Taking a break... So far I've
Changed the bed
Washed the bedding
Am airing out winter bed cover
Cleaned bathroom
Cleaned sink and washed and put away random dishes
Watered plants inside and out
Straightened out bed room and other bed Ive been using

Not too bad for 1.5 hrs considering how bad I've been feeling for a while.
Back to work...dusting and vacuuming next

Home from an emotional filled morning.

I flunked my repeat mammogram. :( They did couple more regular views....took them to be read........ then came back and took the big "squisher" off and put on little paddles and did more views......took those to be read by doctor. Nope. Flunked those too. They immediately took me to have an ultrasound. I was able to see on screen what is causing the concern. There are 2 oval shaped spots. When the ultrasound was finished the radiologist Doctor came in and told me the his opinion of the findings and gave me options. He believes they are benign fluid filled cysts. I can have biopsy to remove completely and put a clip in to mark spot...... or they can use a needle to aspirate any fluid.....or I can wait 6 months and have another mammogram. i chose to do nothing now and wait to see what they look like in 6 months. I will be seeing my family doc in another week or so and will confirm with him that I am making an okay decision. As I was moved from one piece of testing equipment to another, switching technicians, doctor conference...... I kept thinking how fast things happen when they think something could be wrong. I was back in my car 45 minutes after entering the hospital. ZOOOM!

The hospital gift shop was closed, so I made a trip to buy a plant then returned to the hospital to visit a friend. She has stage 4 liver cancer which has spread all through her body. :( She has no health insurance so she is unsure of her options for treatment. :( I didn't know if she would want to talk, but she did. So I stayed and listened to her share some concerns. Very sad to see anyone go through something like this.

Made 3 more stops and then is headed home. Now I have 57 minutes to put toes-up before picking LO up from school and preparing him to attend cousins trick-n-treat outing. On our way there I will deliver supper to the husband & 2 children of friend I visited with this morning.

Okay ... Just put your feet up and take time to breath. My mom went through the same thing like you and they were indeed benign. She chose aspiration and was fine. It was years ago and she hasn't had a problem since. Know this will nag at you just try to keep thinking positive thoughts.

I finished dusting the major part of the house...lots of wood. Also dusted the blinds in this part of the house. There's way more here than in the remainder of the house. Have good country music going and that helps. Now I'm off to clean kitchen counters and then vacuum this part of the house.

I've increased my vitiam B's using the one suggested here plus the ones I already had. Been reading that many my age are very deficient in this area. Don't knownifnitsnthw placeboe effect or not, but even though I'm still sick my energy level is much better. Hope, hope, hope this continues.

Helia I haven't been to my WW meetings in 3 weeks. I haven't even try to focus on it as I need to get well first. Plus I'm on steroids and I don't have to tell you what that does to my body. Once I feel better I will start again..however I still keep counting points.

Okay--I had a cyst show up on mammogram 15 years ago. Doctor said it was a cyst based on the well-defined shape that he saw on ultrasound. I did nothing except have mammograms every 6 months for a few years. It did go away and caused no problems.

Apron talk: DD tells me they have them at the dollar store. I did see some cute ones at TJ M axx, also. DGM always wore one to cook in. Some of hers were fancy and frilly. I remember one was black checked material with pockets on the front labelled "Goodies" , "Aches and Pains", and "Tranquilizers". :) She had one with a fifties poodle dog design.

Have been keeping up somewhat with activities here--just not taking time to post. Wrapped a few Christmas gifts for DD, DS and DDIL today. Got DH a gift, but gave it to him as a late birthday gift yesterday. So back to square one with him!

Have a great weekend, everyone! We'll be raking leaves here.

(((OKay))) If you can not worry about this, then I can not worry about this! (Because of my family history I'd be doing something radical about now - or eating a fullsized bag of potato chips and drinking a Dr. Pepper.)

I gardened for 90 minutes. Also brought in the clothes off the line. Have had a glass of water and will be off for my nap in a bit but I'll do a round of stretches first in order to help my back. Hopefully it isn't planning revenge on me but so far it is just tired.

I've only done 2550 steps so far today despite the vacuuming and dusting upstairs and the gardening. I suppose that shows how easy I'm taking things (I sat and crawled along in front of the garden instead of stooping or going up and down.) I filled the wheelbarrow and left it on the lawn for dh. From that point on, I left piles by each garden and he can clean up after me. I'm just not strong enough to handle the full wheelbarrow.

(((OKay))) I hope everything comes out fine for you. My MIL had an aspiration and was fine, too. PMA helps and writing in a journal, sometimes, too. Sorry you flunked the repeat mammogram. They give you so many choices to decide on and they're all hard decisions to make.

