I'm up at the crack of dawn just before the neighbors dogs.
Checked on the eggs trying not to stress about it but temps. do flux b/c
outside even in the shop it gets cooler at night. ~sigh~ three weeks is a long time to wait! LOL!

Have to run to take dh to Dr. appointment. DBIL/DSIL are leaving at the same time so then I can get things back to NORMAL?? here.
Will peek in later today. Dneighbor called last night to ask us to open their RV and get the water running (he already winterized) because they'll be back here from FL tomorrow. His DB died suddenly yesterday. So, plan to go do some shopping for them for a few basics today. You know coffee, creamer, milk, bread, butter. Plan to tell her if they need any condiments for anything to just ask. There's no sense in buying whole containers for a week. They also have 2 dds living in the area so I'm sure they won't be here to eat very much anyway. Trying to think of an easy casserole or something to throw in their fridge for a quick meal however. Probably will pick up bread and sandwich meat as well.

Well have a huge Ta Da to post,the twins room is complete and looks darling!!! I was able to put the two old school desks that my Dmom had purchased at a auction, she worked so hard cleaning/painting and stenciling, so happy they are now in the girls room, and not in the toy area.
This week I will (attempt) to "Manage" cleaning/organizing in 8's room, while we are not painting it this year, I need to go thru all her "stuff", along with the cleaning of it, Dh will be installing her closet system after work.

I lost count (4...or 5?) how many times LO woke up during the night. I remember getting up once to rub his leg (cramping), gave him some toddler meds, another time to rub some Vicks on his chest (nose stuffy) and another time to refill the humidifier....then there is the faint memory of getting up 2 times to give him a drink of water. However, he woke up this morning before the alarm went off and was his usual cheery self with no aches/pains/stuffy nose signs. All is well that ends well.
Today kicks off a new weekly focus. This week will be desk/paperwork for me. OH MY! I would much rather be doing a project that requires physical effort instead of the sitting, sorting, organizing, updating, collating papers and accounts. However, one of the strengths of using a rotating focus is because it tackles all areas and not just the ones I like to do.
Weekly focus status = Papers are gathered and stacked in tall unorganized, unsorted piles on the dining room table. The table is covered with stacks of paper. Financial digital SHE cards are prepared and waiting. All the STUFF for this week focused effort is in place and a plan is ready......now it is up to me to get busy and get-r-done!

helia, thanks but this is art collection more than it is art. Don't let Emptynester fool you. She already has done, and could easily do again, some fun flourishes here, she's just got more sense than to spend time on it and I don't. Once a few years back I found some "balloons and confetti" on the net and brought it to Health and Fitness (I think when Trish lost her 100 pounds). Indiana liked it and hoped I'd keep looking around for some, so I got into the habit. Also, other people lost hard-won weight too, so didn't they deserve balloons and confetti? LOL! So I continued.
Little flourishes and interesting punctuation-drawn images are often offered on the net, and I just make sure you're not supposed to give credit (I leave those alone). One may only have a line that I like, and so I double or reverse it to elaborate. Some have to be resized to make sense in our space. It was my intention to make this one a bit more modest in a smaller size, but when I went to the next smaller typesize here, this image skews. So, it is what it is! LOL. The advent of social networking may have boosted the popularity - at least recently I see more "drawings" with suggestions of use for that.
The school run, Morning Daily Card hour, and my ddad's morning routine are accomplished. Outdoor chores are up next.
Must remind HRH of my ddad's barbershop appt later this week.
According to the stickiness I felt under my feet this morning, my kitchen floor needs mopping. (Of course, my entire household denies responsibility.)
Ya'll are SO ahead of me on "what's for supper". Hmmm... ...

So much to do...overwhelmed ......I'm experiencing ME FIRST syndrome! Before I can do this....I need to do that....but that can't be done until these are done.
Taking a deep breathe and starting with organizing the calendars for the next 16 months. I keep a 8x11" paper calendar for each month that is the basis for all the overlays. It stays sync'd (daily card) with online google calendars. I have tried using only a paper calendar and/or only a digital online calendar but find them both lacking in some areas, so my solution was to use what works for me.....both of them! I also keep an paper ledger for each month in agenda format because that ensures my brain understands upcoming events are about to happen and to GET READY for them. Note to self - need more college rule paper. Wide rule doesn't have enough lines to list the entire month (31 days) in agenda format.

OK - ggdaughter did this very same think during late spring and early summer. All of a sudden she was out of it and she had gained height. I think it must be quite painful for them. Hope he is through it soon.
I have nails this morning, hotrod to the doctor and a bit of shopping to do. Come home and iron shorts for Mr. Guy an try to do some more work in the master bathroom. I'm getting there!
