Back home from church.

We went out to the diner after church and dh checked his smart phone and found a message from my bosom buddy who lives in that town so we dropped by for a long visit afterwards. She was worried about the computer virus so we showed her how to check her computer.

We are home now. First load of laundry is off the line, second is on and third is in washer. That might end up in the dryer unless the clouds break up a bit - they are getting heavy.

Cowinkie, it would seem to me that garlic pills might have a place in helping ((Sadie the Wonder Dog)), since Garlic's been used as a safe anti-fungal med for a couple thousand years and there are doggie garlic pills available that dogs (supposedly) don't mind taking. Proactive use so this won't happen to her again, maybe? Garlic might not be a bad idea for a human diagnosed with this, but I'd like to think you just have a different headache. I'd like to think this is your new retirement type of headache - not as bad.

Yep, you definitely have a different take on gyms than me, lol. Hope you get back to enjoying the interaction.

Well, maybe my computer scan from earlier in the week will take care of whatever bug is out there, waiting to infect us! If so, I will see y'all tomorrow... if not... who knows?

Sooo hoping to hear good news from Indiana soon.
Tomorrow is another day.

I put the towels on the line about 3:30 and only my big, bamboo, towel isn't dry so I left it out but have brought in everything else. By this time of day, my line is in the shade of the oak tree but it is very windy and dry today so things are drying very quickly (the second load only took about 40 minutes to be 90% dry, although it was mainly our travel clothes which dry quickly.)

I lay out and watched the clothes dry. Not really, I just lay out and napped in the shade structure, listening to the clothes flapping on the line. I also watered the tomato plants and did a couple of minutes of weeding.

Harriet--Our wedding is at 3pm east coast time. DS said today that planning a wedding is like walking through a mine field. He never knew there were so many ways to offend so many people! Told him that all that matters is that they are married at the end of it all. Also...I know that episode of Keeping Up Appearances!

Going to try to stay away from computer this week. So if you see me here, tell me to go away!!

Probably have 2/3 of crafting stuff packed up - it's hot working upstairs. I had dh and ds put boxes into my Honda Pilot to take them over tomorrow; I hope I can get them upstairs! I had taken a break when dneighbor and son invited us to go for Mexican food with them, so dh and I took off. I'm considering myself off duty now.

DD is getting married one hour after ellyphant's DS...at 2pm MDT. Oddly enough, July 14 is also the day her father and I got married oh so many years ago. She didn't realize that when she picked the date...was more trying to work with the visitation schedule so that DGS would be home that weekend.

I got all the baby stuff dropped off, then spent a lovely afternoon at Mum's weeding and doing assorted bits of yard work. She made a splodge cake, and we had some of that before getting her bed changed. Then it was time to head home...except I stopped at DD's on the way (she was sleeping earlier today) to drop off a couple of things.

Now I need to have a long, cool shower and then toss in a load of laundry. While that's going, I think I'll do some sewing, and get an early night

Ds called and will come over tomorrow morning and watch a movie with his dad before going into work. He only had 3 shifts this week when he got home but ended up with 6 in total so that is good. He only had 3 shifts for the whole month of June so money is tight right now.

Ds is returning the kitchen things I sent home with him (to make room for dd in the car.) I'm missing my garlic press and large chopping knife. Dh is missing his apron. So we'll be glad to get that suitcase back home!

The garbage and recycle is out and the kitchen is tidied up. I'm using the dishwasher for the next day so didn't have to wash dishes.

Now I'm off to bed and hoping to reboot WW tomorrow morning by getting up early and exercising.

Hello, villagers ~

DH and I had a pleasant, relaxing day. We thought about going to see a movie -- Prometheus -- but it was only available at 9:30 tonight. We think that means it's on its way to the cheap theater next weekend, so we decided to wait. I also want to see Brave, but I don't know if he wants to see that one.

First thing tomorrow morning after s2s, I need to drive my car to the dealership for repairs. I'm working on packing a tote bag with stuff to do for an hour or so. I want to hang around the service dept. long enough for them to do the inspection and tell me face to face what's needed and how much it will cost. Then they have a shuttle that will give me a ride to the mall if it's only going to be a few hours, or they will bring me home if they need the car all day.

I'm just hoping they'll have the necessary parts and won't have to keep the car more than a day.

I don't want to stay up too late, so must keep moving.
