Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
Yay! OKay checked in. I thought LO was 4 too. Perhaps her district is like ours and little ones can go off to school the September in the year they turn 4.
I just had an ADD 90 minutes. Cleaned the bathrooms, put out fresh towels, emptied the recycle bins and crushed the cans, put all the newspapers and flyers where they belong, washed up the day's dishes, took off my nail polish and took the flower arrangement in the dining room outside and washed and recut the stems and tossed the dead flowers from it. I realize that I'm allergic to daisies so need to move it onto the front porch since my chest tightens each time I lean in towards the vase.
While outside, I got the garden plants watered. And my plastic watering can died. Fortunately, it split while over the last two plants I intended to water so the hauling of the water was not for naught.
Dh just got the hymn lists for the 7 (?! we thought it was six!) services he's doing during General Council. He doesn't know them all so there's more music to learn.

Good afternoon to all!
Dove--Loved that clip. What talented babies--hahaha!! Always liked that song, too.
Laundry and dishes caught up here. Bread baked. Deck scrubbed with OxyClean. That was a good arm workout, BTW.
Paid bills and shredded a lot of papers yesterday...I am on a roll! This needs to continue!

Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
Hello, villagers ~
It's nice to see Sadie check in with a good travel report, and glad the fire stayed away from Okay's family.
Windfall for me today was going to help set up the library book sale for Saturday, and having lots of other volunteers show up to help. It was still 4 1/2 hours of standing/walking on concrete basement floor so my feet hurt now, but with so many extra hands we were able to get most everything ready instead of dragging the work out over 3 days. *\o/*
Did not get my tuna salad from Subway for lunch. I remembered that I had leftover veggie sushi from Target. It was an impulse buy yesterday, I had not had sushi in a long time. Long enough that I had forgotten how hot wasabi is, and took too big a portion with my first bite.
Glad I was home alone!
After that, I wasn't really hungry for much more so there was plenty for today's lunch. Remembering to be extra careful with the wasabi!
Having to be somewhere else first thing in the morning always throws me. I hadn't expected to be out for so many hours. Must sort laundry and get something started in the washer. Must start getting trash ready to be taken to the curb tonight.

Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
LO is 3 years old.....until this weekend when he will become the GRAND old age of 4.
I would be rich if I had a nickel for every time he has told someone.... When I turn 4 years old (holding 4 fingers up)....then I will do xxxx
In his mind EVERYTHING is possible once he becomes 4 years old.
Awwwhhhh....the power of innocence .....nothing is considered impossible.

Back from the berry patch. Got a gal. and they are bagged chilling ready for the freezer. That was fun! Voted = took the mail in ballot in to the court house for both of us.
I fot some great finds at the thrift shop a beaded hand crafted belt to go with my costume, two bread pans for quick breads I want to put in the deep freezer, and a couple of plates brightly colored ones to use for serving stuff on or have a big salad. Like I did for lunch. Plus I found one devo. book and another for kids ministry leaders hoping to read it and pass it on to the church.
Got a half off lily I've been wanting so will be planting that after it cools off figured out where I wanted that.
B.S. is running low today had to eat and then take meds. minus some carbs. to help for that sigh hormones keep me on my toes with this.
Started a new journal today for Aug. seems to take a mo. to use one up I write big!!! LOL!
Saw a gal I went to 12 yrs. to school with at the store and we had a good visit. She works with dil.

Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
Dh and I drove to pick up the mail, drop off the travel hairdryer (loaning it out), and then the Anglican church supper. Their clock was 8 minutes slow so they couldn't understand why so many people came early! It was crowded from the start and I barely got the lemon pie, but I managed to snag the last piece. Plus 2 pieces of corn (it was a corn roast) and a hot dog. I'm stuffed. The corn was the best we've had this year and rumour has it that it will be the only corn. They normally have their corn roast mid-month but this year when phoned to arrange it, the farmer said this week or never. So they pulled together the supper in a 4 days. That explains no advertising for it (we got a phone chain call from someone at our church.)
We leave in 20 minutes for practice. I need to brush my teeth and maybe have a glass of soda water or gingerale to settle my tummy.

Spent the day in new York city. Walked the streets went to st paddies cathedral, walked around Rockefeller center and went to a show at radio city music hall. Am now riding the train with my mom to her home. Much much better than sitting in boring school meetings
will be home in a few days cya'll then.

Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
Back from choir. I must be doing something right, my trunk aches so I'm using muscles I don't usually use for the breathing. Things are sounding better but she still isn't letting us sing through a whole song - we kept getting stopped. And then I can't find my note to start up again. I'll go tomorrow but not sing, just listen. One of the things I found out today is that we aren't to be at the university for our practice until 5 p.m. the first day. I was asked to stay on at the airport after noon and said I couldn't, but now I can. And it means our musician doesn't have to hurry back from her vacation quite as quickly.

Re: WINDFALL WEDNESDAY
If LO is going to be 4 is he going to a pre-kindergarten, Okay? Know they have that here for those who won't be 5 but past that age when kindergarten starts.
Had a 'windfall' today of some news that I hope will solve a little on-going problem for ds-R. Praying here.
Went up late, late and finally did 1 load of colored clothes. It was 9:30 by the time I came back to the RV. Latest I've done LOL here in 10 years.
