Good morning, villagers ~
Happy Anniversary, Lucylee!

I've been doing a fast conga this morning.

Yesterday was supposed to be Apron Day to get caught up on laundry and dishes. I planned to volunteer at the library first for only a couple of hours, which I thought would be enough to finish pricing the fabric donations.

Lots of interruptions slowed me down. Then when I was almost ready to put everything away again and run out the door ... our generous donor showed up with 2 more big boxes of books and a bag full of more fabric! And he wanted a tour of what we've been doing and description of the whole planned event, which took quite awhile because of course I did not want to rush him.

So I stuck around to process the new stuff. Next thing I knew it was 3:30, I had forgotten to eat lunch, and still needed to clean the room and drive to the bank for change before they closed at 4.

Made a whirlwind rush through the bank and the grocery store. Came home and fixed a little cheese quesadilla, which I seriously needed because it is not a good idea for me to go that many hours without eating anything. Cooked an easy supper of ground turkey with stir fry veggies over rice.

I was able to get some of the dishes done last night as well as 2 loads of laundry, that made me feel better. I watched a recording of Duck Dynasty which just made me laugh and laugh, those guys are great. Sorted through some fabrics to see if there is anything else I can declutter to donate to the sale.

I have 2 small bins of "stuff" to be priced for the sale, and then barring any last-minute donations, that part will be ready to go. There are a few things that look more valuable to me, and I want to search online for prices, which I can do while the others are figuring the logistics of displaying the quilts.

Today we will finally be allowed to set up all the tables and pull everything out of the storage closets. We have enough that I've had to tuck things here and there through different storage areas to hide them from the groups renting the meeting room. It felt like a stash & dash at home!

I told them that I would not be at the library until noon. That's when the rest of the group said they could be there to help.

I think the washer has finished the 2nd load. I'm going to toss that stuff in the dryer and then try to grab a quick nap. BBL.

Trying some of the B-12 sublingual, Harriet. See if I feel a difference. I've had an increase in my energy level in the past short while anyway.

DH had asked me to do something in town for him so I had decided to go get a baby card/gift bag, pick up the mail & do what it was he wanted. Only trouble was I couldn't remember and he said there was nothing. Just dawned on me what it was -no papers were delivered here this morning so I'd told him I'd go out and do that for him & take care of the other errands on the way. Bad when neither of us "can walk in the other room and forgot what we were here after". :? I'll also be able to take some American flags to dispose of them at the local hardware -means I'll be making 4 stops.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR. & MRS. LUCYLEE!!! ♥ ♥

My right hand's hurting at the laptop, due to my mouse and ergonomic wrist pad, I think. So won't be on-line as much today. It's raining here, I'll get done what I can, and think this will be a good time to catch up on reading today.

OKay, I'm sorry to hear that about your brother, too.

Scattered, Your job sounds very challenging, yet interesting and fulfilling, at times, too.

Dee, It sounds like you're still not feeling 100% But it sounds like you're getting closer and closer to departure.

BoodSaver, If I do a conga, it'll be one-handed.

Harmony, I woke extra early, too.

Waving to Lilac, Helia, Nancy, Twins' Mom and all I've forgotten. Have a Fruitful Friday! :D

Errands done; I'm down another 1.3 lbs. :) That was over 2 weeks, but those 2 weeks included travels.

I'm eating lunch.

Next:
-finish a.m. routine
-devo. time
-coffee with dh?

Lily has an appt. with the vet at 3:30. I might try to jog beforehand. . .

Happy Friday!

I'm back from library (picked up one movie and dropped off three), thrift store (found a 2 dollar "play pretty"), grocery store (for specials) and gas station. Had a nice talk with cousin via FB.

Need to go back out with recycling (so nice they are open on weekdays, now).

Strange thing at grocery...a fellow about my age leaned into my personal space and asked me to direct him to the minced garlic in a jar. I claimed not to know where it was and he apologized profusely for asking! I have to wonder if this is all due to my new red hair! Suffice to say, he gave me my chuckle for the day!

hi dee (hope you feel better - the cleaning looks marvelous)
Scattered (()) and thank you For the Work YOU do!!!!
happy anniversary d mr. Lucy and our d lucy
d helia sorry your dd has difficulty with a the teacher that chooses this approach. I wonder how many kids are having trouble and getting lost if the teacher is not consistent with teaching and testing. Very confusing. also I don't like arena conferences either (we had that in the middle school) and high school they didn't do conferences unless it was really bad.
dtwins. have a great meeting with your Rabbi (((for your dh))) it is nice that you have a service to remember those you love
d okay happy birthday to your dbrother. my mom didn't tell me when things happened with my father as she felt I couldn't handle it...she told my dbrother - I really don't understand that philosophy as it does not help anyone.
hi d lilac
hi everyone
hi d kathryn hope you feel rested all day
hope I am not missing anyone so far.

today: had meeting at dd's school and it went very well. really caring people

my day: work in laundry room, make penne later on, dd doesn't have guitar today
it is always a joy to be here with you!

You're doing great, Helia. :)

Yes, I'm doing better, Ivy. You're right -not 100% but probably 80%.

Have 3 dinners out this week before going to the Dr's next Wednesday. Hoping I can keep my will power going on those 3 meals. The one Saturday is buffet -so really need to get myself ready to just 'say no'. I would so like to be solidly in the 160's by then. It keeps flirting with 170

Went to town -bought dh's paper. Was figuring out on the way back how much he's spending on this paper for his 6-7 month stay. Figured it's at least $270. That's almost what my internet is. Just for the heck of it, I'm going to look to see what the online subscription price is. Not sure if he'd go for that yet, but it's an idea. And here he is -for lunch.
