Ah, well, glad I could entertain. :D

Um, I'm getting some things done from my li&t and other things too. . . .
x a.m. routine - so I did do teeth care and started laundry
x jog with dh
x devo. time
x dd16 to and from mentor meeting; dh picked her up
x dd14 to lab for test
x 2 dpcs: vet - the secretary swears by Frontline. dermo - I let them know dd14 had the test and asked them to let me know when she is registered.

Next:
-keep laundry going
-change sheets on MBR bed
-finish filing
-get dd14's room guest-ready; I'm going to put the 2 boys in her room.

We are parked under our favorite oak tree!!! It looks like I will be doing a lot of sewing and/or painting as they are redoing some of the decor in several of the cabins. So making curtains, bedspreads etc. is in my future. They also have some decorations for the Olde English Faire to be sewn. So I will be busy. I just flat out told them that I won't work the desk on weekends. They said no problem!! :D :D :D

We leave Friday afternoon to go to our son's house for the weekend and then they are coming up here to camp here the next weekend.

MT, you brought back memories for me of cutting out what seemed like hundreds of banners and tunics for the classes at my kids elementary school for the year the school did a renaissance festival.

I ran my errands very efficiently and got home and haven't done anything since! I'm not used to things being so close, and I'm trying to remember that I don't have to keep a stocked pantry all the time.

Thunderstorms here again; Macs' Thundershirt hasn't arrived. I'm experimenting with giving him a benydryl to see if it will sedate him a little without knocking him out. I'm still getting a giggle over the image of dh wearing the thundershirt....he'll be in a mood tonight because he has to move stuff around in the garage for the installation of shelves tomorrow.

-finish watering plants
-repot spath on front porch
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper hanging out on the breakfast bar
-start a lol, fold lol that is dry
-bring in and unpack Tar-jay boxes on front porch - these are the baskets for the nook

No whirlwind here it passed over head and I missed it!
Got s2sed and did journaling as well this morning.

I am back in from doing a few things outside. I've decided to change the way I do the apples after I pick them up hoping to make it a bit easier for trash day. We will see how this works.

I made the bed, finished a puppet, spiffed up the kitchen and looked over the adds, house looks better now.

I did some walking in place and 2 mi. on the ex. bike.

Done:
x finished filing - took maybe 4 minutes.
x stripped MBR and got sheets washed
x another call to vet and then stopped by to pick up capstar? tabs for both Lily and Pepper to kill adult fleas now; I think part of the problem is that Lily has just started her Frontline. i was told it takes around 3 months to fully kick in/kill all fleas.
x have leftover casserole in oven and have rice going for peanut chicken leftovers. We're having leftovers tonight - can you tell? :D

next:
-finish heating up leftovers
- throw together a salad
- maybe switch laundry before we eat
- eat dinner

Feel free to ignore this entire post, I just reread, it's bad..I have such a bad attitude...

Helia, if it wasn't for leftovers and frozen pizza, we wouldn't be eating at all. Absolutely everything I do with my hand makes it hurt, so I'm not cooking, I'm not doing dishes, .... if only I could get DH to do those things I'm not doing...

He did put some dishes in the dishwasher the other day.

Yeah, poor hand. I have always been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis / aka eczema. It has always flared when I'm stressed or use my hands too much (cleaning lots) or got into something I'm really sensitive to (bleach). I'm stressed more than I can remember in a long time. I'm mad at everybody. Especially DH. Salespeople in stores who don't help, the phone company who never fixed my phone today. I have road rage at the stupid people around here, though I'm being careful not to drive unsafely...I did lay on the horn one time. Durn photo saleslady at WM was less than helpful. One set of machines did not read our memory stick correctly, not showing the 7 pictures I needed to print off for DH. 1-hour machine did show them...and I refused to wait an hour...

