While trying to come up with a title for this mornings thread I googled positive M words and then chose Motivated. Unfortunately for me I have to go to work so this does not mean here at home. Yesterday I was able to get the 3 D's done along with sweeping upstairs... may not sound like much but since I didn't get home from the party until 4am and then didn't get up until 2pm I think that wasn't to bad. Rather tired today since my allergies woke me up at 1:30 and I was up for an hour waiting for the meds to kick in... Alas it is now time to get my shoes on and get out the door.
Have a great day Villagers.

Good Morning!
scattered - Thank you for starting today. This village is a wonderful place to come an receive motivation and encouragement.
Fall break is over and LO is past his contagious period. Life returns to normal today.
Today is PJ day at school. I don't remember having PJ day when my kids were growing up. I'm wonder where/how it got started? ANYway - I'm glad that we have recently bought LO some new PJ's so he can participate in style.

Yes, a big heap of motivation here, please!
I'm heading to work, it's a new week and lots to do! I need to get some priorities down on paper, too.

Happy Monday, scattered!
Plans here are to unload dishes, clean shower and liner, vacuum and blow leaves. Supper will be a pork shoulder steak and bagged salad. Also will call DM. Made my day yesterday to talk to DD and DS. Holiday plans are coming along...
Have the song Monday, Monday in my head! Good day to all!

Happy Monday, all!
I'm motivated b/c my life is back to "normal." No travels, no teaching, no SS skits this week. We're not even hosting small group on Saturday.
My 6x6:
1. a.m. routine
2. groc. store
3. Make and bring vegetarian meal to a dfriend today
4. prep as much as I can for Heb. class
5. go to Heb. class at 5:15
6. set up doodle to schedule next moms group steering committee meeting
That's plenty to keep me busy.
I'm up, have had a mug of tea, have done some coordinating type emails. I'm off to s2s now.
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY OK!!

Re: Motivated Monday
I'm up and at breakfast. Nicer hotel, much nicer breakfast. And thanks to dh's good luck, all free. We slept well last night, even had the patio door open. (Maybe that's why we slept better.) Less street noise here and much better view but I missed the cruise ship arriving because I was sound asleep at 7!
BTW: dh was so happy last night that I made it through the day without a nap. I could hear the happiness/relief in his voice when he commented on that as we went to bed.
I'm going through photos now to decide what to print off.

Re: Motivated Monday
I have a very sore wrist today from the painting yesterday - assume gripping the paintbrush. The rockers and table will need another coat, and yesterday I didn't reach through the wet paint to get the back side of the spindles across the bottom, so not everything even got a first coat.
For today:
-get first coat consistently on painted items
-pick up mineral oil after work for clean up
-draft two temple letters needed
-what else?

LO delivered to school.
I'm overwhelmed where to start.
I'm going to try 45 work/15 rest rotation I have strong memories of that working well on the old SHE board.
Off to set my timer. BB @ TOTH

TOTHing - Oh, that's cool, OKay. I have a washer load spinning. I'll start to play for a round or two
helia, easy to understand why you are belated with wishes. You've had a lot of running to do.
Ooooooo, creativity, Twins' Mom. I missed what color?
Kathryn, he'll expect you to forgo a nap every day now, so remind him sometimes it's a bit of a see-saw as we recover.
ellyphant, if you ever want help with photo resizing, just ask one of the mods.
Speaking of whom-other, Empynester must be deep into house-proud days now.
Nancy, we miss you.
scattered I am hanging onto motivation tooth and nail!
Here's some: Dd32 and family arrive in 4 days.
I've set up a heavy cleaning day with dstepdil at the other house for Wednesday, so I know ya'll are all proud of me for that. It's become easier and easier to ask her for help - she's so sweet. We'll probably put in 4 hours together (not too early in the day, for our household's scheduling reasons). Of course as wonderful as that is, it still squeezes all other prep even further. Ya'll will be shocked to hear that I have a MENU for our evening meal this weekend, though. (I am the world's worst menu-planner.)
