FORE! It's Friday!

Baby has gone home. He was so sweet tonight... had a little fussy time, but settled down when grandma rocked him and rubbed his tummy...

Now grandma is sneezy and needs eyedrops, though... too much dog dander w/dgson??? Hmmm... don't know. I've been doing better lately -- no problems when around him or even when I was in their house.

Tired. And suspect that dbil/dsisil may have their feelings hurt that we are not going to dnephew's graduation tomorrow.
Main reason we're not going is b/c we have just been on the road sooo much the last 7 days, we just can't take another 8 hours tomorrow. Plus, as dh said, "Do they think they came to dson's graduation???" They did not -- but maybe they've forgotten that? * sigh * DH said, "Well, if they think they were at his graduation, then maybe 6 years from now they'll think we were at this one."

I'm still up. Way too late and I'm sooo tired.

All those fires around better keep away from all my SHE friends. As if I could do anything about them...

Indiana, how did your lunch with family go?

I had to duck up to the store to recharge the card DH uses for truck gas. And get groceries for cookie baking. I got the phone call that Gal friend needed help with this funeral just after I'd been shopping and was on my way home...so another trip today. Tonight I made 2 kinds of cookies, big batches. Enough to take tomorrow and our cookie canister is filled up again.

My hand is really bad. I bought another couple salves at the store to try. I really need to go to the dermatologist. My sunburn has blistered a couple places and it is peeling. Of course I can't reach those spots and it's itchy. I have dreams of laying in a vat of hand cream up to my neck.

Should be in bed here, but slept over 9 hours last night, so not sleepy yet. Was just laughing at Mr. Lucylee's statements about what the relatives remember. That makes perfect sense to me!

Sure like those prices at Booksaver's library sale!

Facebook is taking up a lot of my time lately. Love it for seeing everyone's pictures and keeping up with family. Found several old friends and was able to see that they are well, but not ready to connect with them. Seems like too much effort after so many years have gone by...Also not sure I want to connect on there with members of our new church just yet. Think I'll keep my group of facebook friends down to just the closest family and more intimate friends. BTW, love the car commercial where the teenage girl is lamenting that her parents only have 19 friends...then she says "I have 687 friends--this is living!"

OK, time to sleep!
