I have not cuop yet but I am here because I had to resend the email I sent last evening, lady swears she did not receive...though she didn't know where to go look for her spam...I know it's there, I did not receive an undeliverable message...

sigh....I do not need problems now.
Last night I woke after about an hour sleep with a night terror. I could have sworn there was a man standing in the bedroom, holding a pillow like he was about to suffocate me; he had one of those lights on his forehead. I asked who he was a couple times, what do you want, I screamed help (dh did not hear) then I put the light on. The green forehead light was the light on my smoke alarm above the white door (pillow) but I was so scared I couldn't go back to sleep most of the night and had to sleep with the light on in another room. This is about the 3rd time I've had troubles like this, but this was the scariest.

I think I am slow to focus my eyes once I've been asleep, and my vision isn't as good in the dark any more. Phew. So I am super tired today and I guess I clenched my jaw in my fright and that is sore. I need to go back to bed.

Dr. (after a horribly long wait in the waiting room and her office) says my pulse is low and that's causing the arrhythmia, my B12 is low and my TSH thyroid is low. BS good, BP good, temp a bit low. I said with all that it's no wonder I feel near death. She said my body is screaming for thyroid. Those exact words. Yikes!

So she took blood for the other 2 thyroid tests, gave me a shot of B12 and told me to supplement with sub. B12. She has no problem with the type of thyroid replacement I want, but I have to wait another week till she looks at those tests, also the one she did for antibody to see if something auto-immune is going on with this. So next Wed. I'll have ALL the answers and maybe a prescription. Another week to wait.

DGD age 2 comes the day after next dr. appointment for her 13 day stay here. Whatever medicine I get - I hope it works quickly.

Have to do some more comp. work for customer who does not know how to open an attachment. BBL

Just talked to dh and he wants me to call realtor's handyman guy now because first hasn't called me back. Dh just wears me out with his impatience. Talked about evening program at temple and he will "represent" us and I will skip it tonight. :D

It will be nice to have a relaxing evening at home. I'm nervous as a cat about a temple meeting tomorrow with a very disgruntled member. She's the kind of person who eat people alive.

((Harmony)) I'm glad your doc has some answers for you, hoping that the meds work well and you're back to your old self.

I arrive home from DParents just in time to grab a quick bite to eat before leaving again to get LO from school. DMom had a good visit with cardiologist. She will have 2 test done in the next 2 weeks. After we finished that doc office we went to our family doctor and both got our flu shots.

DH is always doing something extra nice for the widow customers at MPB and has acquired a rather large devoted "fan club". I call them his groupies because they gather around him when/wherever they see him. :D Most of them are on limited income so DH won't let them pay him for the extra things he does for them. So, they have a habit of bringing him home baked goodies and treats to show their appreciation. Hum........I've seen signs that say something like "Don't feed the bears". Would it be bad manners to post a big sign at MPB that says something like "Owner is diabetic and his doctor wants him to lose weight. Please don't bring him sweets or anything that taste good!"  Today he received a large pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting. YUMMY! Also about a 5 lb (really!) homemade cheese ball.

How to explain water spots to a 4 year old? He is so proud of himself for "cleaning" the outside of the windows by spraying them with his water gun.

I just txt DD an invitation to join DGS17 and myself shopping for his homecoming clothes tomorrow. OH MY! This could be interesting if she accepts. DGS17 doesn't want to see DD however he REALLY want dress clothes and shoes and I am the only person who will buy them for him. I probably should feel guilty by using as "bait" to get him to agree to be in the same place she is. I strongly feel he isn't going to be able to work through his extremely negative emotions toward her as long as he is able to refuse to see her.

Harmony, I thought it sounded like thyroid problems. I have been dealing with it for over 35 years. When it is out of whack, you can feel like death warmed over. My thyroid issue was diagnosed as G raves Disease and atypical. The atypical means that I have symptoms of the high and low thyroid spectrum. I took the radioactive iodine. Now they tell you to stay away from babies and small children for 24-48 hours after it is administered. They didn't tell me that back then. I take a daily dose of thyroid replacement, in my case, Levothyroxine. Thyroid disease is an autoimmune condition. The dr. thinks that is why I ended up with diabetes because if you have one autoimmune condition, it is common to have 2. When you start medication, remember to not take your thyroid medication at the same time as a vitamin with iron in it. 9 years ago, I was severely anemic and it was easier to take them together. I kept feeling worse by the day. I would get up and by the time I was cleaned up and ready for the day, that was all she wrote. Day after day. I finally found some info on the internet that said not to combine the 2 meds. Also, I am on antidepressants. My dr. says that thyroid problems can cause medical depression. You will feel much better once you are on a thyroid medication. You will have to have periodic blood tests to see if that is the correct dose or not. Before I was diagnosed with diabetes, I could always tell when it was goofed up. Now I can't. When I had blood work done in April, it was way out of whack.

