I had a good day at the beach with dd and dgks. They liked their new clothes. Dgd wore the tankini for beach time so thats success Then changed into the new rash top with her own shorts to go home.. dgs happy enough with his new clothes - guessing they will be tried on at home.... DD and I had lots of talk time as we watched the kids - who were good not to go out far when they heard the dumpers warning. They have both done nipper vacation classes with the lifesavers on city beach at southbank. It was great to watch them play. I must not have set up the camera well enough as it thought 10 photos was all it wanted to take, and I couldn't figure out the delete one to take another thing. Weather was great.
dgd had been to swimming training at 6am so a long day for her.

Called in at a few stores on way home. few groceries - and a garden fork, health food store, new kink free hose from a mothers day store card.

walked dog. Dinner is done.
I'm tired after all the sunny day.
good night
Just begin.

Post and run; I am heading to work today. Tonight dh and I are going to a surprise birthday party for our former dneighbor so will be out this evening as well.

I should be rested as I probably slept close to 10 hours last night but I am feeling exhausted. Some of it is mental, as I feel like I wrested with the negative members all afternoon yesterday. Had one who is perpetually negative with me in the break the fast line, and doggone if she wasn't sitting at the same table with dh when I finally caught up with him  so I got another earful! I'm trying to find the humor obviously. Also sat just in front of a couple of others and heard their under the breath comments (also they don't hear well so it tends to be louder than under the breath) during one of the services.

Anyway, today is another busy day although thank goodness it's a different set of people. Tomorrow I'm afraid I'll collapse!

We'll hold you up, Twins!

What are dumpers and/or nipper vacation, LynLee? Have some ideas but thought I'd get right from the source.

Been up for over 1 1/2 hours so need to get dressed and on with it. Starting my "heading south mode" a few days earlier than I'd planned since we won't have company this weekend. Ended up looking for A irborne about 2am. Do feel a little better this morning. So will just take it a little easy for today. Turned the heat on for a little bit as it was 60* in here. Since we have such high ceilings and lots of windows, it's a little harder to heat. I do close the bedroom door and there's probably a good 10* difference between there and out here. So I know it works!

Picked up the calcium the Dr. wants me to take yesterday afternoon. Now I remember why I probably stopped taking it a long time ago -those pills are HUGE! But still easier to get down than my diabetic medicine. Have a feeling she'll change that one when I go back.

Still have a basket of folded laundry (from Tuesday!) waiting to be put away. Think that will be #1 on my l**t today. Need to wash my hair but maybe will wait until tomorrow.

DH is now planning to walk with DDIL#1 on Sunday for "Making Strides" for breast cancer. He really wanted to do that but is also bummed that our company isn't coming.

I am 1/2 dressed -at least I have on my jeans. Now to clothe the rest of me! I've done meds for this morning, but not breakfast yet. The day awaits!
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Good morning everyone. Lynlee, that sounds like a fun trip you had. Cameras. I have challenges with ours too.

Thinking about Kathryn today with dr. appointment.

I don't know what I'll do if dr. doesn't call today. I'm so tired of sticking close to home, I have stuff I should be doing and I can't...if it's this hard to talk with her, I'd hate to be out and miss a call and have to struggle to get her again...

I was up early today, not alert and awake, just up. Anyway, trying to come out of the fog which remains... I did slog through a desk piled up. Most of the time I don't do stuff in the office past the afternoon and it piles up from stuff arriving, the mail, DH coming in, calls during the day, other stuff needing done...so there is always new stuff there. If I kept it all up as each thing happened I wouldn't get anything in the house done at all, I basically wouldn't have a life except for this.

Good morning, villagers ~
Today will be errand day because I want to go pay the property taxes. That office is a 45-50 minute drive from home, and I have other stops to make in that neighborhood. Working on a list so I can plan my route to save gas.

Oh and IHOP is out that way, too! I might as well wait to leave until close to noon so I can have one of their omelets for lunch.

Google doodle today is for their 14th birthday. How quickly we have all gotten used to the idea that we can look up anything on Google or Wikipedia, rather than using what used to be a room full of reference books at the library!

Good morning to scattered, Dee, Twins, Harmony, Bookie, and all who come later! Sweet dreams to Lynlee!

I, too, am wondering about the "dumpers," Dee. I suspect the "nipper vacation classes" are water safety classes for children.

(((Twins))) I don't suppose the fast helped much with mood or exhaustion, either.

Back from library duty -- must remember to tell the girls they were asked after by one of DD's former classmates (not one I would have expected!) and the school secretary.

This morning's political calls have started already. I do NOT enjoy living in a swing state! Do you know, we got a call yesterday (recorded, of course) from a political figure from another state asking for donations to the campaign of another political figure from yet another state? As if candidates we could actually vote for weren't enough! I let the machine get them, but I still have to listen to the phone ringing off the hook. :x

Need to do hockey e-mails even before dailies if I want any hope of parents seeing them before tonight's practice. Will do :45 on those (hopefully, it won't take that long, but realistically, it might), then be back here @BOTH!

Waiting on dh to finish showering. He had to load the bike, etc., so wanted to shower last. I loaded a lot last night and finished this am. It rained last night and is supposed to rain today. In spite of knowing that, dh still spent hours yesterday washing and cleaning out the SUV plus working on the bike. It was clean, but lightly dusty. The farmers of our state should pay us to take trips, because it always rains when we leave home.

When we get back there, we have to go out of our way to unload the bike in the little town my aunts live in and where dm goes to church. We'll leave the trailer and then head north 12 miles to our hometown. Then dm is insistent, that we drive 17 miles west to db and then go 20 miles north with them to eat. That, after we have spent the day dragging a motorcyle on a trailer across the state in the rain. This morning she called and I told her we would be starting later than we normally do and that they might have to go eat without us. Oh no, that is why they are going out to eat, to be with us. Then why can't they come to where we are? She just always has to be running the show. Which wouldn't be so bad if she would ask instead of tell. Oh well, gotta love her. Sunday I will check out of the hotel and then go to the little town, so I can go to church with dm and her sisters. I will spend the day with them. I will leave the SUV at daunts, so that dh can go there and load it and meet dm and I my db for a cookout. I am looking forward to this trip but I really hate not being here when dd2 opens the door to her business.

I am really going to miss this village while I am gone. As many pages that have been used lately, it will take awhile to cuop when I get back.

Better go, he is getting closer to being ready.

Nancy, I'll have to go to the PBS website and see if they have that show for viewing -- sounds interesting.

(((Lilac))) Good luck with your DM -- we'll miss you while you're gone!

Still don't have the e-mail sent. Do finally have all the text written with the exception of directions to Saturday's game. I know how to get there -- it's the rink where DD practices -- but I have to look up the street address, as there are often parents who want that for their GPSes. Wait -- we also had some of our preseason training there! Everybody should know how to get there, and I can leave that off. That's good, because this is a behemoth of an e-mail: personal introduction, request for forms (attached), information about the upcoming game and game procedures in general, schedule of upcoming events, and information about some special events happening this weekend! I might be able to break off the special-event info into another e-mail, but the rest of it should stay together, as it all pertains more or less to this weekend's game. Now I have to go to the site our head of program wants us to use to send team e-mails, paste the text in, and attach the attachments. Bleah. :|

Will be back when that's done.
