Bernice looks like you have a great plan!

H. has left for work.
I had a headache Sun. my neck was out, did not get enough water a couple of the culprits. So grateful not to have one today yea!

I'm up today at 5:30 w/ hubby.
Then we were tripping over each other in the kitchen area so I decided to
get on the p/c and will do kit. stuff later.

Coffee & bed are made.
Journaling is done!

Dgd & I made muffins yesterday at her request they are great for breakfast today. I put some plums in these they wen't in the blender first with milk & egg then in the mix w/ vanilla and cinnamon just a bit of that. Very yummy! These are a hit with every one.

Can't believe it took all day to do laundry it had gotten ahead of me some how! Sheets were done just in time to go to bed last night. Inside yesterday doing that and no yd. work.

I have quick bread in the oven some plums needed to be used so I
whizzed them in the blender with some pumpkin so this should be interesting. Yellow cake mix was the base will do another when dgd arrives w/ a ch. one as well. One can go in the freezer.

Up and dressed, have had breakfast. Had real tea and 2 pieces of chocolate instead of one in the hopes that will help. No results yet but with the heat bag that dd made me for Christmas (it is a flatter design drape over my shoulders around my neck and I can move without risking it falling off) the pain is minimal. I find I eat more when in pain so am trying to distract myself.

The dishwasher and drainer are emptied, the bed is made and the bedroom is tidied.

Today is Wednesday, clean bathrooms day and since only one needs cleaning, that is a quick job.

Morning y'all...

For my first day of school, I spent yesterday vegged out and read. Ahhhhh, the joys of being retired....I felt a little guilty at first, like a kid doing something naughty, but Sweetie loves to find me reading and encourages me to enjoy. I am reading several authors that I love. Their books are complicated, filled with historical facts that are woven into the stories and require me to think and concentrate on what I have read. It is such a pleasure for me to emerge myself into a book and let the rest of the world go by. Sweetie keeps telling me that I laugh easier and look much less stress since I've retired. Plus I think he like his dinners better.

Today I have some errands to run. Need to mail some packages, stop at the grocery store and w greens. The garage has been framed and today they will put up the trusses. Right now it is quiet, but I expect that won't last long.

Have laundry to fold, but footprints have been picked up and I am on my last cup off coffee. Then it's s2s and I'm off...

I'm finally back here -not that I've done anything productive. I'm in that 'denial' stage of having company coming (Friday). But OTOH I don't want to leave everything to do tomorrow. I do have to do a LOL in a bit first off. Then dishes are beckoning.

Got the vacuum out today to dump that. DH took the filter and blew it out with the air hose. Looks brand new! Will run that through -probably all of 5 minutes or so. Then I just want to run the mop through. Nothing is all that time consuming -just a matter of "DOING". Maybe I'd better look at my signature line. Especially when I wanted to start the day with "recess" and I DID! :o To the point I dozed off until dh came in at 9:10!

What are you stitiching, MT?

Made out papers for our new 'park' application last night and wrote the checks for deposit ($450!) and one for a 'membership raffle'. That's worth nearly $2,000 for some 'lucky' person.

We got nearly 2" of rain late yesterday. DH and I went out to supper and it started pouring again on our way. Only got a little wet though.

Dfriend from Indiana called late yesterday and they're coming to visit September 30th. Going to meet us at church and then coming back here and going to lunch. I am so excited. (He used to pastor our church and we all hbecame lasting very good friends. WE went to stay with them in IN almost 2 years ago. That's when we met up with our dIndiana. So glad I had that chance!

Meant to tell Harmony -I've been so concerned about you and the fact that the Dr. you saw never listened to your heart or took bp. So glad you'll be seeing someone sooner. The TV news was talking about 'silent heart attacks' the other day (not to worry you) and I immediately thought of you. Praying you'll soon find out the culprit and get feeling better. Of course it's pretty obvious that you were more than burning the candle at both ends and then some for quite some time. Thinking of you and dh.

That's a full day, Bernice.

Sorry about the headache, nancy. And Kathryn and lucylee. . . Any others? ((HUGS))

OH my, I couldn't get up THAT early, Harriet. Will you take a nap later today?

WTG to MT and elly's DDs for working on Master's degrees! With kids, no less. .. . *phew* Mine was enough work w/out kids in the picture.

Is the stitchery a Cmas gift, MT?

Happy to hear the positive report on retirement, Cowinkie.

Thinking of Harmony.

Is this company staying with you, Dee? --Or does that question re-open some previous conversations??

Done:
x made muffins
x girls out the door on their bikes to school
x a.m. routine
x emails re: moms group stuff. Child care for Friday has been solved!!
x devo. time

Is that it??

Dh is getting ready to leave now. He has been working at home a lot. I prefer him working out of the home. He's not obnoxious or anything, I just enjoy my empty house. He is meeting ds for coffee/lunch today. I think they're going to try to meet up weekly since they can.

--Well, this sat here for a while. I made up a paper plate w/ cookies and muffins for ds. Dh has left.

I've gotten down some boxes from the garage attic. I need to do a cleanse of ds' room. The only problem is, he's not here to tell me what to give away and what to keep. I think I'll put things in boxes, and he can go through them later.

Having some lunch now. Dfriend will be here in 1.5/2 hours for a walk. I need to make some DPCs.

Good morning everyone! Last night was Girls' Night Out. DD10 cannot do much with her broken arm. In fact, she did not go to school yesterday because she had to get a cast. We ate Chinese and watched 6 episodes of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Do not recommend the latter. While she was there, I did a LOL but have not folded and put away yet. Also got a blanket square crocheted. After she left, I updated Quicken and transferred some money.

This morning I took a friend to the airport before payroll. At payroll, I actually have some paying work. Not much, and it is finishing up work on the contract that is ending, but it will allow some positive cash flow, if only for a little while.

I need to find out what is being served at church dinner tonight. No sense going if it is full of cheese and I can't eat it. Tomorrow, I have a phone interview.

DD10 wants to have her cast-off party at my house this time. I have about 6 weeks to get my act together. Her last castoff party was at XDH's house and he didn't invite me, but I will invite him to this. The divorce decree does specify that we get to come to significant events in DD's life. Just because he did not live up to that doesn't mean I should do the same.

Bathrooms are cleaned.

I need to time my up and down times for the day. Will be going for blood work around 3:30 so need to get to bed by 1:30 at the latest.

Headache is currently too mild to be bothersome. Thank goodness!

Good Morning Ladies,

We had dark clouds this morning and just a little rain.

I will not be doing the floors today.

Spent over an hour on the phone over a charge on our landline phone. They put this extra charge on every month, I call, they remove it. this time it took a lot longer, and then the rep said they couldn't remove it so I launched into full scale complaint mode. :o End result, got the bill reduced by 30 dollars per month, not just the 5 dollars I was calling about. :D

But after that roller coaster ride of emotions I can't seem to focus the floors, plus time to do them has slipped away.

Going to eat lunch. Exercise and shower.

Work day for me!
