I've been doing hand wash as the washer is on the fritz and leaks rather badly so saving it for the jeans putting a towel on the floor. H's home and soaking one of his shirts now. Well he's beat and went to bed. I'll unload his lunch box.

I've done my walk it's breezy a great day to hang out wash on the deck.
No B.B.Q.ing here this evening it's just to windy.

Fwew. I'm done for the day. D O N E done. Coolers cleaned, lunch made, dishes done, kitchen floor swept and mopped. I really got nothing else done but business chores, and only some of that. My desk is piling up. I got the line of rust scraped off the washer and some white paint sprayed on. I need to get some more paint. It looks better.

I'm sorry your washer is leaking, Nancy. Is it fixable?

DH isn't home. I think he got back and ran right out to go to youth group which has been changed to Wednesdays. I think it's too much for him in the middle of the week. He needs to save his joints and energy for important stuff, like his job.

Oh, well, I'm going to veg tonight. No energy for anything else.

OKay, when you say, "Deb", who do you mean?

Stay safe, helia! Have a great trip.

Thank you for checking in, Norma. Now go heal up and forget about us for a while!

Sorry about the drama, Sadie. No, electronic messages of any kind just don't convey the right feelings so often.

cathyy, I'm thrilled for you that you have had dramatic health improvement with the Vitamin D. How has it helped you?

Smiling at Kathryn having to explain that, no, she hadn't bought another Bible. My late dh used to buy new Bibles and study Bibles often. Yes, we have the Jerusalem Bible here. Oh, btw I was able to share my viewing of the Museum of the Bible with church friends as we ate Sunday. I was grateful that I had immediately returned and recounted the experience here in the village, because that exercise helped me to remember the things I would like to say about the Museum.

The house is a sea of papers. - Harmony

That describes several areas of my home right now. It's discouraging!

Thank you to everyone for advice and experience about mosquitos. sherinjoy, how wonderful for your dmil - she was lucky, because I have learned it is NOT common knowledge among physicians that garlic will help.

Unknowingly, I may have been my own experiment last night. Dd13 and I both stopped to help Sammie with all the burrs and were standing very close to each other, Yet she was bitten 10 times and I (who take a daily garlic pill ever since the pneumonia) wasn't even bitten once. Except that I talked it out here, I might not have even put that 2 and 2 together.

Big coyote viewed from my kitchen this evening. Spooky and upsetting.

I don't think I mentioned earlier, dh takes garlic for blood pressure, also. The mosquito-repellent is just an added benefit he has seen. He takes one pill a day (I just asked) and he says he has not been bitten since he started it. He adds that the brand name product G arlique is better, in his opinion, anyway.

I took a nap, b/c I couldn't sleep last night, b/c I'm not used to sleeping on a normal schedule lately, and then of course, I had to get up earlier for the allergy doctor. I haven't walked today, but I am going to do the "walk away the pounds" routine when I sign off here. I awoke from my nap w/a terrible headache. I guess being pricked w/probably a multitude of allergens is enough to give one a headache -- it was enough to make my arms ITCH like crazy!!! Soooo glad I can start taking my allergy meds again tonight.
(I still take a 24-hour antihistamine EVERY day. The difference is, with shots, the antihistamine WORKS. Without shots, not so much.)

I rarely ever see a coyote. I keep looking for them, b/c I want to see one, but not at a very close range. They are becoming a REAL problem in some of the more populated areas around here, though, I think... reports about pets being killed, etc. Now that would be scary. I think they come into our pasture at night, but I never see them.
I saw a deer in our pasture one day not too long ago. That was nice. I seem to always miss out on the wildlife sightings around here, so I was excited, LOL!

Ooohhh... btdt w/the towel on the floor in front of the washer, (((Nancy))).

Y'all have a good night! I'm going to go walk away the pounds. I'm really trying to establish this exercise habit before dgbaby arrives.
Tomorrow is another day.
