Good Morning Ladies,

Had rain last night but didn't amount to much.

Have to work 7 hours today. Not 8 but 7, WM had to cut hours because of overtime from inventory. Of course the people that got overtime, didn't get their hours cut and the the people that didn't get any overtime got their hours cut. But that's life. ;)

(((Harriet)))

Got to post and dash.

Have a wonderful day all!

Next round of blood work is in, more improvements except for my lymphocytes.

Called the specialist's office and left message saying I hadn't heard from them. Phoned my GP and left message with them saying the specialist hadn't been in touch with me yet and I was confirming the referral request had been sent. (I know in the past they have failed to send on such referrals for others.)

I've been up all morning but not due to choice, got trapped at my desk with a long call from my sister.

Did get all dd's vaccination records sent to her (she needs that for her registration at college.) Noted that ds's records are missing and trying to recall if I gave them all to him when he went to work at the hospital and they wanted to bring his vaccinations up to date.

Will have a quick lunch and then head off to bed. Never did get dressed today.

Morning y'all
We had female rain last night and expect more during the day.

I am sitting with my foot up. Doesn't look bad as in shades of purple and greens, but it is swollen and still a bit numb. Just finished reading a hysterical email that Sweetie sent Mr. Guy yesterday concerning my procedure. If I knew how to post it I would. Maybe Norma knows how but think she is busy with her dgd today..that must be one happy grandmom.

Okay I do the same thing you do by taking everything out of a room. I want to start working on the walls of my livingroom and mbr. Plan to spend some time on the computer today looking for ideas.

Need to get more ice for my foot. I think one of the reasons it's doing so well is because my foot is numb and can't feel the cold. That means I can tolerate it much longer.

Enjoy your day. Cya'll later....

(((Kathryn)))) glad to see your test results are mostly headed toward improvement.

((((Cowinkle)))) ouch! Sounds like you have some good ways to spend your time while giving your foot time to heal.

Thanks for the hair suggestions! I've ordered a small Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Serum and will be giving it a try.

Round 3 in the bathroom is finished. Razor blade, Mr clean sponges, brushes and Microfiber towels were my tools that round. My hand/wrist/arm is feeling the effects of heavy duty scrubbing. My goal was to scrub/rinse until I hear it squeak. Then I move onto another area, rinse & repeat. Some places i've taken the paint off the wall. OOOPS! End result.....ceiling, walls, door and floor are definitely clean. :D

I'm cleaning today too - but not like OKay is. Mine is more shoveling out the mouse (I hope - but are pretty big) nests and leavings, sweep out years of caked on dust and repeat until I find the cement floor or the steel shelves. We are cleaning out the maintenance shop at the church camp. For years one of the men was a hoarder and wouldn't let anyone throw anything away. He retired last summer and things are s-l-o-w-l-y getting organized.

Yesterday I went thru the small paint cabinet. Any spray that wouldn't spray or any can that wouldn't slosh went in the dumpster. Then I washed out the cabinet and put them back by type. Spray paint (for rust and for plastic), small cans of paint for signs, larger cans of paint for bigger signs, gallons of pool paint, stain, varnish, poly, and also patching materials. Put all the paintbrushes and tools on one shelf. It looks pretty good now if I do say so myself.

DH is sorting tools on the workbenches. Putting sets of drivers and wrenches together, throwing broken ones, and power blowing years of dust and sawdust. We look like we've been playing in the dirt when we get done - but it is worth it.

I have to tell Helia that every child is different when it comes to driving. Some get in the car after receiving their license and happily drive themselves anywhere they need to go. DD is game to go new places with directions and generally get herself anywhere she needs to go - and has from day one. DS, otoh, only drives as much as he has to - he's certainly at one the far end of the spectrum there!

I found some of ds' requested stuff in the garage. He says most of his stuff is in his room, anyway. I'm ruing the day that dh got a wild hair and got rid of all our emptied broken down boxes because ds needs at least one now....

Good afternoon!

2 lols washed, folded, put away/hung up--or is that LOLs?

Clean sheets on bed.

Shower scrubbed. Rest of bathroom ignored--I should take a lesson from Okay!

New coffeemaker cleaned up and old one in trash. Kept the coffeepot or maybe it's a "carafe".

So far so good...

BTW, forecast looks great for the weekend. Wish we were staying here!

Dozed for a bit after trying to find a Vit D3 book on K indle. DH and I went to an auto store about 10 miles away -went yesterday but part he needed was coming in today. They called him that it was in. Thought it was taking an awfully long time for him to come out. Seems the clerk asked him if he'd worked at the Big Yellow Box in Federal/Gov't Systems. Only then did dh really look at him and his name tag. It was a guy he worked with who was laid off after 28 years. But he does have a pension from Nat'l Guard and he said this auto store also has a decent plan. Of course they talked and hashed over old times. In fact the dad of this particular fellow was one dh traveled with quite a lot.

I've been doing dishes and have the cook pot that I used for chili last night soaking for 10 minutes. I could probably easily clean it, but I'll let the soapy water work first.

Dh got a text from DS-R outside of Pittsburgh giving him dgs7's time results from practice this morning. DH was reminding him to be patient and 'work' with him. Did ask if DDIL managed to go with them -she did so that was good! They weren't sure she'd be able to get today off. Her Dad and stepmom live close by there so they'll all get to see them this weekend.

Can't believe how much I've been able to clean out and reorganize today! It must be a 'bug' on the board today! One that I'm glad to 'catch' any time.

Oh, Kathryn, do get better and better. Was telling dh about both you and Indiana, and Cowinkie too at lunch. He's always asking about different ones here.

Speaking of dh, he wanted to send Happy Birthday wishes to Harriet's dd14 and I forgot until now.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
