrate on that one chore for that day. Monday was laundry, Tuesday was all floors -sweep, mop, vaccuum. Today I cleaned bathrooms and tomorrow I will dust. I also cleaned the fridge today. I know by the time Monday rolls around the floors will look bad but I will ignore them until Tuesday again. Will see how this goes.

Have to exercise yet too. Spend some time in the sunshine and get ready for work.

Not good. I can't find my little card case that is my wallet. I had it w my iPhone before I left to go to dr office and thought that I had put it in my purse with my iPhone. Luckily, I realized it before stopping for groceries and getting to the checkout with a full basket of groceries! I thought that I had left it at home, but I've searched here at home and checked out my car pretty thoroughly and don't find it. Left a message on dr's voice mail asking them to look for it and call if it's there. I don't recall taking it out while I was there, tho, unless it just slid out of my purse. I can't go out right now to backtrack there because realtor is coming in 25 minutes.

Twins you might call it and see if any one answers it. btdt w/ h's phone found it at a cafe' yea! they answered it so we had to buzz back on back to get it was the only draw back.

H. said he put his photo on the screen saver, thinking about contact info. so it's easy to contact us if the phone is lost as he's left it behind this happens!

Aw, Twins, I hope you find it quickly. I hate it when I lose things. Usually I leave my phone in the car and it's a while before I find it.

Chugging along today. Called dfriend from church about info for my minutes and she clarified a couple things for me. This lady is so sweet. We discovered she comes to the chiropractor about 6 blocks from me once a week, so she is going to come here afterwards next time. Yikes! I looked around with "fresh" eyes and boy I need to do some pickup. I think she goes Wednesdays. This is the lady who lives in a very upscale community and she has cleaning help. But she is very very nice and I feel comfortable with her.

OKay, I love reading LO stories. He sounds so cute and must be so much company for you.

It is cloudy and sprinkled a couple times today. I have beef stew going on the stove. I ran out to store and bought a 1x6 for DH and took it to him. We had one here but I couldn't tell if it was pressure treated or not. It's hard for me to decide if it's PT or just dirty. He said it would have been ok. Anyway, that's about it today besides all the usual stuff. I've been sewing.

Nancy, we don't have INet on our phones either. Norma, I'm glad things went well with your eye.

Indiana, so many older folks get crotchitey. I'm trying hard not to get that way.

Back from Dr. and shopping with dd14. She fairly quickly found shoes that will work for both sit'ns. Dr.'s office visit was lots of discussion of bc pills, which she'll be taking for acne + isotretinoin; it is the law - if a female takes isotretinoin, she must also be on b.c. pills regardless of other sit'ns in her life. The shocker of the appt. was that she discovered slight scoliosis in dd14. I could see it too once she pointed it out. She is not greatly concerned since dd14 seems to be done growing, but it will be monitored until all are assured it is not increasing. So, to that end, the pedi has requisitioned X Rays, which we can do after we return from Hawaii. She assured us the scoliosis was very mild and would not interfere with dd14's playing field hockey or anything else. Still. .. . I can't help but feel a little concerned until it is indeed proven to be stable. She thinks dd14 has reached her adult height now at 5' 1.5" since this is the same height she was a year ago. Dd16 thinks she is still shorter by 1/4 inch, though if they stand next to each other, dd14 looks shorter by a hair to my eyes. They have a friendly competition to see who is shorter.

x take dd14 shopping for shoes - sandals for graduation and good sports shoes for field hockey (playing on turf)
x check with friend R about going to ds' graduation w/ us and possibly out to a nice restaurant afterward (S is out of town) -- dh did this
- leave at 5:15 for ds' graduation
- watch the graduation ceremonies!
- out to eat? This depends on dd16 who has a big science test tomorrow. Her grade is on the line in this class, so she may want to spend time later tonight studying; not sure how this will work out with graduation + restaurant -- we'll find out soon!

Well, ds told me before I left that they told him parents have to go at 4:30 for photos. Um, I don't think I'm going to do that. Dh and I have already coordinated schedules. I'll just take photos afterward. Ds left early for band rehearsal, so I didn't get to see him all robed up!

I have time to check on bills before we need to go.

RE: losing phones. My suggestion is to list "Mom" in your contacts. When DSon left his phone in a taxi cab they called "Mom" (me). We have also used "Mom" to find the owners two separate times when we found phones at MPB. If you Mom isn't alive - list it anyway but put a phone number of someone that would be willing to receive a strange phone call for you in case of phone being lost.

Oatmeal raisin cookies are made and now baking. Smells wonderful!

Thanks, Indiana. We got the balloons and dh had enough helium to fill 5 1/2. One popped as he brought them down to the house. As I tied them out one went pssssssssssss, so we had 3 left. So I figured 1 for each year since dd passed away or 1 for each of our 3 kids. We let them go about 5pm. Good thing it was then because we just had a sudden big storm! See there was lots of hail at the LPGA on the other side of the city.

DS-R texted me the following: ""It's fitting that some would go before you were ready. In a way it's symbolic of life." He's always so thoughtful.

Did a load of laundry earlier -went up in the golf cart and came back for the car. It was threatening rainy weather then. We got some but not like we just had.

We are parked for the night. Had a great lunch in Dodge City - will post about that in members only with pictures.

Right now we want to relax we had a strong side wind all day today and we are really tired.
