My conga today is more like a slow dance. I am so sleepy. I was a little "wired" last eve. and not the least sleepy, so I could hardly get to sleep. Naturally, DGD gets up before 6:30 today, boy was that hard. Fortunately, she does not get up hungry, just wants her drink and cartoon.

I'm keeping up little things. Diapers, baby baths, meals, some paperwork. Packed some food and helped DH get out the door. He went to the other coast for supplies, gone 6 hours today. Just put DGD down for nap. She didn't want to lay with me in my bed, she wanted to go into HER bed (which tells me she's comfortable in the crib). I guess while she's down I'll tackle a computer project that's past due. BBL if I can.

Good Morning Villagers! :D

That's GR8 to know about how good the Conga is for us, too! ;)

My Poda:
1- To wash the master bathroom rugs, sweep and mop the bathroom tile floor.
2- To read, write, crochet, walk
3- To dust and dust mop
4- To put out fires

My Ta Da:
1- I read my devotion, prayed, and wrote in my journal.
2- I had breakfast, meds, supplements and coffee.

Dee, hope you get well soon! :!: :D

Happy Conga Day to all of us! :D DH is going to help me with my Conga. :)

No Conga here. But I did do the treadmill. Ds showed up in the morning for a visit (unexpected so breakfast was delayed), then my sister called. By the time I was done my cereal it was almost lunch time.

Dh had a teleconference from noon until 1 and then we left for the airport.

My first drive in the car. Very nice, I'm fine with it and am slowly improving the gas mileage (they don't get great mileage on the highway and the first 40 miles were freeway driving.)

I'm going down for my nap now.

Good afternoon everyone! My PODA accomplishments are

Visited DFriend at hospital (she was released shortly thereafter)
Found and printed eTrade statements
Found and printed printer manual (I got a hand me down FREE printer)
Mailed check to deposit and paperwork for lawyer
Found cable store and put my name on a cable when it comes in next week

What I need to do today/tonight

Errand for friend who was in hospital
Put away laundry, run another load
Quicken update
Finish weaving ends in crochet project so I can show it to my friend who gave me the pattern and yarn
Job search stuff

For the weekend, I would like to finish sewing the cat crate covers and see if my red/orange yarn will work for my crochet pattern.
I am hearing thunder (yeah!) and it is too windy for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fest to have anything going on tonight (boo!)

Harmony, I hope you'll get a good sleep tonight. :D

Dove, It's nice to "see" you. :D You sound like you've been very productive! :!:

Harriet, The wheel chair sounds like a good idea.

Nancy, Big WTG on your walking today already. :D Your prayer shawl sounds cute to me, too. ;)

Blessedw2, Good luck getting ready for the rug guys. :D

Elly, I have a "problem" with shopping for free book downloads. I get my shopping "fix" done, but oh-boy-oh-boy, do I ever have a lot of books to read.

Ta Da:
1- DH vacuumed the great/dining room areas.
2- DH put the master bathroom rugs in the washer, I started them washing.
3- I worked on my story.
4- I sorted the mail today.
5- DH swept the master bathroom floor. He'll also mop it.
6- I shaved the legs DOWN this time!!!!

I'll work more on Ta Da's after lunch, but need to get the story done. I'm just taking it 1 step at a time today, because we have all day. I'm glad it's raining, DH will watch baseball, and our Conga Friday is a nice slow-moving relaxing one, as we work at our own pace. :) :) I'm so grateful DH helps.

Have a wonderful Conga Afternoon, Everybody!

Ivy--LOL at shaving legs DOWN! I have many books to read, too. I could probably go all winter without going to the library, but I can't resist. When they get a new one in that looks good, I jump on it! At least your downloads aren't taking up physical space in your home!

Need to start supper. One thing to make and add to leftovers.

Never did do my errands today. Will brave the crowds tomorrow. Just love being home. :D

Good evening to all!

I was done at work around 1 p.m. today - submitted two returns for review and cleared pts on another so was done with 10/15 work until I got back review pts on the two reviewed returns. So I'll head to the office to do that over the weekend or perhaps on Monday morning. Either way, I need to finish up our own return this weekend too.

I took a lovely long nap. It's a cool, damp day. I need to get busy getting things cleaned up - working five days this week has taken a toll on the house - kind of like tax season. And if I had a bunch of energy I would have made challah and Shabbat dinner. I was thinking earlier that would be nice because dd is home, but otoh she spent the night with P&D last night and I haven't heard from her today, although it does appear that she has at least been here today.

Ah, just talked to dd and she says that she and dh are planning for us to go to dinner together tonight.

Temps here are truly 'roller-coaster' for the next few days. 26 tonight - 71 Sunday.

Having a bowl of chili. Dh will be in to eat later.I'm trying hard to eat earlier. Drank 1 cup w/a ir borne. Then had a cup of sugar free cappucino. Yum! Hate for nightfall to come since the soreness/congestion have not gone away today. Always gets worse at night. :?

DS called & has a fire going -will not be going over there tonight. Too cold for me, especially being on the sick side. Hoping to improve a lot tomorrow so I can go to DS-A's and see that dgs Sunday. But won't go if I fear making him sick (or anyone else).
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