I finally mowed this afternoon.

The verdict is in and it is a cold. I haven't felt too miserable today, luckily.

Guess I will shower and put on pjs. Supper will be fairly easy tonight.

I'm trying to CUOP but can't so will respond at 2 pages.

scattered mentioned the same thing on page one taht OKay mentioned on page 2 or something.

I saw the overweight meteorologist's original live address, and so did HRH from different net directions. We actually had a bit of a debate over it, re: was it (the email to her) true bullying (which I thought was a clear possibility, given the "role model" guilt-speak) or is this the logical result of the accepted practice for network on-camera personalities to have their appearance considered part of their job. HRH's point is that it is the networks that perpetuate this appearance-perfection mindset, so no one in the business should be surprised if viewers think it's okay to discuss it.

lucylee, sounds like a compromise, I'd go with it.

That's all the time there is. I'll get to page 3 some other day. Sigh.

Harmony, I just googled "night terrors thyroid disorder" and there is are some mentions online of the night terrors going along with thyroid issues.

In clearing papers, I came across an obituary that I tore out of the paper last summer-I think I looked more closely at it because she had my surname and it said she grew up in an area of the city where I know my ddad's family lived. Surprise, tho, she was related to my maternal line, not paternal, as dmom's family lived in same area at times. I'm going to indulge myself by entering this in my genealogy software.

x rice going
x cornbread dishes washed

Not all I had planned to do. I need to make a salad and get dinner on the table; dd16 and dd14 need to leave in about 30 minutes to go to youth group.

Wishbone is on my refrigerator in the form of dd32's old school locker pencil holder. We used to just love Wishbone as a family but I'd almost forgotten those days - must have been, what - 16 or 17 years ago.
told me to supplement with sub. B12

Oh, my stars, this is such important info - they should have told you faster. But getting that shot and then the even more important daily sublingual will make a wonderful change for you in terms of daily energy and good night's sleeps, and I'll bet it will be soon. yay. At a place like The Vitamin Shoppe or their competitors, knowledgeable salespersons can help you get good ones. Just look for ones already in the form methylcobalamin so your body won't have to work hard to convert it to that form.

Ds and family visited, very nice. Had fun. They are jogging as a famiy these days, with the stroller. Ddil says she can't do exercise videos any more right now but the stroller-jogging seems age appropriate and entertaining. I will have to say the videos certainly did get her her figure back.

Finally got the hearing aids back. That's 3 days of driving to a place 30 miles away. They apologized for forgetteing me and going to a meeting. Plus I had to get my ddad's one prescription today. So it just seems nothing else is happening all week. IT's like a lost week.

I think I missed news about Kathryn's dsonil's doctorate but take it it is good news so send congratulations!

Congratulations to Ivy on the recipe.

Harmony, That was a mighty scary dream/nightmare! :o

Harriet, Thanks for the congrats on the recipe. :)

helia, Your dinner sounds good. We're having a turkey roast. :) :)

Twins' Mom, It's good you came across that obituary. Now you have more info. :)

I took a 1-hr. nap, am crocheting a little beanie, which is taking forever, and got quilting stuff together to donate to whoever will want them. DD gave the stuff to me, I bought some stuff, but don't have time with the eye thing to learn an entirely new craft. I crochet, have scrapbooking and rubberstamping supplies, write, read, etc... There is only so much I can do. The neighbor's DD quilts, so that's an idea, our DNeighbor/DFriend also sews, so that's an idea, don't think DD wants it back, but am giving her first choice among her friends/co-workers. If all else fails, will donate to the Senior Center. I'm trying to dejunk and declutter so taking care of the home is easier, not knowing which path the eyes will take. Just trying to crochet up my stash and streamline.

Waving hello to scattered, Mystery, Dee, and Everyone. I'm tired. I'm sorry I can't remember everybody from one page to another, unless I take notes.

Have a good night! :D