Ellyphant, I'm glad your cyst went away and caused no problems, for you, too. Those aprons sounded funny. Cute, too. I love those aprons that have ruffles on the straps attached to the bodice. Cute.

Cowinkie, You're a busy bee. What does increasing Vitamin B do? Is it for energy?

Helia, I used to go to WW and the weigh-in, in front of others embarrassed me. But I loved our speakers! It was fun. I went for years. I have so much WW stuff now, too, because I was doing it on-line, too, but put it all away and decided to just write my food and not count anything. If I haven't lost 10 Lbs. by the New Year, because I'm on a plateau, I might get out my WW stuff and start in again.

Whoosh! I'm back! Had a phone call to answer! :!: DH is gone to the hardware store and then to celebrate his b-day with his friend. I'm home alone with the humming of the DW. He loaded it and started it this a.m. I dumped 1 bathroom trash and wrote a to do list. I'm slowly getting going on my day. I slept until 9 a.m. because I was exhausted for some reason.

Kathryn, Helia, and Harriet, and Booksaver,
I rarely put on my butcher block aprons because subconsciously and consciously it means to me that I'm getting down to boggie and get dirty and work-work-work! I tend to overdo and forget to take baby steps and breaks and go fast and furious. Then, I'm all tuckered out, sometimes for a couple of days, and to me apron = WORK. But daily, I do little things around the house, as I see them and if it's a holiday occasion, family get-together or company coming, I spread out my housework over the span of about 4 days and then go back and re-do the toilets and sinks last minute. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, so I'm supposed to baby step. If I don't, I can be laid up for a few days. I love aprons because they keep our clothes clean while we're working. I'm thinking that maybe I'll start color coordinating my aprons with what I'm wearing for the day, to wear in the mornings, to get work done in the mornings, in baby steps. Then afternoons could be saved for finishing up the laundry, reading, doing mail and stuff. Aprons are motivational garments. See apron, do work. ;)

Kathryn, You gardened a good amount of time. Oh, you have nice enough weather for clothes on the line? Nice!

OKay, cysts are super common. Bet they are cysts. You didn't "flunk", . If your body could explain this to you, it would probably be more like medical science "flunks" because of not being able to reassure you quicker. I wonder - would thermography give most complete results? If so, and it would save you the needle-stick, you would just need to travel to one and they are popping up lots of places now. I'm pretty sure it would beat a mammogram in seeing the specifics, but don't know if it would be better than the ultrasound. Wait and ask your general practitioner what she/he would do. I wouldn't have made any decision today, either.

Ivy, I have been known to buy a dress because I had an apron it would look nice under! All aprons, however, go with jeans, too.

Cowinkie, I'm distressed to hear you haven't been feeling well. So glad the B complex is helping you, too. How are STWD and Wills?

B-complex OKay first mentioned here - now that several are taking it, I wanted to ask some questions. I just noticed it is a liquid rather than the dissolving tablets or the sprays HRH and I have bought. How is it to hold the liquid under the tongue? Taste bad? good? Hard to hold it there for the ... what, 30 seconds? I know they are effective. They (in form of sublingual tabs) brought HRH's level of B-12 up to where it was when he was having to have shots. yay. So, energy is a definite "byproduct"?

Oy. With getting up late and getting dMacs to vet and seeing dmom I haven't accomplished anything today. I definitely have the "I've got all weekend" mentality going today.

-clear/wipe kitchen counters, including high breakfast bar
-clear kitchen table
-start a lol
-make the bed
-straighten great room

OKay, talking to your general practitioner sounds like a good place to start. It's not something you have to decide this very moment.

Start and stop again. Just found that I missed phone message from vet so I am going to go pick up the "beast." Vet said liver and spleen enlarged and they took some samples for analysis, but I don't know what that means.

((Twins' Mom))

HRH just emailed the trailer for Mockingbird Lane (?) the remake of the Munsters that airs for the first time at 8 tonight. He is very suspicious of remakes, but maybe... ...

Harriet.... I just put a dropped full of the liquid under my tongue and let it seep out from it. Tastes find. My other B's go under my tongue and let them disolved. Doesn't take but 10 seconds. I have had others that took the full 30 seconds. I like the liquid much better.

The liquid is suppose to have the same composition as the shots. States on the back package. This....the supplement...is equivalent to the normal injectable B12 dose. It does have folic acid in it and I know that is important when taking B vitamins. Their website is www.biotalenergy.com
