Good Evening, All! :D

Ta Da~

up at 8 a.m.
Breakfast, meds, supplements, shower, dressed
1 load of laundry done and away
1 load in the dishwasher done, but not away
crocheted 2 hats for Christmas
read a bit on "Good Housekeeping" magazine

Watching football and baseball with DH. He went to the store, I helped put things away.

It's a low-key day, relaxing, and not much going on.

Have a great night! :D

Waving from Monday
Attempting to refer to routine list. I needed to write it with more spaces for things forgotten.
dog out
tmeds
water filtered measured
Readings and response prayer written
Washing is done and on the line
Dishdrainer emptied.
I'm fed.

Not sure I have much energy for shuffle, swooping or a swing today.
High clouds above. Air is dusty from lack of rain to clean it. Maybe today.
Just begin.

I have finished dinner. Talked to ds twice. He's skipping his rock climbing tomorrow night and coming out here for dinner with me. We'll watch one of the videos after. He'll come after 4 so I need to be home by 2 so I can nap.

Tonight I have a short movie to watch while doing some housekeeping. Or I'll need to skip watching 2 movies, not one. There's no way I can watch 5 movies in 5 days, not when I need to nap at least 2 hours each day as well.

I put up a link to a you tube google doodle star trek link - just deleted it as I've been getting malicious warnings since. Suggest trying google doodle archives later

Back from walk with LO. We are documenting the miles we walk between now and Oct 7 (Kid's Marathon). It is nice to have cooler weather (90's) to walk. LO swim teacher has been working on her swim/run/cycle time for several weeks. She entered her first triathlon this weekend and WON (her age bracket)! It's good to have mentors that DO and not just advise. :)

LO is playing in the bathtub (I am watching him). Since his closet has been redone where he can easily reach all his clothes, it has sparked the Mr Independent streak in him to totally be responsible for selecting, dress, undress himself. Now my role is just to supervise instead of hands-on. :D

Smiling at dh's take on "DH," elly!

More than jelly beans, I an particularly fond of. . . . jelly bellies! Oh, my. . .

Is that the google logo that was up Friday and saturday? It was cute.

Wow! That is impressive that LO's swim teacher won a triathlon, OK. Just completing one is impressive in my book!

Dinner is over. We finished off some leftovers, which always makes me happy. :) Dfriend R brought a Boston Cream Pie from Whole Foods. Mmmm... He has gone home now. Dd14 is practicing her oboe. She has a scales test tomorrow in band. 11 scales; the director makes them play in front of the whole band. They should be review for her and her nerves are pretty good. . . I'm hoping. . . Dd16 is working on a self-portrait due later this week for her art class.

I need to send a couple moms group emails.

Will post tomorrow at some point. I'm just too tired tonight. Just got back from DS-A, DDIL, DGS12, DSGD13, and dbaby's. Had a family gathering with dbil/dsil and other DS-R and family, plus DGD17 (Shelley's). Busy day -busy weekend with company. Be glad to get back to normal.

Will cuop when I can tomorrow. Dh has a Dr appointment in the morning and our dneighbor just called us -they drove back to FL about 2 weeks ago. His db passed away suddenly today and they're flying back here on Tuesday. Wanted dh to get their RV ready for them. So now we're busy trying to decide what to do for them before they get here. I'll be back. Niters.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Excellent advice you gave to Ellyphant, Kathryn. Exactly right. LOL at your ds putting his hand over your mouth when you were singing to him while he was nursing. I think it must have interfered with his focus on what he was doing - lol!

I can't report any tasks done today other than that I did go to church. Gave in to a sleep challenge after lunch which took up too much of my afternoon. I did get a birthday card ready to mail to dsis. Tomorrow! Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest anyway, isn't it?

Cowinkie, a life preserver sounds like an excellent plan. I saw that photo on TV of the man who got rescued in your area. I remember having that possibility and the mantra "Turn around don't drown" in Florida. There were places that would fill up enough to cause hydroplaning if you hit them full speed and in some cases you could go under altogether. But in my area I don't recall any instance of a whole lake developing.

Helia my dd/now retired band director required her students to play scales but not necessarily in front of the whole band. Some of her students preferred to do it after school and she allowed that. I don't think there was enough class time for that plus necessary rehearsing. But if your dd/14 isn't too nervous that is a good thing.

Dee, sleep well tonight and get a good rest so you will be able to do what is needed tomorrow.

I am going to go climb in bed with a book. G'nite all.

I'm progressing. Got the kitchen cleared up, garbage gathered and everything is out at the road. Tidied a few things up and the house looks a bit neater.

Still have to finish the movie. Then bedtime.
