I rec'd an email about the forum being down but was at work and hadn't even tried to access it. Still waiting on info from this "blonde" gal. Don't know that she's blond but she sure acts that way. I think I rec'd four emails saying she was "working on it."

Along the way I was assigned another tax return due next Monday so I stayed busy. Multiple temple emails too, with Rosh Hashana next week.

Dh is bowling tonight so I am going to go read before bed. Tomorrow I have to wait around here for the workmen who will put up the shelves in the nook area and the laundry room and the bathroom mirror finally, then on to work, a temple meeting at 5:30 and a meeting afterward too.

I did several other ta-das along the way today:
-called doc about refill meds
-made appt for bodywork aka massage
-made the appt for the work to be done here at home tomorrow
-several temple issues & set up meeting with rabbi tomorrow
-talked to dd
-did WW food log
-ordered a wood stain marker for our wood floor to touch up little dings

I'm t.i.r.e.d.

Kathryn, I have changed my email address to the same prefix at gmail.com instead of AOL. I think I've updated in the online forum database. The email today came to AOL originally and was forwarded to gmail; I've had some issues with emails getting "lost" between the two accounts.

I stayed on schedule (mostly) during the afternoon/evening time slots. I did combine 2 slots and did an extra hour visit at DParents.

Kathryn - I have the Galaxy Note and love it. I still get frequent comments about how big it is. The most frequent comment/questions is "is it a phone?" :D It fits into my jeans pocket so i don't consider it too big. I love having big screen (aka BIG WORDS) on phone screen that are easy to see. I expect your DSon will love it.....although probably for different reasons than I do. :)

I received a cheery witty email about the board being down. :) By its style, I guessed it was written by Kathryn. Not 100% sure of that though.

Evening y'all...

Just crusin' through before I head for bed. Saw Scattered note about the Cowboys. Jason Garrett is from my home town and is a family friend. I have known him for years. while my nephews were in hs, he ran a summer football camp that they attended. He also would take the time to personally train them. By that I mean, my nephews would call him up to ask him something and Jason would invite them over or come to my brother's house so they could talk and practice drills.

When Garrett worked for the Giants, my two older nephews did what is called volunteer work during home games. The eldest nephew would drive players and such around the stadium in a golf before, during and after the games. The next oldest nephew became Eli's personal driver. He knew when Eli was getting engaged before Eli's future wife did.

I attended TN and was able to watch Archie Manning when he played against us. Later Payton Manning became UT's quarterback. I've always been a huge fan of Eli's and my nephew would always call me after a game to tell my how his day went with Eli. Garrett worked for the Giants for a while. We knew he was going to Dallas ...he still lives in my hometown, but commutes to Dallas. I was really torn the first game that Jason was Dallas's coach and they were playing the Giants. Its fun to watch that particular game when I'm around my brother..My brother is the Athletic Director of our county and he and garrett have been great friends for many years....Everybody yells for both teams at the same time.....Garrett's a really nice guy...but sometimes you can't tell that when he's on the field. I forget sometimes that his first name is Jason because we've always just called or referred to him as Garrett.

Too bad the site was down today. I was out over 4 hours and exhausted when I got back so didn't even know.

Anyway, I got all my errands done, 3 banks, medical records to new drs. office, store to buy greeting card and gift cards, post office with some stuff the needed weighed. Went to the library and while I was there noticed a volunteer table set up for free BP and BS check. I took advantage of that (noticed later the card I was given said this was a county service for those without insurance  ). She did not even ask if I had insurance. My BS (I hadn't eaten yet) was 85 but my BP is up. Just googling about that tells me it's not a good number. :(

Not keeping up. Making out mortgage payment today I discovered I'd forgotten last months' so I paid 2 today. At least I caught it before I had to pay the late fee. I never miss them. Also DH told me he was out of work clothes...and that never happens either... so I quick did a lol and threw it in the dryer, all folded and put away, also another load that was sitting in basket all washed.

I've been trying to get in here for a while..my friend who went up north for the summer called and I had to talk with her for a while. Anyway, the day is done and I'm going to relax a bit.

Maybe I'll be a bit more responsive to everyone tomorrow.

OOH, almost forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATHRYN!

I noticed the site was down this afternoon...got my vacuuming done because of it!

Did not get the e-mail today, but got the one last week about Indiana, so I know you have the correct one for me.

Enjoyed watching The Voice tonight. Was singing around here all day! :)

I got the e-mail -- thanks!
I was at school so never knew the site was down.

I am sooo tired... and I am eating like a crazy person b/c of it. Finished off a pretty large bag of Jordan almonds in no time flat. Aunt Flo is leaving, so I can't blame it on that. It's just the exhaustion. Need to grade some papers before I go to bed... and maybe I'll get more sleep tonight.
* sigh *
I MUST be ready to retire... I certainly can't keep up this school day/football schedule pace much longer.

Oh -- I meant to say also, scattered, I know I should apologize for not offering to read your essay. I am just so overwhelmed with all the school stuff I have to read right now, I just couldn't take on anything more. I knew we had several on board here who would be excellent proofreaders, so I just hung back.
Tomorrow is another day.