I spent all day at my desk. ALL. DAY. One check is still missing. Lots of piles of misc. have been cleared up. Files and more files have been researched...updated...checks written... I did get returns to HD on way back from helping to move trucks. The one without a receipt (DH does NOT give me all the required paperwork) caused a problem, regardless of what he said to the contrary, and I ended up with words with the clerk... Yeah, give me the paperwork like you should and this wouldn't happen..

Man! I got so annoyed at life in general, I got dizzy today. Really. Ak! This sure isn't helping anybody.

Discovered last night at meeting the reports I'm not getting from people are going to make a mess for me at the end of the year. I mentioned it to our leader, and the gal who is supposed to give me the information monthly. Is it up to me to recreate a half a year? I guess. Why do people not do their own jobs???

Going off to bed. Maybe that'll help. Heat is in 90's but heat index (factoring in the humidity is something like 115 today). It was too much for even me today.

Slinking off to a quiet place.

((Harmony)) You have your hands full. And as far as people who don't do their job, I have your back. I am so tired of it myself! I'm glad you're taking some quiet, cool time for yourself now.

I finished that round, but now need to sweep porches because of potting soil. (Dh put the open bag on the back porch, the plant to repot is on the front porch.)

So....
-sweep both porches
-take empty boxes (including one more from garage) to construction dumpster
-purge refrigerator
-take out kitchen trash
-clean my rings

I have been in a snit lately - just overpeopled I think - about dkids and dh bickering. Last night just went on to bed instead of listening to it. I've been trying not to complain, but the pain in my tooth is back again and isn't getting better. This isn't a cavity or decay, but an extremely sensitive spot that dentist hasn't been able to do anything about.

Helia, I would post pictures except that there's "stuff" on every horizontal space! I'll be glad when I get a little more storage built in. Will try to take some photos to share, tho.

Stomping my foot! :| I am in a snit, too, and I have Harmony's back, too, Twins' Mom! Hruuummmppff. The very idea! Back off, non-doing-your-jobs people! Wish I was there. The indignation level would double! :| Triple, even!

Eeeewwww! Overpeopleing! (dance, dance, hop up on table, look around the floor)

Practical thoughts - paper plates, disposable cups, disposable cutlery. Look up the equivalent of the multi-restaurant delivery company we have here and see what they offer. I saw the other day here that it's $5 charge, period, and there's a bunch of restaurants they will go to for you, in all price ranges. People in Fuji treat eczema with coconut oil and supposedly it helps? (The organic kind of course.)

Harriet! I love you! So cheerful, a suggestion and righteous indignation all around!

Dh called - he has a "dinner appt" tonight meaning dinner with a client and wanted ds to move the boxes in the garage so that workperson tomorrow can install shelves along the perimeter of the garage. Ds and I had words, but he finally moved some stuff to my car out of the garage and I helped with box moving. We're about half done, and had questions for dh but he's not answering his phone. I am sweating like crazy; this is after sweeping off both porches. The back porch is directly in afternoon sun and it is h-o-t out there.

I'm sympathetic to dh because he's had such a time with the bad tooth; has basically been out of commission since last Friday morning but I feel like stomping my foot over what's not getting done here. And now the yard needs mowing again, too.

I think the "overpeopling" is because both kids are home, and dh has been home so much since last Friday. When I came in last night from temple meeting, we had the out of town company, then went out to eat with them. By the time I got home I was needing quiet and kids and dh were bickering. Dd has gone to hang out with friends tonight - she may spend the night there - so this will be quieter, unless dh comes home in a mood.

I didn't get my rings clean, will do that, and move some more Goodwill stuff into my car myself. Will walk the ddogs later when it's cooler.

Bad time with headache pain in the afternoon. Dh finally gave me another tylenol.

He's gone to choir. I'm home alone.

I'm up since the pain in my head has subsided but the pain in my tummy remains. I'm so scared to eat anything but know I need to or I won't get better. I just had a piece of toast and peanut butter and am sipping on real tea. Am wondering how much of the headache is from caffeine/aspartame withdrawal.
