Came here first today. I've spiffed the kitchen counters this morning.

Yesterday I was in the p/c zone doing research finally got some where on the progress of the family tree. Then it was off to church they got the screen going w/ words on it for the song part of the service it was good to have that go smoothly. Some one donated a color copier so they do not have to go to the library any more to get those printed. After wards stopped by a yd. sale down the street after caught up on the news of the drama there. H. got in to the action and got some of the info. needed for his family history.

We are to a place that I think the free records are on microfishe' and not digital yet, going a ways back hubby did not find his baby book it did not have a family tree in it so he will have to contact siblings to see what they have. There is a book some where...

H. grilled chicken breasts, we had 'em on a bun for our dinner yummy! We finally 8-) got some sun and very enjoyable. I pulled a few more weeds in one of the front flower beds. Need to get up on a ladder to clean out the gutters.

Got the laundry and dishes current.
Weekly stuff on deck today and getting ready for trash day plus clean carport when it cleans up a bit.

It was training! REEEEEaaaaally! LO always wants to help so when he asked to help as i was opening a new sack of dog food....... I gave him a 2 cup dipper to transfer 40 lb of dog food from the sack to the container. I didn't think how many "dips" it would take to transfer that amount. He worked without stopping for about 10 minutes and got-er-done! He was sooooo pleased with himself. I could have poured the dog food from sack to container in about 10 seconds.......however he would have missed the feeling of accomplishment . :)

My focus area for this week is the desk. OH HOW IT NEEDS some serious focus!! The area of the desk where papers to be dealt with are kept is no longer a stack and now is a mini mountain. I also want to evaluate every item on the desk and make sure it is used frequently. Binders not used daily will be moved to bookcase. Starting with the end in mind....... I want to make my "mental picture" of how an organized desk should look become reality by the end of the week

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Sunny & DH!! HUm.......Anniversary is listed as being June 15th on SHE dates. they can celebrate it all week. :)

A Sunny Anniversary, and many happy returns!

(If we're early, good for us!)

Glad to see you, Nancy.

Thanks for the updates on family members, Lynlee and Lilac.

Harmony, good job getting needed sleep.

Indiana, good job troubleshooting your oxygen and knowing a glitch when you see it.

OKay your posts about a pity party and worry about a parent certainly hit home for me today. I was awake for 3 hours last evening from 2 to 5 and HRH never left the couch from 2:00 on, to stay watchful, finally shooing me back to bed. Dd13 was awakened, too, but got the most sleep among us so we are really counting on her today. Now HRH's hip is in pain because of crazy sleeping position on the couch, and I've made him nap on our bed.

Good Morning Dear Ladies,

Sunshine here and most likely hot.

Today's focus will be laundry. This is the way we wash our clothes so early Monday morning.

Got to get the dishwasher going too, do my exercise.

Happy Anniversary to the Sunnys!

Ah, Monday attitude. I'm happy to be home again. I'm very glad I went to the anniversary party and spent the weekend with my family; I don't get to see them often and it was good. But I'm also glad to be home. I'm also glad that I didn't bring dd14 as her sleep would have been severely curtailed right before an exhausting trip. We got home last night after midnight; by the time the car was unloaded, etc., I was able to go to bed at 12:50 a.m. Dd14 had to get up around 4:30 a.m. to catch the bus leaving the middle school at 5 a.m. Dh drove her to the school, but I got up to give her a hug since I won't see her again until a week from Tuesday. The 8th graders are off on their annual trip to Washington DC, capstone to a year of US History. They will stop by Gettysburg en route.

PODA:
x Dr. appt.; I have a bacterial infection in the growth plate of my toenail. Need to pick up a scrip soon; he recommended a probiotic to take with it since I tend to get a certain infection  while on antibiotics. Also, I have gained about 8 lbs. this spring. My weight is actually over 150 now. It hasn't been that high in 3 years or so. Ack! That is good incentive to get back into jogging and to get serious about what I'm eating. Dr. is very friendly, a neighbor, actually - which I didn't know when I originally signed up with him. His dog likes to visit with Pepper when they take him? for a walk.
x stopped by post office to get info on how to renew dd16's passport; made an appt. for tomorrow at 3:30 pm.

I checked powerschool; kids are doing great! Dd14's final grades are all in. Dd16 did well on 2 tests last week we weren't sure about. Ds ended up with a solid A in humanities, a class that was probably the most "iffy" for him, though it also was one of the classes he most enjoyed. He learned so much in that class too. I will recommend it for the girls. I also chatted a little with dh.

Later today:
-meet dh on central campus for coffee
-groc. store run?
-finish unpacking from the trip
-do a detail wipe down where some ketchup spilled in my car during the trip. I didn't notice it until this morning. As I was driving to the Dr.'s, I kept thinking, "Boy, my car sure smells like ketchup."
-take dd16 to get passport photos taken
-other items on my li&t

I hope you're all having a good day!

 Ah, I checked my wall calendars going back and for some reason in 2010 I changed it to June 10! I transfer things from one year to the next. Low tech. You'd think I could get this right. Sorry Sunny! Better early than late I guess.

My brain is not in gear today anyway. I thought I discovered a big pile of work that I'd not done starting back in January and got all the papers out to tackle it. Then I thought of the process CPA goes through with this part of our records each year, and this work doesn't need done at all. It all gets included in the figures at the end of the year anyway and doesn't get pulled out....I was just not comprehending it all.

I'm glad I don't have to tackle any of that.

LOL hanging. 2nd load washing. About half the desk chores done. Back to that now.

>>>>sitting in front of a fan with a big glass of ice water<<<<<
Picking beans in bright sunshine/high humidity is as good as sitting in a sauna. My largest organ (skin) got an excellent workout (sweating). :D

Going to search for when to harvest spaghetti squash. There are a couple big ones.....but I don't know how to tell if they are ready
